Update week 2 of Bloom

Poor Skunk Apple really is the runt of the litter. I think we can blame my rookie mistake of giving it a gallon of water that was way too strong. It's been struggling to recover ever since. Hopefully this little guy will catch up eventually, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. May this year bring you all the things you've been wishing for. Let's make this the best year yet! I can't believe how much my plants have grown during this stretch! It's like they've been on some serious plant steroids. They've all at least doubled in size, some of them even more. I have a hard time with overwatering, especially now that it's harder to let them dry out. I just don't know if I'm damaging the roots with all this growth.

In fact, this is one of the most beautiful plants I have ever seen - it's fantastic :) FastBuds gorilla cookies auto with a small space, hot temperatures copes perfectly :) good luck to everyone :).

I chopped her down after taking a closer look at the trichromes, she was quite amber on some buds and I did make sure to check the calyxes, not the sugar leaves. Didn't want to risk over opening her, and I'm already nervous about drying so. Better to get it over with no? Low and slow. 60%rh and 60°F. My cheap equipment is struggling to keep the tent there, but it's chugging along. Anything id buy won't get here in time to save the harvest, so if it gets overdried.. it gets overdried. Its a bummer but what'll you do. This was a very educational experience for me, and my second plant (check out my new diary) will hopefully preform much better! Kudos!

Day 78 - Starting off week 12 and couldn’t be happier. Things are going good and just gave her a feeding today. This will be the last week of feed and will flush with Sledgehammer next week. Quite a few fan leaves are really starting to fade in color and die off, telling me she’s probably towards the end of life. Hopefully there’ll be some fattening these last 2 weeks before chopping. Attempted some trich pics but can’t hold steady enough so didn’t turn Putnam so well but we’re just about 100% milky from what I can tell. Day 79 - Looks like a change in plans and most likely will chop this weekend. Overnight she popped a lot of amber trichs. Even the bottom buds with less light and are about 20-30% amber. I don’t want it going too much further than that so I’ll do a big flush tomorrow and most likely chop either Friday or Saturday. Day 80 - Final day before chopping. Put 5 gallons of water with the Sledgehammer through for a flush and all is looking good. Put together a new drying box today so we’ll see how that works out for the drying process. Seen some videos on it and looks like it should work. Will be chopping tomorrow and so ready!

temps got a little crazy a couple days(up to 90) but was able to keep them below 85. Realized this week I've been running an undersized exhaust fan(4" 165CFM) when I should've been running a 6". With my size room, ducting, and a carbon filter I need a minimum 260CFM. The 6" is rated at 400CFM which is more than enough. Can't believe I'm just now realizing this. Should bring temps down significantly

I ran into problems in the beginning but now I’m seeing my mistakes witch is a good thing because that means I’m learning… RDWC is definitely different then soil but I’m loving it. I also see now that I need to turn the center pot lids around so my plants aren’t going under the trellis support pole. Rookie mistakes.

This was another very good week for the plants, with the flowers beginning to swell up and take shape. Some of the lower leaves are starting to yellow, but this is expected. As the light doesn't penetrate as far, the plant will begin to 'consume' those leaves and drop them to redirect energy to the tops. The canopy is fairly even apart from 1 small spot, which does not have any colas at all. This is due to me bending away the GSC that was topped, with the intention of the lower branches stretching up. This happened with all the other plants I did it to, but not this one for some reason. I think it was due to airflow around the budsites so I added an extra fan last week to hopefully improve this. The strongest looking plants by far are still the ones that were Topped with LST, followed by the mainlined, with only LST in last place. I have found that the LST only ones do not have stems as thick as the others, so this may impact yield later. Not much done in the way of training apart from the odd leaf bending or stem tying. The next few weeks will most likely be fairly uneventful, as now we just need to wait for them to flower fully :D

