Day 22 and 23: Going easy breezy so far!! I released some ladybugs in my tents on these Chocolate Mint OG's 21st day. So far so good lol. Last night when I watered I gave a little real growers recharge to help with the recent transplant (it definitely gave them a boost!) Its mid summer here in MI and 84+ temps 😬 keeping the house and tents cool has been a challenge to say the least. Thankfully all my plants are in Veg and seem to like the heat. Except the Choc Mint.they are showing mild heat stress on the top fan leaves(at least that's my guess) Tent temps have been around 86 down to 84 daytime. I lowered them so they are 24" from the lights 🤞 hopefully that helps. Other than that, no problems. And some generally happy plants! The recharge and soil combo burned them a very little bit as well. Day 25&26 Nothing too eventful. I watered #2 on day 25. With some real growers recharge. The stuff is awesome! No nutrients needed if you have good soil! Day 26: snip 2 fan leaves from #2(the topped one) she was getting a little bushy. And tucked the other fans under to promote some lower branch growth. #1 I'm letting roll totally natural unless I clean up lower canopy to prevent pests. Day 27: Plants are doing great! #1 is really getting tall and # 2 is staying short and squat because of the training. We are letting #1 go naturally. These Kritial-K are my absolute favorite in the tent, once this grow is over we may buy sevral packs of this.. they're easy, forgiving and look to be massive producers with a little training.. Verdict is still out on smoke quality but if its anything like our last Kannabia strains, its prob a winner.. 7/6/2021 - Trimmed lower fan leaves as they were being blocked completely, and a few tips were yellowing. - Continuing to lightly bend the upper branches so the lowers can catch up. - Bought some Gaia Green veg + bloom dry fertilizers as I expect I'll be flipping to flower soon. 7/7/2021 - Watered in a little bit of Gaia Green's veg fertilizer. - Foliar fed w/ DIY kelp extract. - Yellowing/browing on a new leaf, can't identify what it is. - Staked down the branches on the upper mains this evening to open her up for more light penetration, she was gettin' real bushy. 7/9/2021 - Trimmed out middle to expose canopy

Last week was a short one, decided to chop them on day 80. Both plants weigh at 800g wet, hoping to get a bit over 100g dry. They could probably go for another week to get fatter, but I was feeling ready looking at the trichomes. Hope the dry slow, I can't get RH above 50% so hoping that won't be so bad.

The next feeding, I added a gallon of tap water to residual and ph to 6,31 temp 69 & PPm 1120. Did the same on 5/14 and 15 using up the remainder of the feed solution. I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. I have been giving good reviews on the AC infinity system. However, during the time I’ve owned this tent (2 yrs), I had to replace the lights twice, fans, humidifier and now the vent twice also. Everything but the tent containment has been replaced. AC infinity does stand by their products, but they are in California, and it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the replacement. This is extremely frustrating at the critical transition to flower for my equipment to fail again. For the time being until a replacement arrives, I pulled the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3 and hooked it up. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This should create a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. I do have 3 circulating fans in the tent to move air around the plants. It looks like growth spurts have slowed and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All of them (6) are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. The tallest #4 &5 and #6 have very light leaves and appear nutrient deficient compared to the shorter phenotypes. Pictures taken later in the week show fading on a few the older leaves. All are receiving the same solution and are in the same soil blend. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I bent one limb and snapped another. The bent one I taped with a splint and the snapped one I medicated manuka honey and wired it back to the main stalk. Leaves look like sativa leaning. I hope FBA2502-2 is a good daytime. I’m getting excited to see what develops in the next month or so. News Break: I’ve been informed that 2502 is FastBuds New Frostbanger and is indica for nighttime. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a sativa to test because I really need a daytime strain. The 2 Blue Cheese plants I just grew are also nighttime. Upon opening the tent, a faint odor was detected, and some stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. Pictures of the puffy buds even show differences. #4 &5 buds hairs are different from the others being crinklier and the others are straighter. Some like #2 &5 are showing frost on the leaves. Wow at the beginning of flower to have that much frost. They are living up to the new strain’s name. I’ve noticed that when I water, sometimes water shoots out of the side holes I the air pots. Little NILLA is finishing her maturation slowly but surely, I am sure the bad bending and absorbing of the cord did slow her down, I cannot afford to do this mistake again, no more noob mistakes shall we? Hehehe Still she is very pretty and I can see tonnes of potential, chunky sticky buds with a strong narcotic smell and good appearance, I took some cuttings and I will take good care of her next time and get to know her better without torturing her!

All of the plants have started to flower already minus one of the Lemon Pies. Although indica she is taking her sweet time and growing unbelievably. 2 of the LSD25s have already started showing an amazing amount of black/red/purple colour on their leaves and flowers 💜💚 We have implemented some super cropping trying to prepare her branches for stacking. LsT as usual. Started using the delta 9 on the ladies too, in decreased dosage, keen to see the effect on autos. So far, mighty impressed with the consistency, vigor and resilience of them all. Slight Thrip issue at the beginning of the week, but an immediate Cannacure Foliar spray seems to have fended them off (for now?) Plenty if wonderful smells already filling up the tent, gonna need that carbon filter on the air out ASAP !

This week about day 46 or so I did a heavy defoliation and some branch bending/LST to get more light to the newly forming bud sites as well as to even out the canopy a little more. She is requesting a little more frequent watering about every 2-3 days and I go until I see run off and I let the run off sit for about 8-12 hrs to allow the medium to absorb as much as it wants then dump off the remaining. I am starting to notice a slight smell now that the flowing has started it’s very earthy and kind of like fresh grass. After adding the Dr earth last week I have not seen any more yellowing of my leaves which is a huge relief. At this point I’m going to be as hands off as I can some simple fan leaf tucking and maybe some branch bending to keep the smaller bud sites open to light as they seem to be swallowed up after a day or two and the fan leaves raise back up. I would like to find Dr earth bloom to add as a top dress either this week or next if I can find it just to give it a little more of a boost. I’m trying to keep this grow as organic as possible and probably will continue to be my niche for every grow going forward until I have it perfectly dialed in. I’m not seeing much more of a stretch and assume this plant will be a little stalky girl I’m hoping the main colas fill out decently and I’m hoping by the next grow I have a better light set up that may help my production of bud sites when she flips to flower. I also plan to start a more detailed journal at home that specifies what days into the grow I do what for better accuracy and to improve future grows.
