At the beginning of week 7 of flower she started to fade. Her leafs started to get dark purple starting at the bottom. At the end of week 7 of flower there were first signs of amber trichomes on the top buds. I will wait until the lower buds are mostly cloudy before harvesting.

harvested some of the top buds due to much humidity and risk of budrot 6 days ago. The rest I harvested 2 days ago. Will edit the next weeks when it all dried up.

Ok starting to look nice. I’ve realised my TDS meter calculates a low ppm given the EC therefore I’ve been thinking my PPMs are lower than they probably have been thus the burning leaves. From now on I’m going to use the EC reading of my meter as that is what it actually measures. I’m not sure how long left as this is my first plant. I have a handheld microscope I can use to check the crystals but there don’t seem to be any good spots to get in and use it on easily at the moment, I don’t want to damage the buds too bad. Finaly made a rig that allowed me to raise my light even more as it was too close and I had run out of room to go higher. Its been a funny plant a far as I can tell. Took a long time to flower but is pretty large and seems pretty healthy. Keen for the harvest. 😀 A few weeks ago I changed my nutrient ratios to the ones fourth last on the chart (B...) in the photo and have used it at a watered down rate for the plant. When I attempted to defoliate her I guess I got too close to the main vein and killed the 8th branch, shitty. 7 tops it is The only video for all my diaries, don't have the time to wait for it to upload the video to every diary. Pretty disappointed in my strawberry but maybe she just wasn't the gal for me. She has one branch that never fully recovered from defoliating her. I'll try again next grow but maybe super-cropping and topping her is a better training route. I'm excited and kind of worried to see what kind of colas I get from a 9 week old plant plant with only 2 nodes on each branch. Please stretch...

I'm in love with the structure on this sugar cane. She takes training easily and has developed a beautiful canopy of tops without much effort. It's almost like she just knows what I want her to do. Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

Just watching them grow :) nothing special to add. I was considering flushing one plant this week, as I mentioned in my last post, but to be frank I didn't consider the actual flowering time and just wanted everything to be as fast as possible, which is not a good thing on my part. Now I'll feed them 1 or maybe 2 weeks longer (depending on the plant, as I'm trying to give them at least 5-6 weeks of flower (the recommended time for flower for this strain from what I can gather). I would love to hear your opinions on this. Thanks for stopping by and happy growing 🌿😁

What's up growmies 🤟🏽 Week number 4 is in the books🙌🏾 Today marks the official start of week 5 and just like my previous grows all my autos are starting to preflower. Like clockwork it starts around week 5 so it lets me know these are right on schedule. I am really focusing on keeping the main cola ties down to keep the canopy as even as possibly. Typically in the past I would stop tying them down during flowering and the main cola would outgrow the rest and dominate. This grow I am continuously tying the main cola down. They all are pretty even except for Caramelicious, her main cola is just a stud and won't bend to 180 w/o me snapping the main stalk. She still is my favorite though and it's my 7th time growing her (I plant at least 1 Caramelicious each grow) The nutrient schedule remains the same. I am feeding them General Hydroponics Flora series. (Floragro, FloraMacro, FloraBloom) I am mixing what the manufacturer recommends for 1 gallon into 3 gallons, so I'm giving roughly 1/3rd what's recommended and it seems to be the sweet spot for my set up and environment. All the plants are doing well and are not showing any signs of stress, deficiency, or toxicity at this point. The weather here in VA has been pretty cold which makes it perfect humidity wise for my indoor grow, without having to blast my Cloud intake system, or even turn on the dehumidifier which won't last long because they are starting to flower and will take up more volume increasing humidity so I expect to have to use them both in the next few weeks. It appears a spider has made it's home in my tent (I see webbing in one corner of the tent) I figured it'll take care of pests for me and is not harmful so I am leaving it be for now. All in all everything is going well so far, fingers crossed. That is it for now, until next time, Happy Growing and like always May the grow goddesses bless you all with a bountiful harvest!

