Made it to the garden store at 4:20pm they closed at 4pm...Luckily the owner was still there doing paper work and let me in...got soil for my next grow and some other odds and ends...a lot of cool stuff in there and I will be making some upgrades as my budget allows 9-11 Thc Bomb Auto is at 73 days today buds are still swelling trichs are 5% amber at best I have been flushing and feeding only water since day 60...I'm gonna let her go the distance!!! I have 2 surviving Bubble Bomb clones and their mother is thriving since her move outside...ill get pics of her later... 9-13 Harvested the thc bomb auto all day yesterday...the surviving lady left in this grow is Bubble Bomb and her clones...I'm going to run those in their own diary and clone them again unless anyone objects or I get raided but run the Bubble Bomb Fem out right here...she is getting huge...im runnin her in a scrog because she is way too tall and were I come from you don't wanna be seen in public with a fat girl if you catch my drift...she is 75 days today and just started to grow hair...Ill train her down as much as I can in the next week or so...first full 12 hours of darkness is sept 25 here...im gonna heavy feed her until then...Happy Growing!!!!!

After I ran into (read: caused) some critical problems with my last grow I took some of the lessons I learned and am already back with my nose to the grindstone. I've made a few changes to my setup, namely I decided to switch to using seperate buckets instead of the combined tote for a number of reasons; Less risk of TPK from shared issues, less wasted nutes, higher air/water ratio, easier to inspect the plants, the whole nine yards. I also went and decided to upgrade from the SF1000 to the SF2000, because I could, so there. These are the last of the Green Crack seeds I got from a localish seed bank, this time I started the germ by soaking them for 24hrs in a glass of water and then transferring them to the paper towel method, were they only spent a grand total of two days in before they were already shooting out tap roots and I moved them to the Rockwool (with a dash of Great White) and into the lot new homes today. And I definitely learned a lesson from last time in regards to my feeding, they're just on straight tap water here until they pop and get past their baby leaves. Learned my lesson about lockout the last time.

So another week down and we started the scrog. As we draw closer to sexual maturity we are preparing to flip to flower. More compost tea and knf this week really trying to bring this soil to life. The health of this plant is showing me the efforts are not in vain. How ever I have had to cut some yellowing leafs from the bottom. Maybe a calcium this so I’ve added wsc (water soluble calcium) to the pantry of nutes. With the left over plant matter from making the fpj I added to water with a vinegar mother and she turned it into vinegar for me. I then added blended and roasted eggshells. And that’s given me my wsc. Anyways back to the plant, this genetic seem really strong. I’m loving vegging this girl. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

It's doing it's normal tall Jack Herer growing. Definitely have to start training soon, she'll be going outside but I want to keep her shorter almost bush like. We'll see how that goes with a tall girl?!

Poor Skunk Apple really is the runt of the litter. I think we can blame my rookie mistake of giving it a gallon of water that was way too strong. It's been struggling to recover ever since. Hopefully this little guy will catch up eventually, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. May this year bring you all the things you've been wishing for. Let's make this the best year yet! I can't believe how much my plants have grown during this stretch! It's like they've been on some serious plant steroids. They've all at least doubled in size, some of them even more. I have a hard time with overwatering, especially now that it's harder to let them dry out. I just don't know if I'm damaging the roots with all this growth.

This week has been just keeping them happy/learning the needs of the grow room to keep a steady environment. The humidifiers are pushing hard to keep it at 65~70 so im sure once I bump the RH down next week It will be more manageable. I have to fill humidifier #1 once a day but have to keep a eye on #2. It picks up the slack but it runs out every few days. Will start feeding on Monday so the plant can take the days to start rooting in the new pots. If you live in the south Publix reusable bags are .99 and are great 5gl~ fabric pots. Will find bin to put in the bottom of tent to be able to water to run off but I have time for that.

Overall, I am really impressed with the quality of this grow. Impressed by Barney Farms and the quality of this seed! Overall it was pretty easy to grow, with great yield, and great tasting buds!

Heidi needs a lil more time growing in comparison to her sisters and cousins. Yet she managed to grow about 10cm in the last week and is shining in a healthy green. I've started adding CALMAG to the water and nourishing her with it.

