Unlike the other time… this time I will be around to monitor the growth and be able the LST some brunches to better expose the new growth to the light(the sun, maybe in my 6th cycle I will install fans and lights), however let me worry about getting this current cycle to harvest. I am glad to see after a heavy session of defoliation she did not take time from recover from shock, now she’s going to just focus on flowering. She’s my biggest plant during this cycle, I wonder if she’s going to bless me with juices strawberries size buds. So much excitement lays ahead, must not mess up a good thing.

Hi@all, this is the last week in the vegetative phase. Starting tomorrow it will be switched to 12/12. Looks quite good to my taste, except for too much light and too little fertilizer. Both light and fertilizing are somewhat under control for now (hopefully) I continue to enjoy trying to adjust all the values of the plant/nutritions and environment correctly and finding out what works well and what doesn’t. Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

Chopped down. The weather really effected this plants growth. It turned out pretty airy and not a lot of trichomes. We will see how the smell is after the dry/cure

This girl is quite a bit smellier than her blue toof sister. A bit more resinous as well. She got a tea last night that had a few inputs (grokashi, be1, be2, molasses, fish sh!t, Em1). She isn't gonna be big, but she is gonna be beautiful

On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd

Esta semana hubo un par de noches de tormenta, por suerte pude resguardarla bajo un invernadero improvisado y no sufrió daños. Aun sigue pidiendo bastante agua aunque no tanta como hace unas semanas. Queda poco para la cosecha, las colas están duras y pesadas, pero sus ramas parecen aguantar el peso sin problemas.

gorilla is fading out well still putting weight on and getting super frosty stinking like mad . been removing the most yellow leaves as they fade and shes just been on water going to mix 1g of bactrex into 1l of water to finish her of then just water again looking within next few week for sure not much else to say thanks for reading happy growing guys

Hello Growers & Tokers! This week was all about the roots! At the beginning of the week, on day 17 or so.. they all got transplanted into their final pots, 11L fabric pots. Medium used was Light Mix from BioBizz. Synergy from Grotek nutrients was blended in the medium to help out the roots. They were a bit droopy the first days but by the end of the week leaves perked back up and started getting that dark green color. I plan on leaving them be for a week then topping them.
