Hi everyone :-) This week a lot of nice things happened in the flower tent :-) Everyone looks super nice, and is growing stronger and more beautiful week by week 😍👌. The blue cheese smells like a dream ;-) As usual from this variety 👍. The kosher tangie is also very, very tasty 👏🏻. Both got Pk 13/14 this week for the last time :-) Everyone else is developing very well 👍, That will be the last diary with several strains together :-) In future everyone will come individually 👌. No hay shock de trasplante! 😍💥😁 Todas las ramas se han estirado hacia arriba tras el ajuste de LST y se están formando nuevos nodos rápidamente Esta combinación de nutrientes de Lurpe + substrato de PRO-MIX HP es una maravilla 😍 Día 45 (16/07) Ayer tuvimos ola de calor (37 ºC) y han aguantado muy bien! A última hora de la tarde (cuando ya no había sol directo) les apliqué H2O en spray foliarmente para refrescar los estomas Hoy parece que vuelven las temperaturas estándar para esta época del año: 29 - 30 ºC en las horas centrales del día Riego con 1 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Día 46 (17/07) Pequeños ajustes de LST Hay algunas ramas inferiores que no se han formado / estirado mucho Lo más probable es que haga una buena limpieza este domingo, 7 días después del trasplante, para dejar solo los brotes por encima del 4º nudo Día 47 (18/07) Riego con 0,5 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Este domingo (día 50) haré limpieza de partes bajas y tal vez también de nuevo topping en las 4-6 ramas principales 😁 Día 48 (19/07) Día de muchísimo calor con 37 ºC. A ver como lo llevan! Riego con 0,5 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Día 49 (20/07) Para ayudarles a llevar mejor el calor de las horas centrales del día, coloca una malla de sombreo (70%) sobre el invernadero Lo cierto es que se nota que baja mucho la temperatura debajo de la malla! Van a estar más fresquitas! 😍 Riego con 0,5 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Día 50 (21/07) Training session! Hago limpieza del tercio inferior de la planta, de todas las ramas y nudos que no superan la línea del dosel marcada por el 4º nudo (1er topping) También hago topping (2º) a todas las ramas principales La idea es tener 12 ó 14 colas principales para que no se hagan muy altas De paso saco unos cuantos clones de las ramas inferiores eliminadas 😁💥 Para superar el estrés, hago las siguientes aplicaciones y riego: - Riego con 1 Litro de Té Vegetativo de Lurpe Solutions. So… 12 cuttings, 2 are toast right off the bat. 3 have rooted, 1 of which was transplanted into 3 gal pot and the two 8 day clones will stay another day in the humidity dome in veg tent (now known as Planck). My flowering tent is called Einstein (don’t judge me!) 😂 I have the vs1000 at 25% in Veg tent and sf4000 at 100% in flowering tent. I decided that I want feminized seeds from one (2) of these ladies so I’m going to pick two clones, one to get hit with colloidal silver to make pollen sacks and the other to get pollinated. Since both clones are female they don’t have the Y chromosome so they can’t make male seeds (although you could have a herm I guess and not know it. Maybe? Dunno) When the colloidal silver disrupts the plants normal flowering process it makes the plant make pollen sacks but doesn’t change the DNA of the plant so you are only getting XX from the pollen. And the recipient plant is also XX so the resulting seeds are only female. If I’m wrong please correct me…anyone!! What if I pick two clones from same mother?! Hmmmm. Also got to be careful to not pollinate the 7 in the flowering tent (Einstein). Plastic bags over the plant? Separate tent enough? We will see… I’m naming the clones that root after famous female scientists I admire. The first one is Ada, after Ada Lovelace, who was an English mathematician and writer, chiefly known for her work on Charles Babbage's proposed mechanical general-purpose computer, the Analytical Engine. Here we are with the 5th (and last) week of veg! Finally I transplant the Queens in their definitive home. Queen #5 wants to be different, so she decide to top herself in a particular way. I really like her shape and all the branches all around! I have to change the light setup for the flowering stage, but I don't know if the box will be able to hold up two cooltube reflectors: I hope it won't implode for too much weight. Another week of scorching heat has made this lady grow like crazy. I had to do some defoliation as she was so bushy!! I also topped her again. I will be moving her outside this weekend and I will start to lst her to get that nice even canopy that we all love 🔥. I have started watering with Fish Shit and will be doing it weekly now. Humboldt genetics are always a sight to behold!! Onward!!! 😎🍿🍻
