After so much tender loving care, I came home today to find how two puppies kept themselves busy while I was attending my daughter's graduation!! Evidently, Thelma and Louise had a blast digging a hole and uprooting my baby Strawberry Banana plant. But do not fret, for Susquihanna doesn't like to lose. So I put my Strawberry Banana back in place, filled in the hole and put another row of fencing up to protect my Strawberry Banana Plant. I am a Newbie, but from what I understand, Sometimes growers/contests are interested in seeing the good, the bad and the ugly. So, today is an ugly day with no new growth or excitement to report. I am hoping next week I will have a plant to report on. For now, enjoy my videos of Thelma and Louise playing; the double fencing that I put up; and pray for my dear little Strawberry Banana Plant--that she may come back from her listless life and THRIVE. Defoliated some leaves to let light in, chopped one down early as I run out of bud 🙄 it's good for less than 4 weeks flowering. Have them rice water starch again this week in with there food. A layer of frost is slowly forming 😎 hopefully they will fatten up nice and frost up really good to 🤞

Day 17 (starting Aug. 2nd afternoon): Will water them with a lightly enhanced RO water that was imprinted with frequencies via a PEMF coli for about one day when their day starts. After being away over the extended weekend, on day 20 ladies have grown very nicely. I topped nr# 1 and #2 after I took the photos and will give them a bit of water with Root Complex to compensate for the shock later. Sadly my brilliant control equipment has crashed completely and will not even take a photo currently. Yikes. Hope I can get it back alive this week again. Also turned the left light up by another 20%, now running at 40 W, and lifted it a bit. Eye inspection told me lights were lower here and ladies can get a bit more. At the end of their day 20, they seem to have survived the topping well. I managed to cut right above the new nodes which are already growing. Ladies are at 20 cm height before going to sleep. Day 21 shows great growth again, with lady #1 being at 22 cm now and lady #2, while being a bit less tall, extremely good side branch development. I hope that the rearranged lighting on the left side of the tent will make #1 grow a bit bushier too. Besides from that, I am really happy I tested Hesi HPE. I had such enormous success with room plants that made me want to see how Cannabis plants react to it. It will not add much to salinity, so I dared to add it quite early. While the photos are processed to compensate the lighting, I did not add much to saturation, so leaves are indeed of a very vivid, luscious green and ladies looking extremely healthy. Speed of growth has increased too as the added video shows. It also tells me lighting is enough – they are turning their leaves away right at the end of their day. I am really uncertain if I will change to usual Hesi grow fertiliser at all … Did a bit of LST to the lowest branches of lady #2 which spread almost to the border of her pot. Both temporary girls will leave the tent soon, so that the competitors will have maximum space to develop. Day 22, end of week 3: Outside girl went to get fresh air from now on. Wishing her luck, good weather and not a single male in the vicinity. I rearranged the lights and positioned them a bit higher. First preflower signs appeared on the ladies, so I will change the lighting phase when I return next week. Currently, I have them at 18/6, 45 cm above heads, with 80% running to a total of 80 W. I wasn’t so lucky topping #2. She has only one "top side" branch now … But grows extremely well, so ok!

Gold Sativa has been growing really fast. I had to take solution out of buckets right before update here. Was causing over watering issues with roots growing so fast. So providing more air space between basket, and solution. Should help her perk up a little more. This is my first run of photoperiods in DWC. I think I got most major issues resolved. On day 1 the girls are doing well. Many preflowers showing and the plants are stretching a little every day. On day 2 the reservoir is almost empty. The plants are praying and growing well. On day 3 I changed out the reservoir. I also lolli popped and defoliated the plants to focus energy on productive bud sites. I set up my carbon filter mixing chamber, which is a box where I feed my exhaust ducting from my grow box and have it meet up with my carbon filter in the mixing chamber, then is scrubbed and sent out the chamber. I have to do it this way because I don't have space in the grow box for the carbon filter to be hung. I'm excited to see these two different phenos, I know which one I'm leaning towards so far ;) On day 4 I defoliated once again. I also applied BTI as a fungus gnat larva preventative. on day 5 adjusted ph in reservoir to 6.1. On day 6 flower clusters are forming on tops of plants. stretch seems to be slowing down which seems soon but we will see ;). On day 7 the girls are doing well.

Second week, everything is going well, lst adjusment and light defoliation

Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. She is strong and will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. She was left to dry for 13 days. I smoked some of her buds while drying. Offical weight could of been higher if I had the patience. She have a unique smell, very fruity and musky. I will have to wait for the cure to give more fair analysis. I smoke her in the evening when I am winding down after work and preparing for sleep. I had to weigh her in two parts. One part I took my time to trim the other I just gave a rough trim and placed in jars. I took about 3hrs to trim.

Well I believe I’m on the last stretch of the grow, next weekend might be cut down time.

WOW she is a monster! Just shy of 2 meters! Well 1.7 meters. Still good for a strain that is rated for 0.9 meters. She is developing quite an impressive stature with an abundance of beautiful bud sites.

sorry for the late update the farm dog went missing a couple of days b4 my weekly visit to the pot patch. I spent the entire week looking for her. We did eventually find her exactly 1 week after she went missing. plants are doing well. 3rd week into bloom did a bit of house keeping on the interior of the plant. no big defoliations though I dont believe in that on outdoor plants. not a hint of PM and very very strong branches now thanks to all the foliar sprays with Silica.