Well it's safe to say the foop will work with legit strong good bacteria! But the focus has to be on the root health when it comes to how much food you can add and still maintain healthy roots. But the game changer for me has been switching to a air stone, 1st and for most. The recirculation pump suggested by foop when running foop in dwc ran the solution temps into the high 70's around 77°F and anything over 75°F has been where root rot sets in for me. Even switched to way smaller recirculation pump with same results. So switching to running a air stone was big! But also found that running one Vivosun 317GPH Air Pump 15W split to 4 plants was not enough air for the roots to be happy in the foop plants. So I moved to a 2nd air pump, same size per tent. So now it's only split to 2 plants on the foop plants. And that made a big difference! But found after a few weeks that I had to bleed a slight amount of air off because there soo much extra air the humidity was sky rocketing in the tent to high 80%. So there's a sweet spot where they get extra air but not soo much that the humidity is affected. But the 2nd most beneficial thing I've done is start running Orca. It has made such a huge difference. I think I need to go up with how much I'm using or find something that works even better if possible. But the sweet spot now is 8 to 9ml total of each foop veg/bloom 1,2 and sweener. When I go to 12ml with foop 1,2 the roots take a noticeable hit. So idk how I would go to the recommended 20 to 50ml per gallon as suggested on the foop grow chart. I tried going to 10ml foop 1,2 on this one but the roots didn't like it and it shows they have never turned back to a blonde or white color again Currently running around 6 to 10ml orca total per feeding. And adding 2 to 4ml when I add foop 1,2 mid week and got happy roots! Also the Seaweed extract has made a difference in the smell the plant puts off. Last few grows have been really muted with smells and this grow I actually get hit in the face when entering grow room. So has made a difference forsure!! I'm soo excited!! Currently has issues getting the humidity below 55% in the grow room. I was running 6 damprids 1 on intake(outside tent) to tent, one on inside of tent(at inlet) and 1 on exhaust(outside tent) for 2x4 tent and 2 hanging at 4x4 tent exhaust and one hanging by ac unit. That brought it down like 5% over all but now I'm running 12 damprids to try and get the room down humidity in the mid 40's. We will see. The house runs a swamp cooler and that basically makes the whole house pressurized. So even tho I sealed the grooe room door and the window with ac the best i can. it's a uphill battle! Once swamp cooler comes on the humidity in grow room climbs like 10%. So here's to hoping🤞🤞🤞🤞 6/25 added 2L 6/26 added 1.5L, 10ml Seaweed extract, 4ml orca, 4ml foop bloom 1&2, 4ml foop sweener, 3ml cal mag 6/28 added 2L 6/29 added 1.5L 6/30 added 1L, 20ml Seaweed extract 7/1 refreshed, gave 20ml hydroguard, 15ml orca, 25ml Seaweed extract, 9ml foop bloom 1&2. 10ml foop sweener, 6.5ml cal mag Records kept here: https://1drv.ms/x/c/fa218bbdbbfbd064/EelXI2vd0VdDoZBL4JvZ6xMB7lSyddsPGq8FdBGttRAjgg?e=rY8meL 👋👋👋 Hello, Thanks for checking out my grow!! Week 11 Day 71 (15/03/2021): No time to take pics today ✌️ Day 72 (16/03/2021): Looking good but more and more leaves are drying up or turning yellow. But at this point there is definitely no point in stressing the girls by removing them. Although the colours definitely look nice! Day 73 (17/03/2021)💧: Today will be the last watering for the girls so they have a few days to take up the last bits of moisture before harvest. I can’t believe how fast this grow went but I have definitely learned a lot from it. Day 74 (18/03/2021): They look so nice and colourful, definitely an interesting bunch of girls :D Can’t wait for the harvest and cure Day 75 (19/03/2021): No time to take pics today ✌️ Day 76 (20/03/2021): No time to take pics today but harvest day tomorrow!!!! Day 77 (21/03/2021): HARVEST DAY! What a great journey it has been growing these girls. They were so resilient and only started showing symptoms of deficiency in the last few weeks. They are absolutely covered in trichomes and smell very pungent. I think they will be super hard hitters! And it still amazes me how different they all are. Echo is even completely purple! Can’t wait to trim and dry these girls and will definitely make some bubble hash from all the trichomes on the leaves too 🤤 Will follow up with a review soon! (after they’ve cured for a bit)

So outdoors are always so tricky in Illinois. This plant started in mid April when it was warm, then super cold with snow, followed by moderate weather, to be harvested a touch early due to high humidity, drought—followed by days of lots of rain. She suffered bud rot on a few sites and was harvested immediately after to save the rest of the plant. Super frosty, great terps and she survived it all! Literally! Smells like fruit and dough.

I’m a bit stunned by the size of these plants! 😲🌿 Wow, in 7 L pots they are performing really well! 💪🌱 One of my plants had some hermaphrodite flowers early on 🌸⚡, so I did a flush 💦 to stabilize it, and now it’s going full into flowering 🌼🌞. I’ll keep monitoring 👀🔍, but I think it was just a reaction to high PPM in the soil ⚗️🌱. My experience with autos is limited, so I’m exploring methods that work well and give good results! 🌱✨🌿.

Have lights on sunrise sunset. The been testing out best high intensity lighting schedule. Wish I had c02 to add into the tent. Plants were getting 1600-1800 par for 3 hours a day. I noticed they were getting slight tip burn so I lessened the light intensity a little bit and extended the peak sunlight from 4 to 6 hours. Now they get 1300-1400 par for 6 hours a day. They are getting really good air flow, humidity, temperature. I've been replacing the water every 2 days now and topping off almost every day. Just switched the ph from 5.8 to 6.5. I think that's recommended for flowering. Currently they get 2200EC I use ro water. They get 250ec of cal/mag. 400ec of lotus boost and 1400-1600ec lotus Bloom

My Rainbow Melon plant has been a powerhouse from day one! It's always been one of the fastest and strongest growers in the tent. For a while, it was the undisputed champion in terms of size, and it's still neck and neck for second place. This plant is just bursting with vigor, and I'm super excited to see what kind of yield I get from it. It's got that classic Rainbow Melon aroma – sweet and fruity with a hint of earthiness. It's gonna be a good one! This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!

Still going strong...she seems always pretty happy, no color on her with the shift in temperature. Few more days and she'll become the first chop of the run.
