* ***************** Week 3 of Growth From Seed, April 25 to May 1, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination ********************** * Started the head scratching more this week and wondering what is going on with the slower growth she has experienced the last 4 days or so. She is looking good and not dark....environment is good.....what the heck is the pH so high when been given feed well inline and below 6.0......why runoff numbers in low 7's so early in the run?? A number of heavy feedings this week so that I can read the runoff numbers for her. Going to keep staying the course with feeding but lower the pH because she is still progressing and its still pretty early in the run........not much veg time for an auto though so I need to get this figured out pretty soon. Gave her some Epsom salts this week as well as I have been battling Magnesium deficiency the last run or two. Always just used CalMag but I don't think the girls always want as much Calcium as they are given this way though. Fed at a rate of 1tsp/gal in a two litre feed early on in the week. Little more Detail........... Apr 25/20, Day 15 - 500ml feed - VitaThrive and Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 6.0pH - small feed of base nute to try and perk her up. - noticed the lower leaves are droopy while the upper leaves are perky still. - Still working on dialing the light for these girls as they are happier at 30" away from canopy. Apr 26/20 - Day 16 - 500ml feed - AN Sensi Cal @ 1.5ml, Sensyzime @ 2ml, Epsom Salt @ 1tsp/gal - 700ppm and 6.0pH - The Epsom Salt alone shot the ppm to 500 - Only have the veg switch on for the UnitFarm light. - feeling some of the other girls are showing some magnesium deficiency with the yellowing perimeter of the leaves. Apr 27/20 - Day 17 - dry out day - Cut slits in the bottom of the bag today to let more water out, more quickly when feeding. - Wondering if the root zone is staying too wet and therefore causing some stunted growth. - She has been falling a sleep too early in the day so either too much light or getting root bound? Apr 28/20 - Day 18 - needing some runoff numbers to see what the hell is going on - fed 3L - Piranha @ 1ml, VooDoo @ 2ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml - going in was 575ppm and 5.3pH - runoff numbers were 1450ppm and 6.9pH - WTF......bring it down......next feed at only 500ppm and 5.0pH to lower her?? - leaf colour is perfect. Stems are a little immature yet, but side branching is coming out stronger. Apr 29/20 - Day 19 - 8L feed - Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 325ppm and 5.0pH - runoff after the watering was 500ppm and 7.0pH - WTF.....expected it to be more in the 6.5pH range and not that high still? - KK looked worse off, still droopy, after this than the other girls did. Lack of oxygen in root zone with so much water? Its coco though shouldn't be for too long. Apr 30/20 - Day 20 - dry out day - KK likes it a little dryer in her medium.....she perked up more today and looking a lot better. - She has had more vertical growth the last day and she is spacing out some of her nodes. - Her stem is thicker and she is getting stronger. - Still a week behind though in my opinion and they should have been this size a week ago. Apr 31/20 - Day 21 - dry out day - she has done very well the last two days and going to keep riding that wave, didn't water today. - She has certainly gotten taller and wider.......getting her back on track? That will wrap up this puzzling week........pH is not staying low after being brought down......shoots back up over 7 in only 24 hours idea. Working on it Growmies. Day 73. Both girls down, smallest, slowest from all 6 strains that I tried. But it was a heavy push grows, were some girls didn't get best or even normal conditions ... Day 82. Both trimmed and went straight to vacuum sacs. Happy Growing !!!

December 2nd: Week 6 has started, hopefully last week of veg, defoliating, started feeding Sweet Candy, reducing humidity... more to come Tuesday night and it's end of week 6 or day 42, they are doing well, about 16 inches tall and bushy but I feel like another week of veg wouldn't hurt, hoping to get them all around 18 inches tall before I flip Comments and likes appreciated, stay high

Defoled and tied down and she’s pumping now , another week of veg keeping up the defol and spreading her out before flipping. I’ll raise the lights this week to get a bit more vertical growth .

Ciao a tutti! Sono veramente senza parole per la quantità di terpeni e tricomi, mai avuti risultati simili. Devo dire che la linea advanced nutrients sta facendo tutto il suo dovere, non ho mai sentito un profumo così, si sente anche fuori di casa. Ho defogliato ancora tra una rete e l'altra andando a eliminare tutte le foglie che erano inutili, per evitare rischi muffa (visto anche l'umidificatore acceso) e per far sì che aria e luce non abbiano impedimenti a circolare liberamente. Penso che manchino 3 settimane, dalla prossima inizierò con l'overdrive per far sì che la pianta inizi a scaricare tutto quello che ha. Sono veramente soddisfatto, senza parole. La prossima volta metterò solo più due vasi e due strain, per ridurre il consumo di acqua e fertilizzanti, ho visto che ce la posso fare tranquillamente e più o meno nelle stesse tempistiche, visto l'eccessivo allungamento avuto questa volta. Una nota di merito allo strain, la barney's non delude mai ma la mimosa evo è veramente top, lo scorso anno ho fatto quella normale stavolta per orange punch e devo dire che è lo strain migliore che ho messo finora. Week 6 doing great, the HerzOG Nr.1 is going insane! What a monster One week too go till 12/12 Ill give them the next days a solid topdress and will continue watering with tapwater ph‘ed to 6.5 & will go for a scrog net probably

