Another week gone by and the plants are growing nicely. I had some yellow coloring of the lower leaves at the beginning of the week and so i increased the fertilizer a little bit and the plants are responding well so far. Since they are in the bigger pots i also dont need to water them every day anymore, this week i only watered them twice. I also picked some of the lower leaves which dont receive so much light anymore, topped the remaining strains and tried to bend down some of the branches with some garden wire but didnt work as good as i hoped it would. i still have a scrog-net which im going to use later, but i think the plants are still too small. in the future im going to try different techniques and materials, for now i'm not going to overthink it and just let them grow now,.

Having a pop at Weedseedsexpress version of Do Si Dos. Been an interesting start as I popped 3 beans from from WSE on the 19th. The other 2 strains cam in no worries within a day and we're potted and under light on the 22nd. The D-S-D however was a no show. This morning I noticed a bit of a shoot showing so assumed she was just slower. But on closer inspection she had spun in her jiffy and the root was growing out of the Coco and the rest was underground . So i cut open the jiffy and found a rather yellow looking beginning of a plant...So I spun her around closed the plug up and will get her into a solo cup to root in.. The trouble is I got worried and have since started soaking another do si dos and a Sunset Sherbet... I swore I would stick to 3 plants and it looks like I'm on 5 again.. Maybe it is the green gods making sure I harvest enough..💚😂🌿. Some details about Do Si Dos . This GSC x Face Off OG cross is a (70%) Indica dominant hybrid with a THC content of no less than 30%! Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. * Looks like we got 2 males so far number 2 and 6. *Soil Ph climed back up to 6.2 by adding about 1TBs of lime. *On one of the males I believe #2 I did find what appears to be thrips. So I sprayed down everything no sign of anything on any plant. Now that i see it they are small aphids *Increased PH from 450 to 550

End of Week 9 flower! Smell ist getting crazy. Buds are not quite big but rock solid! Gonna keep this running for another 3 days and then start a 48h period of darkness before chopping the plants. Been reducing the temperature from 26 to 22deg over the last week.

Не паникую(мы же на расслабоне гровим 😜), надломил до хруста противоположную ветку, для симметрии, и временно убрал растяжки. Ну вот, планировал не мучать свой автоцвет, но пока не выходит 😈 В конце недели собираюсь делать плановую промывку. 👉Таки доделал досвет низов по периметру, ближе к началу цветения будем тестировать, оставайтесь на связи. Ztrawberries= as you can see from the pic and video these girls are skyrocketing climbing almost an inch a day. Showing good signs of pre flower, very impressed with dominant heads coming through on all these ladies 👌🏽 Tropicana cookies = These girls are just showing off there stretch rate match that of the ztrawberries and it’s and impressive spectacle to watch also showing good signs of pre flower Cherry Cola = These girls seem a week slower than the rest none of the less they are showing a decent amount of heads just no signs of any stretch. O.N = Ztrawberries and Tropicana Cookies have had some defoliation not really touched Cherry Cola so I don’t cause any unnecessary stress. EC increased from 1.1 to 1.3. Very happy this week!!
