Hey everyone 😀. A lot has happened again this week 👍. Pheno 1 goes from the color more and more to red 😍, whereby Pheno 2 also slowly starts to color 😃. Flowering day 21 Today both were poured with 1.2 L each and checked for their health. The humidifier was also refilled. Flowering day 22 Today the tent was cleaned and both phenotypes checked for pests and so on. Flowering day 23 Today both were poured again, this time only 1.6 l for both together. The tent was cleaned with disinfectant 👍. Flowering day 24 Today the humidifier was refilled, the activated carbon filter changed after 9 months, and all the electronics checked :-). Flowering day 25 Today 1.5 l was poured per plant so that some train comes out and rinses out excess nutrients 👍. The box was also cleaned and the plants checked for health. Flowering day 26 In both phenotypes, the bottom mini buds were removed for the last time so that the full energy goes into the top buds 👍. The tent was cleaned and the whole room was cleaned. Flowering day 27 Like every two days, the water was also poured today, but this time only 0.7 l per plant, because two days ago it was poured with Train 😄. The lamps were adjusted to the size and placed about 5 cm high. All in all, it was a perfect week, everything is going as it should and the plants are feeling very good 👍. Week 5: This week was all about battling bugs, adjusting fans endlessly, making bug traps, blood and sweat, and of course the dreaded humidity. I found a few mosquitos and Aphids munching on my girl. Unfortunately mosquitos are a “resident” of the area I live too so had to set a few bug traps. Also ordered some cool equipment and organic insecticide to get her feeling right as rain again, really looking forward to our next week. Topped her and have already starting doing some LST to spread the branches and get more light onto new growth, from which is doing very well. Scary experience as I was afraid of hurting her, tore a leaf here or there but no harm done. Once again the great genetics from Humboldt seed organization and Quality Just Cannabis soil kept her stable and she pulled through! Sipping more water this week a little more than 5L water. Still battling humidity with the fluctuating weather but that should be sorted in the next few days... until next week ✌️

Missed last week so the measurements for their feeding was for 8 weeks this week they got PH water only 3 liters each. These girls are in their final stretch they will get one more feeding and then start the flush. They get fed or watered every 4 days as needed. Ultimate #3 which has been the dwarf since the beginning has wind burn from the fan had to readjust the fan and move the lights up so the other two don’t get fried. They are looking and smelling good and their buds are coming together nicely. As with the last batch of Ultimates they aren’t sticky yet they seem to wait to really develop that stickiness until just before harvest.

Flowering slowly, likely due to the roots having low PH(4-5).. I flushed her a few weeks back.. I'm done experimenting with nutrients for now; I had better results, with less issues with just using the basics. *Special Nug picture - This Bud-site has a different shape/structure compared to every other nug on this plant.. Never seen this before, on any other strain.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. 7/7 17 days old. Calling this her first week of veg. She did not appear to be growing much for a few days after being transplanted. However in the last couple of days she has been putting on height. Now that she is growing again it seemed like a good time to top her. Topped her at the fifth node. A few of my previous grows I topped at the single leaves. This gave me two main branches that I just tied down. Then let all the branches grow up. Gave me a very uniform plant. 7/9 She has a very healthy dark green color. Her branches almost immediately started growing after being topped. I can see the difference in 2 days. Her nodes are very close together. 7/10. This lady has huge tits/leaves. Her leaves are so big they’re blocking out the light for the branches. I used some coat hanger to pull the leaves out of the way. Really her leaves are huge for her age. They’re almost the size of my hands and I’m 6,3. I pulled 1 leaf off to help open her up some. I will do some reading on this strain. I believe as she gets older she will look more sativa. Right now she looks heavy indica. 7/11 She broke ground 21 days ago. She graduated into veg 4 days ago. This plant is growing very nicely. 7/14 25 days old. Gave her water with liquid kelp. Her branches are quickly growing to the top. Would love to do some defoliation but I’m not. Other than a few 3 blade leaves in the center. Absolutely love her dark green color. So far the living soil is doing a great job. The company says just water. We will see. Ethos Genetics is top shelf. My friend grows mostly Ethos and these plants are just amazing. I was hunting for old school so I didn’t grow any Ethos until now. Old school is gone. I have never saw buds like these Ethos. This plant needs to come out close to or better than my friends. She is growing in organic living soil and her color is great. The only thing I added was myco supreme on her roots. The next time I water her she will get some liquid kelp and humic acid. The plant is relying on the living soil to eat. So I want to make sure her root system is very healthy and able to process nutrients.

Finally seeing some fluffy flowers!! A small bit of trimming this week to get the light hitting more bud spots. should I defoliate further or let nature take its course??

Day29F - Buds really taking on form. Smell of banana kicks soon as tent opens, but on touching its more of a banana sherbert still 🤤. Day 31F, noticing calmag deficiency, prior to flush, but looking st other diaries and monitoring her trichomes, she is very nearly at her end. I'm seeing 70-80% cloudy-clear trichomes, so just watering now, pH balanced with calmag to finish to the week. Pistils maturing, trichomes flooding, starting to see cloudy, will try push feeds and water for this week then if she's ready I'll flush next week 🤞✌️💚 Day33F - she has now matured well enough for me to start flushing. Seeing cloudy fat trichomes now covered all over. I'm using RQS led Carson micro to inspect. Started to flush using 2gal each time PhD water with Flawless finish Advanced nutrients. 60-70% run off. Smell is phenomenal. Camera does no justice. I will invest this Xmas and treat myself 😎💚 Monitoring closely now for them amber trichomes.

Finalmente si inizia con la fioritura, ho atteso che venisse mostrato il prefiore femminile prima di switchare e così facendo ho riempito lo spazio di coltivazione del box Da ora inizia la fase più bella della coltivazione, sono super carico e non vedo l'ora di raccogliere i frutti!!! PS. Ho fatto circa 70 cloni dagli scarti che ho tagliato poichè non prendevano bene la luce Grazie a tutti per il supporto ❤️🔥🌲

All buds are cut and washed in a bath of lemon juice and baking soda/water. I have adopted this as a new standard for every harvest. We washed out quite a bit of dirt and shit. Lots of black floaties in the bath after and a few bugs we did not even realise were in there... The buds were hung and left with a fan over them for an hour before being removed to my drying room. Sitting hanging in there at RH 65% and temp is 20c. Will bring Rh down to 55 in next few days. I will update with a report once they have dried.. Thanks for all the help on this grow people who helped.. you know who you are.. Back in a wekk to 10 with a taste report.. Update.. buds dried after 6 days. Trimmed and jarred with a final dry weight of 112g once I took all branch off. Not tried her yet. I will give her a week at least in the hats before we try and will report back then.

Une des 2 pheno est vraiment devenue plus rouge que l'autre. Tres belle tete rosé . Tres resistante . Une des 2 fait parti de mes 3 plante a avoir eu problem ph et elle a sue sortir du lot et reprendre ca semaine perdu pour devenir une des plus grosse plante dans les 5 qui on pousser cote a cote .
