[ Introduction ] Welcome to my first ever grow journal! I have been growing medically for the past couple years, documenting some of my grows on my Facebook and Instagram (@OnlyTomatoes) pages, as well as several cannabis cultivation subreddits. I've found that I do a lot of things differently than other growers, so I'd like to share a full cycle publicly in case I have the answers to somebody's questions. [ Updates ] Day 4 - Lights have been lowered to 18 inches off canopy, dimmed to 25%. They've recovered from both their transplant and their topping, new growth looks almost perfect. I'm going to keep the accidental sunflowers for a few more days and see if there's any significant difference between plants. They all received a foliar spray of neem, kelp, and a bit of calmag before lights off yesterday. I expect to be able to remove the remaining damaged leaves by the end of this week. Day 7 - Lights increased to 30%, C02 increased to 800ppm, getting ready for week 2 of veg. Fed today, fairly low EC (<1.5) blend of Silica, Calcium, Kelp, Molasses, and Tribus Grow in a mixture of R/O and tap water. Very little runoff at 1gal per pot. Will most likely foliar again before lights off with a light fish hydrolysate mixture to help with any nitrogen issues. Any dead or dying leaves you see are from pre-transplant, I'm just waiting a few days longer for the existing rootballs' ph levels to swing back to a healthy range before removing all that unsightly growth. I'm really not sure when I'm going to remove the sunflowers growing in some of the pots, I've seen no negative effects yet. I could flip group 1 into flower if I wanted, the canopy is level and beautiful, however group 2 will take a while longer to fill a canopy. [ Grow Details ] Plant Count: 64 (Clones) Mother Age: 17 Months Strain: Gelat.OG (Phenotype 5) Breeder: Seedsman Hunter: OnlyTomatoes Veg Time: 3-5 Weeks Flower Time: 65 Days Training: Multiple Toppings Final Pot Size: 5 gal (Fabric) [ Room Details ] Room Size: 21'x9'x11' (190sqft, 2100cuft) Canopy Size: 10'x9' and 5'x9' (135sqft) Lighting: Grower's Choice ROI-E720 x6 (dimmed to 25% power during veg) Cooling: Cooper&Hunter 36k BTU Minisplit Dehumidification: Quest 225 Equipment Controllers: TrolMaster (Lighting, Cooling, and Dehumidification controls), AutoPilot (C02 Controls) Watering System: Manually controlled drip irrigation, x2 1gph drip emitters per pot [ Pre-Veg ] These poor clones have lived an abused life during 2021, sitting around in solo cups for over 2 months waiting for a new home. Normally I would never allow pre-veg plants to have such obvious deficiencies, but constant hand watering led to some poor nutrient decisions on my part. They've been in their final pots for a few days now and were topped on day 0 of veg. I plan on lowering the lights to 18"-24" within canopy around day 3, I'm just allowing some extra time for the roots to really dig in. I've found that a batch of dirt that was used had sunflower seeds in it, possibly winter food storage from an outside rodent, so I'm debating how long I will let these sunflower seedlings grow alongside my plants. They do make a good cover crop with amazing root systems, I just don't think that really applies in pots of this size where plants can choke each other out.

Indoor growers should obtain between 400 - 500 gr/m2 while plants cultivated outdoors will produce slightly more at 500 - 600 gr/m2. Lateral branching is very good and it is recommended to use supports/ties to prevent snapping and keep buds close to the light source. This strain's scent is sweet and fruity with candy and berry notes. Its high-THC has been measured at between 21 - 24% with less than 1% CBD. I'm beginning to flush the Seedsman Zkittlez Auto now giving it straight well water that's ph'd to 6.5-6.7 @ 70-72℉ and turning her pot 1/4 turn daily. 1/19- The Zkittlez Auto was watered until runoff yesterday with well water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 70℉ and her pot was turned. This lady is looking absolutely AMAZING now with HUGH colas that are super frosty! 1/21- I didn't water yesterday, today I realized that because our RH has dropped into the 30's that she'd dry out faster, and today she was wilting 😶. I'm not too concerned as the stress will do nothing but force her to up her trichome production. I went ahead and flooded her pot until I had a good runoff with well water that's ph'd to 6.6 @ 71℉ and gave her pot a turn. Four hours later when I checked on her, she had already perked back up and looked much better! Her fade is coming on strong now and I anticipate placing her in the dark for 72 hours within 4-5 more days, after which she'll be ready to hang to dry! 1/23- I gave the Zkittlez Auto a healthy flush today with well water that I ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. Her trichomes are 80% milky now and I anticipate her being ready anytime so I've been checking her trichomes daily to hit that 'sweet spot' if possible. Well, eight weeks of flowering on the books and this beauty is just about done! The Seedsman Zkittlez Auto will be finished up in the next couple of days and then will go 'dark' for 72 hours before I hang her to begin the drying/curing process! Don't have a lot of time these days to take pics so I'll sum things up. CO2 got outta control and the plants took tf off literally. The video is around middle of week 3, I had to flip at week 4 BC I literally ran out of room and I had to constantly defoliate.

