Started germinating her in a paper towel on 8 Aug and taproot was out on 10 Aug so moved her into the humidity dome and jiffy pellet and she was up and out today.
Day 1 - I moved her into her 3 gallon pot and the tent today. Gave her a light foliar spray and misted the soil. Just letting her do her thing for now and waiting for her to start developing her first set of leaves.
Day 2 - All looking well, her first set up serrated leaves have formed and just letting her continue on. Just giving her a light daily foliar spray and a light mist of water on the top layer of soil.
Day 4 - All going good and she’s looking gorgeous. Just continuing with a light foliar spray and giving the soil a light mist.
Day 5 - All going good still and just gave her another foliar spray and misted the top layer of soil. No issues so far but is getting a bit leggy so lowered the light just a bit.
Day 6 - Still nothing to speak of today, seems like the stretching slowed a bit, that’s what I was looking for. Just gave her another foliar spray and misted the soil a bit.
Day 7 - The end of week 1 and getting a bit stretchy again so lowered the light just a bit and gonna add a little more soil to the pot tomorrow.
Day 8 - Starting week 2 today and she’s a bit flimsy so added a bit more soil to her pot and it’s pretty much filled to the brim now. Put her up on a little stool as well so she’s about 10 inches from the light now and since the humidity is where I want it in the tent, I took her little cover off so now the fan can help strengthen her up.
Day 10 - Went and gave her about 100ML’s of plain water and a very light foliar spray. Received a new light from Unit Farm to test and it’s hooked up and running and looks like this thing will do some work. It’s the Unit Farm UFS3000 so we’ll see how it does for this girl.
Day 12 - All looks good and she’s really seeming to like the new light so nothing to complain about at the moment. Just gave her a light foliar spray and a light spray of the soil.
Day 13 - Nothing major going on, just waiting for her lower growth to really start going and then start some LST, hopefully by around day 21. Gave her a foliar spray today and will probably start giving a bit more water and gradually stop the foliar spray.
Day 15 - Starting week 3 and overall still looking good but a slight droop going on and looks like she’s ready for some actual water instead of foliar sprays so gave her about 2-3 cups pH’d to 6.7. We’ll see how she’s doing tomorrow.
Day 16 - She was looking a hell of a lot better today and standing tall so decided she was ready to start training. Tied her down tonight and we’ll see how she recovers tomorrow.
Day 19 - Continued with the LST today and gave her half a gallon of water with Cal-Mag, pH’d 6.7. All going well, just hoping her lower stuff starts getting good growth now.
Day 20 - Did a little more LST with her today and removed one fan leaf. She really seems to go through some nice growth spurts right after a watering.
Day 22 - Starting week 4 and continued with the LST and removed 3 or 4 big fan leaves. Hopefully I’ll be able to tie out the lower stuff soon. Gave her a gallon and a half of water with Cal-Mag, pH’d to 6.7. This girl is definitely a drinker so decided on 1.5 gallons instead of 1.
Day 27 - All looking good and starting to get some nice growth going and starting to throw some pistils out, so continuing with the LST so she’s set up for flower. Gave her a gallon of plain water today and will be ready for a round of nutes next watering.
Day 29 - Starting week 5 and probably her last week of veg, she’s throwing out a ton of pistils now and should be going into flower soon. LST is still continuing and she’s shaping up nicely. Not getting a whole lot of stretch so moved the lights up a bit to 20 inches. She’s still good on water and will get a round of nutes next watering.
Day 31 - She’s really coming alive now and had to continue with some LST today to try and keep her down a bit. Might let her start stretching from here on out. She’ll be ready for some water tomorrow and will be giving her the first round of bloom nutes from FOOPCanna.
Day 32 - Gave her some water today and first round of bloom nutes from FOOPCanna, we’ll see how she likes it. Screwed up and only gave her a half dose this time, they recommend full dose so we’ll see either way. Did a little adjusting to her tie downs and that’s about it today.
Day 34 - Did a little more with her training today and I think she’s set up for the stretch and full flower now. Might have to do some minor adjustments here and there but that’s about it. Just did a little leaf tucking with her as well and she’s good on water for a couple more days.