First off. I DO NOT USE TERRA AQUATICA NUTRIENTS. I USE FLORANOVA GROW AND FLORANOVA BLOOM Girls are lookin pretty. The Gelato is one big fat lady. She is trying to overtake the Breakup Cake and the Silver Widow. No problems to mention except the weight of this plant. Stems grow out and ge weighed down by their size. Measured one of the side branches. 6ft 3" on the side branches. If you could straighten them out, this plant would be over 12ft wide. The Silver Widow is 6ft now and the Breakup Cake is over 7. Thanks for the looks like and interest in my grows.

At this stage the stretch was very noticeable

Mar 15: Looking good, keeping rh down has proven difficult with 3 in a 2x3x4ft box, blasting intake and exhaust with 2 fans inside. Otherwise good, did a 1/4 feed to use up stores and salts. Mar 16: Looking good, dialed back in RH, Temp lowered a couple degrees, no oscillating fan so I adjust the position every day. Want to start using MonsterBloom for some fat buds but don't wanna start too early. Also need info if incorporating run-off feeds is necessary if i do occasional 1/4 dose feeds. Slowly dialing back grow nutrients, and upping bloom. New light has made 100X difference. Mar 18th: Will be increasing of volume per feed over the next week to 1 - 1.2L per plant, or until I get 10% run-off. keeping concentration of feed around 800ppm, No signs of deficiencies or toxicities yet, though colour of leaves may be a tad dark, no signs of slowed growth. Increased PPFD to 750 - 940 at the top of the canopy. Mar 21: Going to start counting days not weeks, its been 36 days since they popped, so just over 5 weeks now, I was a bit ahead. Explosive growth, still playing the "increase volume of feed until I get 10-15% runoff" game, at 1L now, will up to 1.25L for todays feed. decreasing FloraGro by .5ml/gal every feed till I get to 1 - 1.5mL/gal. increasing FloraBloom by .5mL/gal every feed till I get to 7 - 7.5mL/gal, or until I see P or K toxicity, whatever comes first. That being said if I get runoff today and its 300 ppm over input, i will flush with a mild feed until I get proper output/input ppm ratio. Amelie has settled in well in the new tent and has gained 4cm in height this week. As she had been standing on the piano by the window under a 7W lamp for a really long time, waiting for a tent to finally become available, she had produced a lot of leaf material. This now had to come down. On 08.03.25 I therefore lollipopped and did some defoliation on the leaf canopy. Now it is nice and airy again and can concentrate fully on flowering. Incidentally, the pistils were already visible on 03.03., 8 days after the start of flowering. I had sent the mother into flowering in the previous run and fed her with Biobizz Grow/Bloom/Calmag and Plagron Green Sensation. As I still have a sample of Biobizz Topmax here, I thought I'd give it a try and see what effect it has on the taste. It's supposed to be sweeter, I've heard.

Moving along nicely now. The timelapse is showing some nice growth over the last 6 days. The next month should really be fun to watch. I plan to let them stay in the buckets for another week before I move them into the larger containers. Not much else to see early on. They should be ready for their first clipping here soon. Fun fun!

As most seam to have a very tight growth pattern I honestly think they're going to be monsterous tower's in the coming weeks. with that in mind I gave everyone a good leg shave to increase those chances. Also The Frist trellis is up ! after talking with Katsu about how much he thinks this particular strain may stretch.. i've decided to hang 2 lines of support across these girls. this first being right as we move into FLOWER ! teh second line will go up one the stretch stops..(week3-4 maybe we will see) With that being said, after a slight flush @6.6ph Water, & 24 Hours of darkness happening as I type this entry.. They will receive their first Flower Feeding in the Morning! & the next entry will be our first week of flower ! It is always a blast working from a pack of Reg Seed, let alone an Exciting project like these Katsu beans ! and as we move into flower next week I've taken cuts that I'm hopeful will ensure I have the BEST of the Best Flowers from this run to keep for another run at least.. and maybe even outdoor 2021. Day 102 since seed touched soil. Again troubles .... Came to check them and found tent dark. Normally theirs day was in the night, now one day we again had no electricity and everything moved 8 hours, so day is day now .... Humidity spikes as hell. I dont want to make wounds, so no defoliation ... just too big of a risk to damage or bring infection in .... Ground level 99% rh, canopy level - 85, lights level - 80 .... never grew in such hight, i did in 65-70 without problems, but this goes overboard ... Drinking slowed down, will reduce volume by 20% next watering. One more feed left. Keeping sticky pads as prevention and it helped to catch 50 or so bugs and maybe prevent infestation. Gnats mostly ... This this girl is most behind, she is heavily overcrowded , would need defoliation , will be many airy lime green buds, but ill still smoke them ;))) 10 days till chop !!!