So I removed it... don’t think she gonna make it... so much rain no sun.... amazing smell when visiting her But got a new problem I just discovered there’s a human path.... not far from the place I can see them they can’t see me... yet.... maybe try make some oil on here. She already really sticky

Harvest on day 72 for this Northern Lights auto by Seedsman. Yield was not a priority as I messed up my watering schedule. Overall pretty happy with this plant, buds are super dense and sticky, great citrus smell when you break up the buds, tastes really smooth and also sweet. Lovely night time smoke. Great strain by Seedsman!

Plants are doing well. Watering roughly once weekly continues to be the current schedule. In this week's watering (week 6, Thursday), a nutrient mix was added (19% Nitrogen, 5% Phosphate, 20% K2O). pH was measured (via the runoff/drainage water collected) on all three plants using a pH probe, of which was measured to be slightly acidic for all plants (exact pH numbers above in the photo descriptions). We are aiming for a pH range of 6.0-7.0, so in next week's watering, we will add a buffer solution to alkalize the soil. All three plants lower branches were also pruned.

Hello Growmies, As we conclude the sixth week with our Epic Buzz plants in the Tent-X Ultimate Grow Showdown, we've seen substantial growth and faced some climatic challenges head-on. The plants have thrived under a regimen of defoliation, lollipopping, and scrogging, developing into robust specimens ready for the flowering stage. The extended watering intervals and the consistent application of our chosen nutrient blend, Alga Grow, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, have supported their vigorous development, ensuring they are well-nourished and hydrated. However, managing the environmental conditions, particularly during the night, has presented some hurdles. The recent introduction of a custom-built extraction box has been our latest strategy to combat the high humidity levels we've been battling during the lights-off period. This innovative solution has shown promising results, offering a more controlled grow atmosphere by extracting humid air directly outside, preventing it from lingering in the lung area of our setup. Despite this improvement, the integration of the Mars Hydro fan with the Tent-X system remains unresolved, leading to less than ideal fluctuations in our VPD levels. The lack of support from Mars Hydro, Secret Jardin, and even TrolMaster in providing clear guidance for this integration has been a stumbling block. We're considering a shift back to the reliable Prima Clima system, known for its seamless compatibility and ease of use. In the spirit of community and shared growth, we're reaching out for any advice on connecting a 5-phased PWM motor to the TrolMaster controller. The collective wisdom of this community has always been a guiding light, and any insights would be greatly appreciated. The resilience of the Epic Buzz plants, their lush canopies, and strong structures speak volumes of their potential as we edge closer to the flowering phase. Day 99 - Ripening week in DWC a. pumped out the Flowering blend, and installed the Ripen b. this plant is certainly a small bush like FastBuds claimed c. I can see how this would be perfect for SOG d. Her pistils are all almost colored, and the trichomes are milky Day 100 a. I always love using Ripen, it works so well b. first day, already notice the top of the buds filling out more c. her life is coming to an end. she will get this week to ripen, then next week we will flush/chop d. growing in DWC makes the ripening and flushing mush faster than other substrates Day 101 - the purple is setting in a. looks like they are ripening up fast, the purple is getting darker and the buds harder Day 102 - ripening really nice, the smell is quite intense a. she is smelling up our barn, we dont have a filter b. Ripen always makes the buds very hard, she is drinking a L a day right now in the end. Day 104 - incredible smell a. this is finally smelling pungent like kush, well kushy haze b. sampled a small top bud, its killer c. Will be cutting down in a few days Day 105 - ripe a. the buds are ripe, I will gradually start the flush before harvest b. will give them 1 or 2 more days of ripen formula, then flush with Florakleen for a day

Day 45 in flower... Trichomes are about 80% milk and no amber... The paint and big Z are 7-9 weekers and orange cake is 9-10... Def few weeks on the orange cake... But getting close to how I like it on the other two... The smells are outta this world... Orange cake smells like orange cake... Very orange like it's nuts... Never smelt anything like it tbh... The paint is a different pheno than previous ones because there's usually a chemical skunk smell but this is a fruity pebble smell with layers of earth smell and a sticky presence that doesn't go away for a long time lol... The big Z is another sweet smelling but more along the smell of a mouth full of Skittles and that dirt earth smell aftertones... They're awesome and I'm really excited! Day 46 They fattened up over night! Coming to n end... I did find little clusters of amber trichomes on the paint and I can't find many clear on the big Z... So it's right where I want it!

Day 44: everything is going fine and I give these 2 girls different nutes for now! I give the other one 2.6ml/l canna a/b and no boost accelerator. This is the light that I’m using for this grow! Mars hydro SP3000 High PPFD at 2.8 umol/j, average yield at 2.5g/w, increasing your yield 50% or more compared with old blurple and HPS lights, 300 watts output. Dimmer knob added, more convenient to adjust the brightness.
