BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. Week 8! I've seen some challenges leading up to this point so far, with Plant #2 showing the results of what insanely high EC levels can do and how important it can be to know what's going in to the soil and what's coming out. Luckily, things seem to be straightening out and both plants are putting on bud weight. Day 50: - did some very light defoliation, removing a few fan leaves that were blocking bud sites on both plants. - the smell is starting to get much stronger than it was last week. Day 51: - watered with a 310ppm nutrient solution, using 3ml of Remo's Bloom nutrients + GH's CaliMagic per gallon of dechlorinated (by aeration) tap water. Day 52: - nothing to report Day 53: - tent temperatures reached a bit higher than normal due to warmer outside temperatures. 80F instead of 78F, for approximately 8hrs. Day 54: - Plant #2 has an extremely sweet smell, sort of like grape. - Plant #1 is smells similar but not quite as sweet and not quite as much grape. Day 55: - Probably should have watered today but we're leaving it one more day. Day 56: - watered with plain, dechlorinated (by aeration) tap water. - used small amount of bloom nutrients to adjust pH from 7.1 to 6.4, resulting in a weak 55ppm nutrient solution. - watered to runoff (maybe 10%). - Plant #2 runoff testing at 6.3 pH and 1850ppm, which is higher than we expected. - did some light foliage trimming, mostly on plant #2, to remove dead and mostly-dead leaves.

QUESTION: I've been using a 200W LED which is supposed to replace a 400W HPS. She draws actual 200W. Should I now put the wattage used to 200W or 400W ? ? ? ? ? ------------------------ What started as as a 'just for fun' - project turned out to be my longest going grow ever. I cut her down yesterday when it was still 2017. Today it's 2018! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! For the ones wondering why it took 27 weeks: I started under a very small 50W bulb as it was only a just fun project so she vegged for ages. She would have been way faster if I grew her under normal conditions ;) The wet weight is 384 with the branches still on like in the hanging pictures. I only cut the bigger fan leaves off. Haven't smoked it yet so I just put it to 50/50 sat/ind -> smoke report to be updated... :) _________ After trimming, cutting and drying I got 54 grams on the scale. Well, I'm a bit dissapointed considering the outcome in grams but I think the quality is quite ok this time. Smoke report to follow soon... ;)

She's moving along into flower and I've started using a little bloom nutes now that the stretch is tapering off. Took off a few fan leaves that were blocking some bud sites and removed some lower growth that wouldn't make much more than underdeveloped larf. She's definitely crowded in the tent, but she's continuing to go through her paces and should stay on track. She's starting to effervesce and it's a sweet earthy note with a more skunky stem rub. Lets see where this week takes us!

Another good week in the bag. The girls are getting water every day. The shortest one drinks the most. Interesting. They have a sugary smell to them. It's hard to describe. I'll be interested in the final smell. I decided to bust out the microacope and to my surprise the trichomes are pretty milky already! It's only been five weeks! Will monitor to see the amber but still for this early! Started using the UVB! Started at 30 minutes for a few days. Now at one hour. The tests started at two hours at three weeks out which would be now. So gonna increase tomorrow another thirty and continue to ramp up.

Hello. This is the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of flowering. I think, after this week, I'll "not" close the tent at night. I've read that around the 50th degree latitude a plant will stay in flower if it is kept in dark for 3 weeks and put out after the summer solstice June 21st. As long as the light is getting less at night the plants will stay in flowering... So, 1 week to go and I'll leave the tent open. The buds are bulking up now. Smells like tropical skunk in and around the greenhouse. Won a runner up prize in a Ganja Farmers photo contest and for my prize I'll get, 3 seeds of Kush Mints, 3 of Animal Cookies and 3 of Gorilla Gelato. 2 mostly indica and 1 hybrid. Seed descriptions said they are strong. Oh Boy... OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

Wow, another week done. It's become an absolute jungle in my greenhouse. A few of the GG4/Sherbets tops had to be mainlined since they're hitting the top of the greenhouse at 7ft8in tall. The smell is definitely getting stronger every day and it goes from super pungent, to sweet, to almost tropical. They're all still looking nice and healthy. The Athena Blended Line works wonders with my well water as the plants couldn't be happier. All in all Happy Growing.
