Started the week off well from the big defoliations and adjustings yesterday. Upped the feed amounts per litre but still diluting them down a bit and in the case of the Cookies just feeding plain water for 2 of every 3 days. This carried on all week with buds and smell starting to build very nicely indeed!

Commencing Week 8: day 50 on January 19th Update is late my sincerest apologies. I will make it up by giving a very thorough smoke report when all is done. Otherwise all is going very well 😁😁👏👏 On day 50 I took the head off of bloody skunk. I checked trichome colors under USB microscope. At least 90% fully milky-white with maybe 5 or 6% Amber and the remainder clear. 😁 On day 55 I gave all of the plants a fan leaf trim including the remaining bottom half of bloody skunk. as I sit here and think about it I believe this will help with ensuring the entire plant ripens and matures at the same time - versus the tops being ready before the bottoms. I still plan on letting the bottoms of all these plants go way beyond the recommended time to see if I can initiate the process of rodelization. Either way I am glad to report that Bloody skunks pollenization looks like it is resulting in some seeds. (See photo). In hindsight my only concern is that because the plant finished a bit earlier than I expected the seeds may not make it to full maturity but I believe it should be okay we'll just have to wait and find out. That being said besides the bloody skunk being done just a few days early everything else seems to be right on time as described in plant profiles on company websites.👍 That's all for now thank you for your patience and attention and support and as usual feel free to leave any suggestions comments or questions and I'll do my best to get back sooner rather than later 😁

Flowering day 70 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. 8/24 update: Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this 17+1 strain photoperiod SOG grow adventure! Yes, I said plus one. If you're following me, you may have already seen that I decided to sow one more strain. The first Jenny Kush seed didn't germinate and even if it did, we have 3 possible males in the garden, the rest are feminized. Since I bought sixteen 12 inch square pots to fill a 48" x 48" footprint, and we have some regular seeds in the mix, I figured it'd be a good idea to add one more strain. I went with another breeder I have never grown before, Expert Seeds. The strain is Gorilla x Cookies. My "helper" forgot to wet the seeds after I had sowed them and the top soil was a bit dry. I was not in the garden a little less than 48 hours and I gave them water when sowing, but I hope they didn't dry out too much. If the Gorilla Cookies doesn't germinate, I will rule that one as user error and not on the breeder. The rest of the garden is growing strong with the exception of the Sour Lemonaid. She sprouted looking a bit burnt and has some deformed leaves. In my experience, they usually grow out of it, but only time will tell. Hello, enfin je peux faire le dernier update. Nous voici à un peu plus de 15jours de séchage,,, la manucure est faite, Je ne suis pas déçu du résultat final, même si il reste encore plein de choses à améliorer,,, Hâte de relancer un nouveau cycle, pour tenter d’atteindre d’autres objectifs... plus de 500gr/m2🙏

This strain of Kings kush is a smelly one, I still can put my finger on the terp profile yet. Almost a kushy herby dank is all I can describe atm. Growing these plants, I would suggest pruning every second node once you get her into flower since the bugs tend to push up against each other and may cause bud rot. Say ontop of defoliation and try to qork on them on a daily basis rather than lolipoping. Another key thing is to keep rH in range during flower, I will recomend to set it to 40-50rh in flower. Also if you are growing outdoors, Be sure to cover them up during rain when in flowering, I uses a transparent tarp for the last 5 weeks of flower. Save my plants from 9 huge rain events during the last 5 weeks, my plants would of died from br. This strain had some decent cold resistance also! She stay alive with with few events of temps getting down to 4 deg c.

Hey Guys! Super excited this week! I've really been wanting to try growing outdoors, so I built a cheap hoop house! Got most of this stuff for the frame from Lowes under 300$. All the soil products I got from GrowGreenMI. Some really cool people out there. One thing I'm super worried about is drainage. Right now those holes are about 4 feet deep and they've got about 4 inches of water in them already. What's been cautioned is that, eventually, about 2 months in these plants roots will grow and reach the bottom and cause root rot to form. One of the biggest things I was trying to be wary of was causing root rot. This was also the biggest precautionary measure I took when mixing the soil. Adding the extra perlite, coco, and clay pebbles. Best advice right now is to build the soil up on the holes another 16 to 18 inches and possible stick a PVC pipe down to the lowest drainage point of the hole to allow some of that natural occurring water to evaporate. Any advice anyone has on it is welcomed! Making a compost tea for the soil outdoors, will probably put 2 cups in each RDWC bucket as well and let that do it's magic for a day or so before nutrient change. Raised the bed about 14 inches as well! All the seeds sank! Off to a good start! Lol

This strain was a mystery from the beginning. I planted 6 plants and got 4 drastically different phenos. Surprisingly they all have similar aromas but visually they’re much different. She stretched a lot and needed two layers of the sCrog net. One plant had 2 random seeds so I’ll probably be planting her again. Next time I’ll use a low stress method to see her at her full potential!
