I added a second LED which works with more purple/red light additionally to my full spectrum white light to give the buds more the wave length they prefer. Seems like the new light pushes them to spread and elongate their branches, especially the main stem.

Week 1 - The ladies are starting to produce more nodes, they seem like they are loving the fish tank water (Doing as experiment). Plant to Right Front had a leaf issue, one leaf had combined, other had 1 missing leaf (See in Pictures). Once Tall enough will start LST. Using Spider Farm SF4000, Growing 4 Northern Light Autos by Seedsman in 5 gal Fabric Pots, 70/30 coco perlite mix, with Living soil at bottom 1/3s of Pot. Hey Guys! Super excited this week! I've really been wanting to try growing outdoors, so I built a cheap hoop house! Got most of this stuff for the frame from Lowes under 300$. All the soil products I got from GrowGreenMI. Some really cool people out there. One thing I'm super worried about is drainage. Right now those holes are about 4 feet deep and they've got about 4 inches of water in them already. What's been cautioned is that, eventually, about 2 months in these plants roots will grow and reach the bottom and cause root rot to form. One of the biggest things I was trying to be wary of was causing root rot. This was also the biggest precautionary measure I took when mixing the soil. Adding the extra perlite, coco, and clay pebbles. Best advice right now is to build the soil up on the holes another 16 to 18 inches and possible stick a PVC pipe down to the lowest drainage point of the hole to allow some of that natural occurring water to evaporate. Any advice anyone has on it is welcomed! Making a compost tea for the soil outdoors, will probably put 2 cups in each RDWC bucket as well and let that do it's magic for a day or so before nutrient change. Raised the bed about 14 inches as well! All the seeds sank! Off to a good start! Lol

HELLO GROWING FRIENDS - Please look at my Aftermovie Growvideo, which cost me about 4 hours to create. hope you like it! Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 209 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I’m really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I’ve gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I’m incredibly proud of my first results! An here we are. At the end of another cycle. The end of another year, and what a year it was. For Sunshine and me personally, it was a tough year, with our families sick on multiple occasions, life-threatening. We are very thankful for many things but most of all that all our parents are healthy again. We wish your families are as fortunate in the coming year. So we end this Gorilla's life with a swift cut of the scissors, after thanking her again for the companionship, the well-needed distraction, and all the love she has given me already. I sometimes read that people won't go near their plants when they are angry or sad. Please do go to your plants when you are sad or angry! They are millions of years old. They have been healers of animals and humans since they were around. Our emotions can not taint something so pure as the spirit of this plant. She will heal us, give her life for us, sacrifice herself for our healing. She is all-powerful and all-knowing, there is nothing we mere humans can do, except disrespect her powers. Bask in her glowing light, enjoy her soothing energy, her creative spark when you are in need of love, just don't smoke her at that time, for she will soothe you bit not give her treasures, she will seduce you. Girls are doing ok. Will be increasing the nutrients slightly this week as we are now in week 2 of flower. Day 9, roots are super healthy which is key to some good fruits.

Back on track! Giving them some nitrogen has them drinking water at a much quicker rate and the flowers are adding some new growth in all direction. I think they’ll be a week or two behind the original forecasted finish date and while the leaves may not be the prettiest these little northern lights autos are going to have that great smell and taste we’ve all come to love.

Another week and the root growth is letting me know we're close to transplant time, which is a good timing with my tent getting ready for a new cycle. I pulled a few lower leaves off her to keep that energy pushing up to the top. Based on the leaves, she appears to lean to the OGKB in her lineage, so this should be a nice candidate for a scrog to get the most of the business of the strain. The hardiness of this seedling is definitely a testament to the breeders efforts in offering quality feminized genetics. Check them out on Strainly or see their site for their other offerings.

Sorry about not putting information about the grow I hate it. I wish I could just put up videos and pictures but I do try to provide a little information and it's really not much because I'm not doing much I'm amending the soil I'm adding micro nutrients and worm castings and sugars I stopped the Cal Mag pina colada stray is set to go for 9 to 10 weeks gummy bears are set to go for 8 to 9 weeks so we'll look at that three more weeks

Started LST with twine and removed several bad leaves. Waiting to see the flowers take off now.

Day 122. Job done !!! My first apprenticeship, which was documented here , was a success !!! My friend will smoke his own !!! Not a lot tho ;)))) Day 132. Girls still need couple days to dry out and i am extremely happy with such long dry. I personally in my setup never passed day 9 and here is day 10 and still going ..... Day 135. They spent almost 14 days on strings and in my mind could spent two more, but Boveda packs are in and they will cure for a bit ;) Cure day 20. She is super nice. Will try to do updates very soon.
