Week 1 of Veg is officially in the books! It worked out perfectly that this update falls right on a Sunday. Everyone’s in weekend mode, and I actually have the time to sit down and update the diary. What happened so far: September 6th – The Transfer Transferred the sprouted seedlings into the Spider Farmer DWC buckets. Each bucket was filled with 17 liters of water (exactly reaching the bottom of the net pots). For the base water, I used RO water re-mineralized with Canna Mono CaO (1.2 ml / 5L) and MgO (0.8 ml / 5L) up to a base EC of 270 µS/cm. You may ask why single mono-nutrients instead of premixed CalMag. The reason is simply that I grow other plant species that require completely different Ca:Mg ratios than cannabis. Using single elements gives me total control to fix a specific deficiency (like Calcium) on the fly without unnecessarily bumping up Magnesium. Also added Canna Aqua nutrients (Vega A+B) and Rhizotonic according to the feeding chart to hit an initial target EC of 1.2 mS/cm (1200 µS/cm). Set the initial pH to 5.5. Substrate Choice: Pumice over Clay Pebbles Instead of expanded clay (hydroton), I’m using pumice in the net pots. Why you ask: Immediate Nutrient Availability: Pumice holds water and oxygen exceptionally well. The roots get immediate access to nutrients the moment they grow out of the rockwool cube—gaining a couple of crucial days before they even touch the main reservoir. Another reason is Algae Control: Its dense structure blocks light penetration much better than clay pebbles, keeping the reservoir dark and free of algae. Lighting & Tent Constraints Set the Lumatek ATS 300W Pro (dimmed to 25%) at 50 cm (20") above the bucket tops, giving a PPFD of 300 µmol/m²/s. Tent Layout Note: Space is tight inside an 80x80x180 cm setup (that's roughly 31.5" x 31.5" x 70.8" for my imperial friends). The DWC buckets take up 40 cm (~16") of vertical space, and I expect a decent stretch (plus I'm still figuring out if 1-handed mainlining is doable! Maybe I have to change the Diary title to not-so-lazy grow). To maximize headroom, I mounted the inline fan and carbon filter completely outside the tent so the LED can go as high as needed later on. Daily Log & Water Chemistry: Sept 7: pH crept up to 6.2 (expected as the pumice settles in). Adjusted back down to 5.5. Sept 8: Minor pH drift to 6.1 → corrected to 5.5. Sept 9: pH at 5.9 → adjusted to 5.6. Measured EC spiked slightly from 1200 to 1300 µS/cm due to minerals leaching from the washed pumice. Top-up with re-mineralized RO water brought it right back to 1200 µS/cm. Both seedlings sitting happy at 2 cm height. Sept 10: pH adjusted from 5.8 to 5.5. Raised the LED to 59 cm (23") above the buckets (reducing PPFD to 260 µmol/m²/s). The initial 300 PPFD kept them from stretching early on, resting at 2.5 cm (1") height. Sept 11: Reservoir stabilized! pH held firm with no adjustments needed. Sept 12: Small pH correction from 5.7 back down to 5.5. Sept 13 (End of Week 1): Minor pH adjustment from 5.7 back down to 5.5. Plants are showing great progress and healthy leaf development—leaf span measured at ~5 cm (2") on Plant 1 and ~6 cm (2,4") on Plant 2. Both have a height of 3 cm (~1.2"). Ready for Week 2!

The first half of pictures are before defoliating a little second half after Just chopped the one pictured above 1.27.18 Aromas are very strong and I would describe it as earthy and pine trees with chem like undertones that will raise the fuzz on ur peaches real quick. The buds packed on the weight in the past two weeks and bulked up heavily. The stalk is built like a brick shithouse even the side branches are holding up easily. On the smaller side due to some training but I expect a decent yield as the lowers on her are pretty developed. Rinsed with R/O H20 after chop mostly to retain moisture and drying at 58%-62% /68°f. Pumped the way this one turned out will update harvest when final numbers can be logged.

started to flower this week i dont think im getting a big yield but at least i nailed the nutrients and the plant didnt show any deficiencies (yet)

A-Day 60, B&C Day 56 A is fattening up! She never did stretch, but then again I had her tied and splayed pretty far out. She has been thirsty, I have been feeding a dose close to 1000 ppm every other feed which has been every other day for her. During the lower feeds, ppm has been around 400. Her tricomes are mostly clear, with some cloudy starting to show. She still has a couple of weeks to go. B- is going to be a producer! She has so many tips and they are all fattening and developing at about the same rate, she is going to be a beast! Did a defoliation on her, she is appreciating the extra light penetration 😎💨 C- Has stretched up and out! If she stacks as tight as the other two, she will probably be the one with the most weight. Her branches are the tallest and reaching up at least 4-6 inches past both her sisters. I tied her down lightly to allow light to get through, we’ll see how she goes.

