So I was very impressed with the yield for my first grow What did I learn? so I Learned the importance of LST and staying o top of it, also the importance of not letting the medium dry all the way out because it will cause Ph fluctuations. another mistake I made was that I did not switch the nutes from veg to flower, so they were not getting everything they needed at the times they needed them. The last thing is lighting, I had 1 1000w blurple led light (and that was for a 4by4) and I finally got another 1000w at about week 9 to properly fill out the tent, so I'm excited to see what I can do with both lights and next grow. I also only used GH 3 part nutes and cal mag, it did great, but I'm planning on adding in a few things next grow so stay tuned. Let's call it Fuego RSO.. 😎 you will need: 30g / 1 ounce trim or flowers, ground coarsely or blitzed 1 litre alcohol (better the expensive one which is food safe, butthen it would be nice to have a distiller to catch it.. so i take rubbing alcohol 99,9%) a cheap rice cooker, you need to be able to operate it with an open lid, and it needs to switch to keep warm function by itself! a USB cup heater a container for mixing the weed with the alcohol, made from ceramic or glass or something a stick for stirring a container to catch the green liquid (alcohol is magically dissolving many colors and other things so make sure you use the right materials here) a straining cloth, sieve, coffee filter etc to seperate the plant material from the green alcohol trichomes solution a scraper or spatula a heat proof glass to put on the USB heater for last finish a glass container or cyringe to store the finished oil some coconut oil and some small glass jars ° first you pour half of your alcohol over the flowers or trim and then stir for several minutes ° sieve the material, catch the green liquid ° put the material back into the bowl and mix with the other half of the alcohol, repeat ° put the minimum demanded amount of liquid in the rice cooker and switch on, stay there!!! keep the lid a bit open, this is really prone to catch fire now. i do it in the garden when it's windy.. Pollen was dropping like crazy as the male flowers got ripe and ready. The females got good and coated and fully pollinated. I harvested the males to collect and preserve the pollen. Some dried and I veiled it up. But the bulk majority is still drying up. I left just the bottom portion of the male kicking for some extra pollen well the females throw off. The diary will now begin to focus on the pollinated females. The journey to beans is well under way! Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

We got unlucky this week... We were gone for a short vacation over the weekend. We came back late int the night on Sunday. Looking inside the tent, the leaves on one bud of Middleman looked weird. When we saw that at first, I was pretty sure that we have bud rot. However there was no energy left in us to do anything with the plants. So we took a closer look the next day. On Monday, checking with the lights on, the bud on Middleman looked bad. We opened it up, revealing mold in the early to mid stages of Botrytis. Looking back, there were signs of this on the day we left, but unluckily we didnt notice it. Funny enough, this was actually my favorite shoot out of all plants, since it looked so good overall and I looked at this particular shoot more than any other :/. We keep it going. Other buds look good for now and we dont have long to go.

Hello, fin de la semaine 2. Quelques petits problèmes pour bien gérer mon EC, du à une eau vraiment très dure. Au niveau des arrosages, je suis passé à un arrosage tout les jours depuis quelques jours, les plantes semblent apprécier. Elles ont repris de la vigueur, à confirmer avec le temps.
