26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! New growth is fast soon I will put into a 20 litre pot and give her more space to spread out.

Week 7 did not go too well. I believe I ran into a heat stress issue due to the lights and I also tried some new supplements to add to the res and I ended up with some type of nute lockout.....I think. Anyway, today starts week 3 of flowering and after some more research into nutrient ratios I came up with what you see above. Now I added all of this into 16 gallons of RO water (in the correct sequence) and my EC ended up a little higher than I wanted...1.4. I was looking to stay more around 1.0, but below 1.2 regardless. So I ended up adding 3 more gallons of RO water to the mix and got my numbers looking pretty descent. I was under the assumption ww was on the smaller side of the cannabis world, but this one plant, nicknamed "HULK", seems to be the exception to the rule. Hulk is now 24 inches tall....WITH LST. There is probably another 1.5 feet of branch that is basically horizontal. Well it leaves me in a predicament. I only have 22 inches of light between the 315w CMH and Hulk. The light is as high as it can go in the tent. Well I am going to keep an eye on these girls and hopefully we will see some improvement in growth. Last week pretty much stalled. Well I will check back in and let you know how it's going. Until then just keep it growing. Jan 16 update: wow, the Hulk just keeps going 😳. The runt is still giving me issues. It looks like heat stress but not from the lights. Thinking a vpd issue. Got a thermal temp gun so I am watching for that now. Also got me a wireless camera set up now. So I can check on the girls whenever and wherever I am. Love it.

2/20/22 I think I have everything dialed in for the most part. Trying to make sure this living soil is staying wet without water the plants too much. Think I need to up it a little, soil in certain areas is drying out much faster than others due to the light mostly. Lowered my light to 18" I felt deep down, maybe 5-6inches, the soil was dusty dusty dry. I am now actually watering half a gallon to each container around the outside with my garden sprayer. I make sure to get the top inch wet with a mist and then glob some water in there w/o sprayer nozzle 💦💦💦 2/21/22 noticed curling on bottom leaves. Did not change anything 2/22/22 noticing more curling, the beginnings of curling maybe on the second set of leaves 😕? I dropped the fan from speed 5 to speed 2 to hopefully raise the humidity. It's working and is now at a comfortable 57%. Not ideal but much better than 42% for veg 😅 2/23/22 noticing curling on all 4 plants on both the first true leaf sets and second (1 leaf and 3 leaves ea). I moved the light to 24", which is 33% further away and according to my $40 lumen meter, about a 28% reduction in visible light FWIW. Finally put up a little oscillating fan setup on a rudimentary iPad music-stand mount. It's loud as hell, need to look into a quieter fan lol 😆

It’s the 1st week of flower I flipped the plants to 12/12 a few days ago. There is a lot going on and a lot of cool and amazing things coming in the near future. I don’t see it being very long until winter is here and it’s time to use a heater and not an ac unit. All of the plants are healthy. The plants have all grown so well I turned down the light intensity a bit today the plants didn’t seem like they was starting to strech very much. Hopefully the lower light intensity will make them strech out just a bit

End of week 7 of flower has come. All 3 plants are doing great. The one tall one has gotten so big it fell over and I had to tie up a bunch of colas. They all smell really good but each one has a slightly different scent to it. The runt is small but has a lot of colas. The one in between I think has the best structure out of the bunch. Almost harvest time.

Germinated then placed into her 20 Litre airpot with fresh compost.

Explosive growth this week. Might get a grow net for separation. Decided to top these ladies later. Growing at a good pace.

As I did the flushing in day 68 I was watching the trichomes and on day 87 I could see 25-35% amber so I decided to cut it. I cut the whole plant on the base and hang them all to dry. For this reason I will update my findings later when it gets dry and trimmed. So far really happy with the results. It won’t yield much but the quality is impressive