Started LST on both girls don’t think i did it right it begin with lol. This is when i noticed the burnt tips of the ladies. This was a scary moment for any new grower. Freakin suckedddd

I chopped at day 84 for 20% amber and I chopped them down. Day 70 was all cloudy. Wonderfully chonky and DENSE buds! Terps are loud with a fruity, berry, cream with some slight gas. Can’t wait to try the smoke. Very happy with this strain and Pheno..

Maintenance week! All reservoirs, lines, and trays cleaned. EC is at 2.5 to accommodate the sheer size of the plants. This 4 x 8 tent is full! This weekend I will be cleaning and trimming all of the plants below the canopy. Lots of flower sites on these healthy plants explaining the strong smell. This week I decided to try add General Hydroponics Flora Nectar to the nutrient regiment, hoping it improves the quality of terpenes and taste. Will be starting to order new seeds in the next week or two to start the perpetual harvest I will be running a sativa, indica, and CBD mix.

I stretched the purple punch a bit further than usual, but love plant Strong stems so train early., Next grow I will actively lollipop a bit more but overall I'm happy.. Very consistent nugs

Hi growers 👌🏻🍁 This week I’ve had a few slight more issues this run hasn’t been the best so far. But I’m hoping if I can just up my feed as each watering I’m feeding the ppm are only at 450ppm 1ml grow 3ml bloom 2ml top max 4ml heaven 4ml actavira In a 5litre bottle - every 3 days I’ve had a few herm on me - which has been a bit of a disappointing, it just tells me my rooms not dialled in at all. Few more issues to fix next run. All the pink runts autos that finished flowering dried for 1 half weeks then went into canna butter. If anyone can give me a message or comment of anything I can do to try fix these girls I would appreciate it ✌️🏻🍁

For these interactions, we found a series (scale) of resonant notes: The first two notes show a perfect relationship with each other. Their frequencies (pitch) are in the ratio of 1.618…, which is the golden ratio famous from art and architecture.” Radu Coldea is convinced that this is no coincidence. “It reflects a beautiful property of the quantum system — a hidden symmetry. Actually, quite a special one called E8 by mathematicians, and this is its first observation in a material,” he explains.” The E8 structure itself has relationships to Phi (1.618).