Upon the return of power, the DH48-S relay timer, which controls irrigation, failed again. This has happened for the third time in the last 4 months. Unfortunately, I couldn’t react immediately, so the ladies were without water again for a few hours. I’ve ordered a TrolMaster program device and additional sensors AMP-3 for pH, EC and humidity, and temperature control. No more messing around! Water consumption is gradually decreasing, and electrical conductivity of the water is slowly rising. I’m starting to reduce the strength of the nutrient solution. Each subsequent tank refill will be at approximately 1.0EC. Purple Lemonade and one Wedding Cheesecake will continue flowering into the ninth week, but they’ll be the largest ladies in this batch. All the ladies look and smell fantastic, and the buds are already firm to the touch, especially the Wedding Cheesecake. Starting tomorrow, I’ll gradually reduce the nutrient strength and light intensity. I’ll make an effort to keep the temperature around 23-24°C. Growing like a weed. Did some LST, defoliated some yellowing leaves. Looks like nitrogen deficiency. Side dressed with Back to Earth 4-4-4, half the recommended amount and Superthrive. Hasn’t been give any nutrients since transplant. 4 days earlier treated with cal-mag and recharge. Sprayed with some organic neem oil mix a few days prior to that to keep pests away. I’m doing my best to keep everything au naturale.

The first signs of the plant that she went to the first week of the flowering stage appeared, thats where the cannabis plant experiences rapid growth known as "the stretch," to support future bud development. Low-Stress Training (LST) is applied to manage this growth and optimize light distribution. Beneficial nematodes were introduced for natural pest control, effectively eliminating soil-dwelling pests. The nutrient regimen is adjusted to focus on increased phosphorus and potassium levels, promoting bud development. Together, I hope that these techniques support the plant's health and set the stage for a successful harvest with high-quality buds. stay tuned 😋

🌿 Week 11: Frosty Heights & Real Talk (Flower Week 6) First off, apologies for the slight delay! Usually, I drop these updates on Monday, but I was out celebrating my 25th birthday yesterday and, well... let’s just say things got a little out of control, haha! But I'm back in the tent now, and the girls didn't seem to mind the extra day of peace. Welcome to Week 11. We are deep in the flowering phase (Week 6), and the tent is looking like a winter wonderland. But let’s keep it real – while the frost is insane, it hasn't been a "perfect" run since it’s my first experience with living soil. Here’s the honest breakdown. 🛠️ The Big Defoliation & Adjustments The canopy got so thick that I had to perform one last major defoliation. I removed a significant amount of the large fan leaves that were shading the lower bud sites. It’s always a tough call this late in the game, but it was absolutely necessary to get that light penetration down to the secondary colas and improve RH. Combined with raising the entire tent to save the tops from light stress, the environment is now much more balanced. If you look closely at some of the upper leaves, you can still see a bit of "tacoing" (curling edges) from the previous light intensity and buds on the top of the sweet spot are not very well bulked because of heat stress by light. I caught it likely and the "scars" remained. 🌱 Organic Struggles & Success The "Autumn Fade" is hitting harder than I expected. The remaining fan leaves are yellowing quite aggressively. In living soil, this usually means the nitrogen is running low what I read as the plant focuses everything on the buds. I’m letting nature take its course, but I’ll keep an eye on it to make sure they have enough gas to reach the finish line. • The Scrog Management: My canopy isn't perfectly level. I have a few "underdogs" getting shadowed by the main colas even after the defoliation. It’s a lesson for next time – I need to be even more aggressive with LST early on to keep everything in one uniform plane. 📊 Stats & Environment: • Genetics: Banana Purple Punch Auto (FastBuds) • Status: Bulking phase. • RH: Dropped to 45%-40% – absolutely critical now to prevent any bud rot in these dense clusters. • Temp: 22-26°C. • Aroma: A heavy mix of tropical fruit sweets and gassy undertones. La alegria que se palpita es mucha! Siempre soñe con tener cogollos oscuros y esta es la primera vez! Es notable la diferencia entre la planta fertilizada con namaste y la de feeding, aunque con este solo utilize el Grow y el Booster. Esta ultima tiene un aroma mas plano, sutil, pero gana en volumen. En cambio con la que utilize namaste destaca mas la precencia de ese aroma como a frutos del bosque, dulce y terroso. A comienzos de pre flora aparecieron unos gusanos verdes que se multiplican muy rápido. La mayoria la elimine a mano, pero lo ideal es utilizar jabon potasico + Aceite de neem para eliminarlos inmediatamente.
