2019-12-08 (day 9) -not much too add, seedling is growing. Atmosphere in tent is stable, slightly colder than I'd like but nothing I'm worried about. My second Meizhi 600 showed up and I will add it most likely in week 3 or 4. I may pop 2 more seeds to grow simultaneously with these two girls, just a bit worried about the coverage of these lights, we'll see I haven't made up my mind yet. I'll likely implement nutes by the end of next week.

Started only using water, waiting game at this point. Leaves starting to really fade to a purple/black. While the buds take on a pink/purple hue

Week 7 ~ 🦍

Man, what a crazy week. If you go back to week 6 you’ll start to see signs of the claw on the leaves. I thought it was a severe nute deficiency but I knew I was feeding her GHE correctly. This is my 2nd run with this particular strain so I could rule out several factors. She’s been fed with a nice blend of food that helped a ton, but she still seemed sick. It wasn’t heat stress, although I’ll be watching the RH levels now that she’s been flipped to flowering. I noticed a couple things I thought were nutrient deficiencies but after further research on Growweedeasy.com, Nebula had my answer! You’ll see in the 1st pic her roots were so bound up I was suffocating her 😢 The first tip that got me thinking: I’d water her and 2 days later she was bone dry. The PH water levels were a bit off in the drain off but nothing crazy. I’m sooo glad I found this when I did as I just flipped her into flower. Growweedeasy.com to the rescue. It amazing content! For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. One Forbiddin Runtz got chopped an hung to dry out an the rest are still flushing out through the rest of this week! Very nice looking fades coming along on the fan leafs from purple to green , so beautiful ! So happy with these genetics from @fastbuds_genetics!