💙 Project Blue Tent – Week 3 Blue Waffle F1 – Pheno B (Folder 13B) Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from Project Blue Tent! For those joining this journey for the first time, this project follows four individual Blue Waffle F1 plants from Zamnesia, each documented in its own diary from seed to harvest. Although they all share the exact same environment, nutrients, and growing conditions, every plant is allowed to tell its own story and reveal its own unique expression. Everything in this tent is built around the Zamnesia ecosystem, while the ladies are growing inside Plagron Premium Coco Growbags and being fed exclusively with the Plagron Hydro nutrient line. Today we’re taking a closer look at Blue Waffle F1 – Plant B. ⸻ 🌱 Week Three – Building Momentum Week three has been another very encouraging one. Plant B has settled beautifully into her coco home and has noticeably increased her pace of growth throughout the week. She began this update as a compact young plant, but over the last several days she’s filled out nicely, producing larger fan leaves and noticeably stronger apical growth. Her structure remains short and sturdy, with tight internodal spacing and excellent symmetry. The side branches are beginning to develop with confidence, giving an early indication that she’ll produce a well-balanced canopy in the weeks ahead. One detail that immediately catches my attention is how vigorous the newest growth appears. Every day the center becomes denser, showing that the roots are now well established and supporting increasingly rapid development. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Conditions One of the goals with Project Blue Tent is consistency. The entire ecosystem continues to perform exactly as intended, maintaining a stable environment throughout the week while the Phytonaut LED provides an even light distribution across the canopy. Average conditions this week were: * 🌡️ Day temperature: 27°C * 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C * 💧 Relative humidity: 67% * ⚗️ pH: 5.8 * ⚡ EC: 1.61 mS/cm * 💨 CO₂: approximately 450 ppm * 💡 Light schedule: 18/6 * ☀️ PPFD: approximately 350 At this intensity the plants receive plenty of energy to encourage compact vegetative growth without unnecessary stretching, while the stable environment allows them to focus entirely on developing healthy roots and foliage. ⸻ 🥥 Feeding Adjustments Coming from years of growing almost exclusively in living soil, growing in coco has definitely become an enjoyable learning experience. This week all four plants began showing a slightly lighter shade of green than I normally like to see. Nothing dramatic or concerning, but enough to tell me they were ready for a little more nutrition. Instead of waiting for deficiencies to develop, I prefer making gradual adjustments before the plants begin struggling. For that reason I increased the base feeding schedule. Current nutrition now consists of: * Plagron Hydro A — 1.6 ml/L * Plagron Hydro B — 1.6 ml/L * Plagron Hydro Roots — maintained at the previous dosage This small increase raised the EC slightly and should provide enough additional nitrogen and overall nutrition for the foliage to regain a richer green over the coming week. Every grow teaches something new, and coco rewards small, measured corrections rather than aggressive changes. ⸻ 🚿 The Unexpected Flood No grow is ever completely free of surprises. This week mine arrived in the form of an irrigation mishap. After switching on the irrigation system, one small mistake resulted in the tent flooding far more than planned. Thankfully, it looked much worse than it actually was. The first step was simply shutting everything down, grabbing a pile of towels, cleaning the tent thoroughly and checking that every component was still working correctly. Fortunately, because these plants are growing in coco, the situation remained under control. Coco retains excellent oxygen levels even after heavy watering, making it much more forgiving than traditional soil in situations like this. After allowing everything to dry back slightly, normal irrigation resumed without any visible stress to the plants. Sometimes growing isn’t about avoiding mistakes. It’s about solving them calmly when they happen. We’re already working on a permanent improvement for the irrigation setup, and I’ll happily share that solution once everything is installed in the coming weeks. ⸻ 🌿 Blue Waffle F1 – Plant B This phenotype is developing into a very attractive little plant. She has a sturdy central stem, broad leaves, and compact spacing between nodes, giving her a naturally bushy appearance even without any training. The petioles are beginning to show subtle reddish-purple pigmentation, while the newest leaves emerge with beautiful vigor before gradually maturing into the larger fan leaves. Although her colour is still a touch lighter than my personal preference, her posture tells the real story. Leaves are reaching upward. Growth is continuous. The plant looks happy. Sometimes plants communicate much more through their posture than through their colour alone, and Plant B certainly appears eager to keep growing. ⸻ 🔍 Looking Ahead Next week should be an exciting milestone. With the feeding now adjusted and the roots continuing to colonize the entire growbag, I expect noticeably faster vegetative growth and stronger lateral branching. I’ll continue monitoring leaf colour, growth rate and overall structure while preparing these ladies for the next stage of development. Sometimes you only discover how valuable a piece of equipment is when something goes wrong—and this week, the tray passed that test with flying colours. Plucked a few leaves that were looking at me funny ;) Not much to do! Smells of sweet berries, after a fresh rainfall.. Smells amazing! Watered with 2.5 gallons of the above listed nutrients, every 5-6 days. (when the soil becomes 95% dry) 10% of the solution watered runs out the bottom of the pot, and is removed with a wet-vacuum.

Our beauty is now 9 weeks old and is in full bloom, delighting us with her appearance and aroma. Her buds are getting covered in a thick layer of fragrant trichomes, and the air is filled with a pleasant fruity scent—promising a wonderful finish. The climate in the tent remains stable: daytime temperature is 28°C, nighttime drops to 21°C, and humidity is kept at 65%. The light schedule is still 12/12, and we continue using CO2 to support the flowering process. We’re also consistently feeding her with Xpert Nutrients, which provide everything she needs during this critical stage. A huge thank you to Xpert Nutrients for their top-quality fertilizers that drive such vigorous flowering, and to Seeds Mafia for the amazing genetics that gave us this strong and aromatic beauty. We’re eagerly looking forward to the moment she fully ripens and rewards us with a great harvest!