Week 16 (Harvest) 1-2 Drying day 1 Temperature: 24.5 to 19.5 degrees Humidity: 65% to 50% The girls are ready to be harvested! Before chopping them down, i took a lot of pictures. I was able to remove most of the soil from the Biscotti #2 to see the rootball. I hang the plants as a whole to have a slow dry. The exhaust fan is on setting 4. 2-2 Drying day 2 Temperature: 19.1 to 17.5 degrees Humidity: 62% to 57% I changed the exhaust fan to setting 2 because setting 4 was a bit high in my opinion. 3-2 Drying day 3 Temperature: 19.9 to 18 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% Today i checked up on the drying plants, and i see there are some buds touching other buds, so i chopped the plants in half. The buds are still to the main stem for a slow dry, but are hanging more spreaded out to prevent any budrot issues. I changed the exhaust fan to setting 1, as someone told me that it was enough air movement for drying. 4-2 Drying day 4 Temperature: 19.8 to 18.5 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% 5-2 Drying day 5 Temperature: 19.9 to 18.8 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% Today i checked on the drying plants and the buds are shrinking a bit, they are getting a little bit crispy on the outside aswell, I hope they wont dry as fast, and i aim for a 12/14 day dry. For the next grow i already germinated 2x Chemdog (GreenHouseSeeds) 2x Gorilla Kush (GanjaFarmerSeeds) and 1x Deep Candy CBD (GreenHouseSeeds) And I have some upgrades planned aswell! I bought a autopot kit with 4 15L pots, this way the plants will have water and air 24/7 whenever they need it. I have seen alot of great results using autopots so i am very exited to try it out! High GD community, Week 9, Sweet Thai looking allready better then ĺast week. The topping start to grow gently and a full 13cm in height gained this week. Since 3 days(friday), the lightcycle changed into 13/11. Nonetheless spidermites are spotted on this lady, she doesnt back down. After a treathment with orio bugs, who i actually misordered because I didnt had my new microscope yet, trips are definitly gone, and orios do eat/attack spidermites, its not their favorite. So a second army of bugs, this time phyto mytes, its gonna be all about attack and digesting spidermites, Who didnt yet get crowdy so far. But after a check up of some leafs with the new microscope, i can see a lot of eggs and pretty active young spidermites. So the phytos will not come to early. Phytos do eat eggs as orios dont, so thats a big difference. Its very frosty and I would say overall very good if you are looking for hash. I personally do not get much flavors out of it. I harvested 3 plants, flushed them properly, and dried them properly. All of that said, the flavor just wasnt there for me. I get a coffee aroma from its buds but definitely lacks flavor. I do not get any sweet notes from it like I should. This strain is strawbanana cream x do-si-do so I was hoping for a bit more flavor. I do not weigh wet, so final dry weight after a tight trim was a little over 6 ounces.

Ab geht es in die nächste Woche alle Ladys machen hervorragende vortschritte in die breite. Zudem sind die Abstände der neuen Abzweigungen relativ gering und gleichmäßig. Aktuelles setting: 18/6 Zyklus 60-75% Luftfeuchtigkeit Temperaturen liegen zwischen 20 und 25 Grad regelmäßig. Der Ventilator kommt täglich für 10 Std zum Einsatz allerdings noch gegen die Wand gerichtet damit die Luft Abprallen kann und frühstens 2 Std nachdem das Licht eingeschaltet wurde da die Ladys meiner Meinung nach den Tag nicht direkt mit Stress beginnen sollen :) Zudem entwickelt sich bei einer Pflanze (Welche vermutlich eine andere Sorte ist vom aussehen her) einen stark bekannten Haze Geruch der mich direkt zum lächeln bringt wenn ich sie besuche! :) PPFD: 470 DLI: 30,5 LUX: 18.000 Kelvin: 5100 Dünger bisher nicht verwendet da sie noch frisch umgetopft sind und der Biobizz Light mix laut angaben und Infos von anderern Growern für 2-3 genug Nährstoffe besitzt. Edit: 27.04.24 Eine Lady sieht krank aus :(

Buenas! Venimos notablemente, tratando de mantener un clima entre 50-60 de H y 24-27 de T. Subimos el Led a 80% y ya le estamos subiendo la dosis de ferti y aditivos. Esta semana ya comenzamos a notar el engorde, y la intensidad de los olores muy marcados. Fenotipo 5: La mas resinosa, internudos mas largos, olor a pomelo y las flores son mas chicas. Puede quedar violeta. Fenotipo 3: cogollo grande y compacto, internodo mas corto, terminando en punta. Olor a tropical, piña 🍍. Fenotipo 4: cogollo muy denso y resinoso, con olor a piña 🍍 tambien pero con un toque banana 🍌. Fenotipo 2: el cogollo super denso y grande, pura resina. Olor no tan fuerte, pero es citrico vomp una naranja 🍊

Day 36 Flowering: Hi all , hope we are preparing for the weather changes and stocking up stress hormones for the heat ?. I am hoping i have timed this last group of autos and their 18 hours light needs to finish as the heat rises . I am excited to be running the Herz O.G again as a photoperiod along with the Exotics seeds fast sherbet. should be fun. I amended the soil today with the last use before harvest of the ecothrive charge and eco-life and water. I am hoping the combination of Megacrop and living soil can be balanced as I love both products for their abilities and use The Herz O.g is an impressive lady so far and has begun to stack those colas very nicely on all her mains. She is looking very productive early on and will no doubt build some very chunky fat colas. No signs of any stress or issues and even at a full feed , she just gulps it up and grows bigger.. I do try to feed to just the point of tip burn to keepnthem at max feeding but with autos and a living soil this has been harder to achieve. it buffers very well in the l.o.s. I have raised her up to get her nearer the lights until I move a much bigger plant put to harvest. Strawberry Cola is slightly taller than the Herz and is beginning to form some nice colas that want to join up already. Another great lady in the making. Monster mash has stopped going vertically finally and makes her the tallest girl in the house ... Her node spacing had me worried initially that she would be clusters of buds rather than long colas but she is starting to close the gaps now so lets see. She has some nice growth overall and once I move a few more plants out I will get her set out a little better for more par. All of these girls have been feeding well and have grown very quickly so far. The next few weeks will be fun too no doubt. grab some of these seeds for an easy ,healthy grow. be safe growmies.