Day 37 - Into week 6 now and officially her first full week of flower. She’s definitely been stretching quite a bit now and pretty much done with LST but will still do some minor adjustments when needed. She was ready for water today so got a full gallon of water and a full dose of nutes today. The nute schedule says to use every watering for soil but will stick to every other, otherwise I’d be using too much too quick and want to make sure I have enough for the entire grow to see how it does.
Day 39 - Nothing much new today, she’s still stretching quite a bit, a little over four and a half inches the past 36 hours or so. Just waiting for the stretch to stop and her to start packing the buds on.
Day 41 - She MIGHT be finally starting to slow down on the stretch but we shall see. She was ready for water today so gave her a gallon of plain water with cal-mag only, pH’d to 6.6. Ready for her to start filling in with her buds now.
Day 43 - Starting week 7 and not a whole lot to speak of right now but she’s definitely starting to slow down on the stretch now and buds are starting to develop. She should be ready for water and nutes on Saturday.
Day 45 - All is good and still doing a bit of stretching and needed to give her some water yesterday and got a round of nutes as well.
Day 46 - Nothing much happening today, just took her out for some updated pictures. She’s starting to add some frost and looking forward to her starting to put her smell out, very light smell right now.
Day 47 - She definitely was ready for water today so I upped the intake a bit and gave her a gallon and a half of water with cal-mag, pH’d to 6.5. She’s doing some stretching still so hoping that’ll stop soon and she’ll really start focusing of bud making.
Day 48 - Nothing new to update today, she did stretch another inch the last 24 hours though. Other than that, she’s good on water and nutes for now.
Day 50 - Starting week 8 today and looks like the stretching has finally come to a slow and she’s starting to work on her buds a bit more. Other than that, just did some leaf tucking and gave her a gallon of water and nutes today.
Day 53 - All still coming along nicely and not a whole lot happening right now. I did give here a gallon and a half of water with Cal-Mag and we’ll as did a little defoliating of dead or dying leaves towards the bottom.
Day 55 - She’s almost ready for more water so gonna up the intake to a gallon and a half tomorrow and she’s good on nutes so just water and cal-mag. It’s been 2 days since the last update and she only grew about .3 inches so I think the stretching is finally done and now time for bud work.
Day 57 - Beginning week 9 with a gallon and a half of water and nutes. It’s looking like some of the taller cola leaves are getting a little sunburned so raised up the lights just a bit. May be starting to develop some sort of deficiency but hopefully not. Other than that, she’s still building up buds and starting to smell a bit stronger now.
Day 61 - Looking like she’s definitely got some sort of deficiency and adding a bit of cal-mag to the water, normally that helps so we’ll see. She is pretty far along so may be finishing up but hopefully not because she’s definitely not really filled in, so time will tell. Gave her a gallon of water today and upped the dosage of nutes.
Day 62 - Nothing much of an update today, other than pictures. She’s chugging right along and hopefully the nutes and cal-mag helps her out cause I don’t think she’s really close to being done but definitely a lot of yellowing leaves. The pH is good so not really sure right now but cal-mag normally fixes my issues when my girls start to look like this.
Day 64 - Starting week 10 and she is definitely coming to a finish and sure that’s what the yellowing is. She’s not just big colas but the buds she has are already pretty tight, most of them, and pistils are starting to brown as well. Hardly seeing any clear trichs except some of the lower fluff buds so I’ll probably give her another week and a half or so, then do a partial harvest and try and get some of the lower stuff to tighten up. She got a gallon and a half of just plain water tonight.
Day 67 - Gave her a gallon of plain water today and just waiting for her to tell me she’s done. Looking at her, I’ll probably give her 2 more weeks or so but if I get 20% amber before that, so be it.
Day 69 - She’s getting close to getting the axe. I didn’t see very many clear trichs throughout but only a handful of amber. I won’t chop her until I get about 20% amber so if it takes her a couple day to a couple weeks, I’ll wait her out.
Day 70 - End of another week and this is it for her, I’m gonna chop her either tomorrow or Friday. She’s at about 15% amber so pretty close to where I want her. Just gonna let her finish using up the bit of water in the soil and she’s done.
This strain took really well to LST and didn’t seem fazed by the training at all. She did become a really heavy drinker about two weeks or so into flower and she definitely seemed to want more nutes than usual. I believe I’ve got two more seeds so will be running this one again if the smoke is worth it.
