Overall very impressed with Ethos line of plants, the Gorilla Glue from Barney's Farm i am not super impressed with, they said on website 63-70 days.

D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 20-22C light OFF - no water - RH: 49-52% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 19-20C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 135PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7 and 680PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 560PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 47% light ON ; 48-53% light OFF D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: less then a gallon each - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. ( Argh ein winziges grünes Blatt. Eines! Ihr dürft gerne selber suchen.) ... ( allerdings, die Riecht guhhht, das ist richtig) Und stark, also stärker als diese Sorte sonst riecht. Ich kenne sie.

📆 Semana 6 ¡Qué semanita se ha marcado la Grease Monkey! Ya se nota que está bien metida en floración: los cogollos empiezan a coger buena forma, cada vez más apretados y resinosos. Tiene ese rollo pegajoso que tanto nos gusta, y las hojas cercanas a las flores ya brillan con tricomas por todos lados. Estoy siguiendo con la gama de XpertNutrients, que le está sentando de lujo. No he tocado mucho la receta esta semana, solo afinando un poco el riego para adaptarme al ritmo que lleva. Se nota que está en su punto dulce. Los Adlite siguen demostrando que son una inversión top. Gracias a la buena distribución de luz, incluso las ramas secundarias están desarrollando cogollos decentes, no solo las puntas. En cuanto al ambiente, las temperaturas se han mantenido suaves, entre 22 y 25 °C, y la humedad está en torno al 55%, un poco más alta de lo ideal, pero por ahora sin señales de problemas. Estoy ventilando bien y con el ojo encima por si acaso. El aroma empieza a ser un espectáculo: dulce y cremoso, con ese fondo a gas tan típico de la Grease Monkey. Los tricomas están en su mayoría lechosos, así que aún queda tiempo para que siga engordando y afinando perfil. Crecimiento firme, flores con presencia y resina a punta pala… ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

20cm growth this week. Flowers are forming and I can see purple on them 😍 The bad news this week is I was bending her lower branches.. trying to spread her out a bit. I've managed to snap both of them! She has been repaired best I can do, so will monitor it over next day or so to see how effective the fix is. I don't hold out much hope for one branch.. Looks like it's wilting already 😞

I’m baaaaack!!! Sorry I’ve been away for a while. I’ve been busy getting everything together for the next phase… Welcome to the Dude Garden 2.0! I now have 3 grow areas. Two 2x4 tents (one for clone/veg, another for mothers) and a large 10x12’ish flowering area (its actually larger than that, but I’ll be conservative). The tents are running 300w LED’s and a T5 for the cloning/sprouting station. The flowering area has a 1000w HPS!!! I’m totally psyched to see how the HPS does with flowering for me. From all the research I’ve done It seems to still be undisputed that HPS is the best for flowering (but not so good on the electric bill). I moved all plants from the tents to the new flowering area under HPS. That includes 3 Blackberry’s (FastBuds), NYC Diesel Auto (Barney’s Farm), DinaMed+ and Critical+ (DinaFem), Cream & Cheese CBD (Seedsman) and 3 Cherry Hemp (Elevator Supply Co). With the autos You’ll see the first 2 Blackberry’s are getting close to harvest, but looking a bit funky due to the issues they had early on as seedlings. The 3rd is looking much better and will probably yield more than the first 2 combined. I do love the purple and the aroma is insane. The NYC Diesel Auto is looking very nice, the main cola is developing nicely and has great colors. With the photoperiod plants, most are already kind of big considering they haven’t flipped to flower yet. I’m expecting the stretch to kick in at any time for these girls. I hope they don’t break the roof. The Dinafem plants are looking best so far at this stage IMO, but the Cream & Cheese CBD is looking very nice too. And I’m not disappointed at all with the Cherry Hemp plants, one is several weeks older than the other two, but the smaller two have a great node structure. It should be very interesting to see how these 3 grow from here. I expect the older one to be the largest at harvest, but the 2 little girls look ready to explode. We’ll see what happens. I transplanted the photos from the 3 gallon grow bags to 7 gallon fabric pots. And also purchased some Pot Elevators that they are sitting on. The Plant Elevators are pretty cool, they have a mesh base to allow better drainage and air flow to the bottom of the pots. I have clones of all of the photos cut and planted in Jiffy pellets in a humidity dome. I took 3 clones of each. The strongest clones will become mothers, the others will be grown out. Note: The HPS gives much more of a yellow wash on the pics than I was expecting. I tried to color correct the pics the best I could and tried to get to the real colors, It should be pretty close.

The mites didn’t get this plant quite as bad . I cant wait to cut them down and clean this room out and start fresh!

This cycle was all along a great pleasure. The plants developed MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED, the result under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED lamps from SANlight is FANTASTIC. I have NEVER harvested more from plants of the same strain under HPS and the quality of the bud (trichomes, taste aroma) is MUCH BETTER when grown under LED, my decision is definitely made, I will continue to solemnly grow with LED-lights in the future. I harvested 2250 gram of Shiva Skunk and 3009 gram of Serious Kush, that a total amount of 5259 gram. In relation to the 3000 Watts (incl. dimmed part!) power of the LED-lights thats an AMAZING 1,753 gram per Watt.

I was learning a lot just about water itself. Currently the method I use was inspired by an article I found on Canna Nutrient’s website: Rainwater + tap water to EC 0.2 (100ppm) Add CalMag to reach EC 0.4 (200ppm) Ph down (first diluted a small amount in water) Nutes Day 58: Increased the feed to 3/4 Day 59: Replaced the tap water to liquid silicon. Rainwater + Liquid silicon to EC 0.2 (100ppm) Add CalMag to reach EC 0.4 (200ppm) Ph down (first diluted a small amount in water) to ph 5.6

I had a look 👀 at the trichom it’s 90% cloudy, 5% amber and 5% transparent so as I’m looking for a sativa high for the daily smoke I chopped 2 of them and let 3 others getting more ambers 💪💪👊
