RQS Blue Cheese

Hello beautifull people! For this diary im growing Blue Cheese from Royal Queen seeds. I have grown Blue Cheese but never from RQS, so im pretty curious in what pheno's i will get. Im popping 5 seeds but will be keeping 4 plants to flower and will probably give 1 plant away to a friend or so. Probably will be using COB LED for flower but no guarantee yet. As always i just germinate the seeds in a glass of tapwater. Over the years it always gave a great success rate and if i forget for a day or so i dont risk drying the seeds out.

Not much to say other than having a low humidity in the tent which i dont rly mind. 100% succes rate on germination. So far, So good :)

Just got back from family holiday. Not much has changed so far. The girls are happy and healthy. Had a big fan blowing on them bcs i spotted few little flies and wanted to keep them of the soil. So the stems are pretty strong to. looking to transplant between now and 2 weeks.

Transplanted and watered the girls. No nutes only water! I never feed my plants any nutes in vegetative cycle and i works perfectly so far. I use lightmix so my substrate is barely prefed. Will put the net on them soon. Might top them few times first. After they settle in ofc :) The whole room including led light (veg spectrum), small outtake fan and one fan for airflow in the tent at 191 watts, not bad i guess. What do you you guys think? Will improve to 300w cob led soon for flower and stronger outtake fan to. So i hope to keep the tent under 400 watts total. Which should be no problem at all. Also with this heat plaging Europe atm its so much better to go LED. Less AC use = less Power use! Keep it green y'all!

Hello beautifull people! Today i got my new LED lights. They are the "1800W COB LED Grow Light Module Design Full Spectrum" from Crxsunny. Its pretty white, it might not show on the picture but its like a hospital kinda white. I dont like the coverage it has so i will prob put in a 2nd one later. Luckely i ordered two and they pretty cheap. In time im looking to hang them at a 50cm height. The tent is pulling 340 including light exhaust fan and airflow fan. So thats pretty good. So in the close future im looking to hang two lights and a stronger exhaust fan. So gonna try to keep the tent under 600w total. Its to soon to tell how i feel about the leds but im already kinda skeptical. As for the plants; Feeding them just water every 2days. I topped them yesterday and today i removed the top 2 fanleaves. So the shoots get room and light to shoot through. Looking to put the scrog nets on any day now. August 8 edit Watering and putting on the nets :)

Last week of veg. I have put in the 2nd COB LED. Both pulling about 280w each. I forgot to look at the wattmeter so will update how much electricity exactly the tent is pulling another day. Just feeding tapwater, nothing else. I use Plagron Lightmix as soil. So its barely prefed. As you can see they are doing pretty well. Nutes are overrated kappa :) The scrog is filling up nicely. Its my first grow doing this so its still kinda figuring out how to fill it up. I find it hard to decide if i should just train the plant or top it. Im also debating adding some co2 bcs the leds should be providing a lot of light and i might be able to boost grow this way. To bad i dont have any measurement equipment. Here we are again. First week of flower. Switched to 12h shedule... First nutrient feeding since start of the grow. Did a bottom feeding today. They are slightly yellowing so right on time. I could use terra grow instead of bloom for the first week or two but i dont have any and its probably gonna b fine. If i see if it gets worse i will get some. They are rly thirsty. Might be bcs of the huge amount of light beaming on them :) Will defo add more pics during the upcomming days..

Hello beautifull people! 2nd week of flower. Not so great news, i got deficiencies on one plant and i think it might have been bugs. I spotted one, so i immediately pulled out the big guns and used phytochlorex on the soil so they cant breed there. Few days later everything seems fine. Its early enough to use this kinda toxic product bcs its still pretty early in the plants life. I think i am in the clear. Other than that i upped the nutrients a little to 4ml/l. Im doing top and bottomfeeding. The nets are filling out nicely. There is one girl standing out and filling the screen better compared to her sisters.

Hey beautiful people! Here we are for another week growing Blue Cheese from RQS. All teh grills are looking happy as ever. Buds are forming; Smell is setting in; Started using green sensation bloom booster since this week. Just using it on and off since its still pretty early. I have a slight feeling these grows might turn out big. I kinda regret not using co2. Does anyone have any experience using co2 in small growspaces? Shoot me some advice on what to do without spending big chuncks of money. What else... Oh yea... I lollypopped them to as you can see in teh picture :) Got high hopes for this one. I love cheese :)

Hello beautifull people! Another week filled with some bad news :( I have trips. I have been fighting them off for few weeks now but wasnt sure what i was fighting off. Now i know :) I used pesticide twice over last few weeks, wich im not to proud about but whatever. I managed to push the bugs back but never rly win the war. So i ordered multiple predators. I got two different predators on the way, i will spare you the naming. One that eats adult trips and one that focusses on the larvae. My grow is a little stuned by it. I try to remove the leafs that are affected the worst. I will be getting the predators any day now. I have two growrooms and both are affected. I will not go down without a fight tho 💪 Im worried about one plant tho. I think it might have suffered a virus due to the trips. Have a look at the pics if you will :) Other than that the plants are still looking decent and the canape is pretty even.

Hello beautifull people! 5th week of flower. All is well. I think i beat the thrips plague. plants are kinda stagnated i think. rly hoping the buds will fatten up the next couple of weeks. the smell is setting in strong. had to increase exhaust fan power.

Hello beautifull people. Updating this post for last week, i forgot. Stoner life yo :D Will update this week in a day or two. The plants seems like the rdy to finish up, kinda... Im debating to start flushing next week (this week) The pictures look pretty nice. Although they had a semi hard life, the trich production is pretty nice. The smell to. Tuning down on the feeding a little as i want a clean smoke and dont want to flush more than 2 weeks. Its also getting cold at night which kinda stunned the budgrowth a lil but whatever. Will prod not grow this one again bcs yield. Looking for something more lucrative :)

Hello beautifull people! Final week of feeding. Im already feeding nutes and water on and off. After this week will start a 2 week flush. The fall colours are setting in which is pretty nice. Other than that frosty and smelly. You can tell the end is near. Leafes yellowing a lil, hairs turning brown. Recorded the grills to this time.

Hello beautifull people! These are the final weeks. Started flushing this week. Strictly water! Im having a hard time keeping the humidity low... So i placed two passive dehumidifiers. 1 in and 1 outside the tent. And i have a fan blowing air over the buds. Lets hope that will suffice. Dont want to use high power using equiment. Power here is hella expensive. Added a vid displaying juicy nugs.

Hello beautifull peole! This is the last week of flush. Look how rdy these girls are... the smell is freaking strong... Im gonna enjoy smoking this one ^^ Since high humidity is a factor i might harvest one or two 2morrow but they rdy af anyway :)

This was a pretty good grow despite having to fight off trips. The end product is rly dank af. Rly looking forward to make extract with the cuttings.
