Week 5: Repotting and Training Hello dear weed friends, I’m back with my fifth weekly report on my grow with four different strains: Lemon Gelato, Orange Sherbert, Apple Fritter and Bruce Banner. This week was very eventful for me, as I repotted all my plants into their final pots and trained them further. Here are the details: I repotted all the plants into 19-liter pots, as they had too much thirst for the smaller pots. The roots were very healthy and strong, which made me very happy. I covered the soil with a layer of perlite to protect it from drying out and ward off pests. I treated all the plants with LST (Low Stress Training) by tying them down. This resulted in them all having about the same height and a nice bushy overall picture. You can see that on the pictures I sent you. I ordered a special scrog net from a friend that came to my mind. It is supposed to be an innovative solution to optimally distribute and support the plants. I’m very curious about how it will work, but I will only test it in my third grow. My provisional net, which I actually wanted to use, unfortunately tore when I hung it up. That annoyed me a lot, but I quickly came up with an alternative. I used some hooks and tent poles that I had left over to make a makeshift net. You can also see that on the pictures. I’m now very happy with my plants, even the Lemon Gelato seems to regulate itself. She had some problems with nutrient uptake at first, but now she looks much better. I still fertilize according to schedule with all the fertilizers possible for me. I use all the options of the fertilizer that you can read in the fertilizer directory. Day 30, the ladies seem to like the increase in Co2. I’m still battling the mysterious leaf spots. I sprayed them with Neem Oil just in case it’s some kind of fungus or septoria. This should stop it from spreading if it is. Still maintaining a 6.0 pH. They get a nutrients change in a couple days, I am going to give them a full dose of CalMag, it’s recommended at 5ml/gal and I’ve been giving them 4ml/gal. It’s RO water so CalMag is definitely needed. **I have solved the mysterious leaf spot issue. It’s a Calcium deficiency 100%. Going to raise the pH to 6.2-6.3 and give them full doses of CalMag and see how they respond. Upped their feeding this evening and changed their res. #1&2 are getting 7.5g/gal of each V1 and V2 from FloraFlex nutrients. #3 is getting 10ml/gal of Advanced Nutrients MGB, and 8ml/gal of B-52 Day 31, decided to give the girls a little trim today. #2 and #3 more specifically because they had huge fan leaves blocking out light to some lower sites. Hopefully this doesn’t endure too much stress on them. I’ve also had the lights dimmed this whole time, decided to amp it up to 100% power. Will update again in 2-3 days to see how their responding. Day 35, #1 was showing brown spots again, I think I may be giving them too much nutrients. I dropped the PPMs from 1080 to 880 and adjusted the pH because it was dropping. pH has stayed stable over past 24 hours, plant doesn’t have any affected new growth. I gave all the ladies another trim as they were getting pretty bushy. Still not officially flowering yet they should be starting here really soon though. I’ve never grown an Autoflower before but I’ll learn.

Struggled a bit with heat, had to put a fan over canopy. The hps has made a noticable difference in hardening up the buds. I rhink another 10 days to 14 days left. Update day 49: as recommended by @B4RNS I have reduced the last week of feeding to e.c 1 prior to a week of flushing! New video added with lots of heads!

11/22 Day 31 from flip. Today is the first day that I took a tape measure from the lights to the topmost part of the canopy and I haven’t seen a change. I’ll check again tomorrow but I’m really hoping the stretch is finally done. I still have about 10 inches of space between the lights and canopy so I think I’ll be ok with that. I took the chance to do what is hopefully a near final defoliation of a few leaves and some smaller sucker branches that won’t amount to much. Everything still looks super healthy, no red anywhere on any stems and no discoloration on the leaves. Everything is spot on. Light adjusted to 840 PAR / 36.3 DLI. 11/25 Day 34 from flip. I made some adjustments to my nute mix to be more firmly at 1.3 EC, which means I’ve added some additional nutes into the mix. I also tested runoff EC and discovered things were spiking a bit more than I’d like. So I mixed up a few batches of my new mix and I’ve been feeding every few hours to flush things out a little bit. I’ve brought it down from 1.9 to 1.5 so far after this. I may finally need to break down and set up some timers to feed multiple times throughout the day. Obviously once a day is not getting done right now. 11/26 Day 35 from flip. I finally got the timer hooked up to my pump to begin automatic watering. For now, I have it set to water at noon for a minute when the lights come on, a 2 minute pause to let that settle, and then 30 seconds more to make sure both are fully saturated. The second fertigation event will be at 6:00 for 45 seconds, and then right before lights off another 45 seconds. I’ll have to keep an eye on it to see if I need to adjust any more for now. I haven’t adjusted the lights since last time, but the latest reading is 885 PAR / 38.2 DLI at the highest point of the canopy. It’ll stay there for now.

Removed bloom from nutes. Last feed on 31st. Plain water twice spaced over 2 days Can't wait to harvest this baby. 1 month is worth the dry n cure!

На этой неделе растения стабильно получали 20 часов света, это очень помогло им стать больше и сильнее. Я продолжаю тренировки LST. На этой неделе была обрезка веерных листьев, я часто практикую дефолиацию автоцветов. Надеюсь проблем со светом не будет, растения уже показали "усы" свой пол, значит стадия предцвета будет примерно через неделю, хочу что бы они стали ещё больше и набрали "мяса" массу. I continue with the same setting. I have 18/6 nice grow and flowering. Plants are healthy. This week I just started with Green sensation additive.

Nearing the end. Defoliated and pulled apart the mass of buds that had all grown into a single main cola. I didn't notice but there were multiple buds all cramed together, blocking out light to the inside. After pulling them apart and carefully tying them down I have been able to increase the airflow, trichome, and overall size while also decreasing the excess nitrogen that had built up in those cramped bud sites. Did all this about 5 days ago and ahe is getting even better. Just a few days left. Also, I cut off a little piece yesterday just cause I'm so desperate. Lol. Next update will be harvest!

The plants grew really well by about 13 cm. I put the photo period 12/12, they're really fragrant. I provided the right nutrients every day using mycorizze

Normally I am not a plant abuser (at least not in the literal term of the word) but the last few cycles I have been very superficial in the care of my plants. The result is lovely but not very large plants. I'll make up for it with the next few cycles <3
