I started germination of this Gold Bar Kush bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cube with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into a 1 gallon pot. Plus get this lady situated into her new home. Cant wait! Some background information on my first run with GBK. It's a VERY robust variety packing hella branches, hella quick. Prime candidate for continues ongoing lst work. To maintain a clean,uncongested even canopy. She can become a jungle quick if left untamed. Shes very easy going in the nutrient department. Not hard to keep this one happy. Packs on lots of weight everywhere towards end of flower. Branches most definitely need some support or they will come crashing down. The flavor and aroma from this variety sre majestic. The intense indica effects are heavenly. Not hard to guess why it's back in the grow room for round 2.

Day 31 - 38 (Day 32) I’m going to lower the humidity in the room to 55-60. Still no bananas but I’m still quite worried about #3 fully popping and ruining my whole crop. Since there is a good chance it’s going to herm, I’m going to give it with a small feeding today and watch it like a hawk this week. I think the boost actually made a decent difference in #5 from last week. I’m seeing slightly fatter main colas but that could just be from less topping/smaller plant or less nitrogen. I’ve decided to push my luck and give a boost to each plant. These things just aren’t filling out like they should. They look like they are on day 23 not 33. I’m going to top dress 3 tablespoons of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and later tonight I’m going to water in a low strength feeding of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m going to give a final heaping tablespoon of nature’s pride bloom to #5 so it can stretch to the end. I’m also going to lower the lights by a few inches. The tallest cola is now about 13 inches away and the rest of the canopy is at about 18–24. If I see signs of light stress I’ll raise it back up but I’m sure it could use the extra light on the lowers. (Day 33) I’ve been reading that bigger plants just take longer to mature and that’s probably why my plant hasn’t fully filled out or is about a week behind. I still could have done a better job defoliating some of the smaller larf branches on the bottom which just robs the good branches of energy. The more I think about it, the more I think I did a very poor job of defoliating the middle canopy. I’m still seeing lots of larf and small buds on the inside not getting much light. I’m still really worried about herms after finding that branch so I don’t want to stress them anymore. Removing suckers now is pointless. I missed my window of opportunity and now I have to deal with it. I’m going to slide an old DVD player underneath #6 to bring it up to canopy level. It’s lower buds are definitely not getting enough light. (Day 34) Ever since lowering the light, the canopy has gotten a few degrees warmer. I’ve noticed the buds don’t feel as sticky on top compared to the lower tucked branches that feel almost wet with resin. Outdoor weed grown in my climate will never reach the temperature where it degrades resin luckily. (Day 36) The buds are definitely swelling but not to the degree I want. Call me picky but I prefer my nugs as chunky as possible. I’m seeing lots of pistils but not much nug matter. Ive heard too many pistils can be caused by the overuse of alfalfa, kelp and seaweed extracts because of the natural PGR’s in them. I’m definitely going to reduce the amount of that stuff I use next round. I hope I’m just wrong and this tent is going to really fatten up this week but I have my doubts. (Day 37) A purple fade is starting on the underside of every plant except the bush who still is super dark green still. Last watering I got a nice amount of runoff so I’m just going to leave her until the end. I’m seeing a bit of yellowing on #5. I’m going to give it one final full strength feeding plus some rock dust and oyster shell tomorrow and that’s a wrap for nutrients. I might as well hit everything else with a final low strength 0-0-15 too. (Day 38) I’m amazed at how much this stuff smells compared to my last round. It smells very earthy and floral with a hint of pine. Definitely not that gassy smelling pine but more of a sweet pine.

Start of week 8! 2 more weeks according to the breeder, but if i had to guess I would say 10 or 11 weeks. I absolutely love the way this strain smells, like gym socks but in a good way.

Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. At the end of this week EC is at 3.0 so first thing to do next week there will be reservoir change. All goes well looks like the big Tropicanna plant is maturing so probably about two more weeks for her....better photographs will come next week. I spray them every second day with CannaCure or a hydrogen peroxide solution to be safe from the moldy buds. The SE7000 runs at 550 Watt and about 35cm from the canopy and is doing an astounding job. Day 49 of flower. Lovely! The Buds begin to bring flesh to them self. They grow up. The smell is a little bit diskret till now. I mean the strength of it. Sweet! SWEET! Glorious. I know for the most of north and south (maybe) it's an old wallpaper from Yesterday. But for me, its the first time I smell sticky Watermelon Zkittlez on my Fingers. AMAZING. (If in normal zkittlez is no watermelon smell) than:Like a voice of an God. "BONUS! DOUBLR XP FOR THE REST TIME OF THE GROW! YOU CHOOSE! MORE YIELD? UNIQUE COLORS?" "God(of Ganja maybe)…?" "YES? Day 55 of flower. The Light Spektrum has been Modified. I kill switched the blue Spektrum. In previous Grows it helps to increase the trichom productivity and faster maturity. But warning! Everything pretty. 25.09 AMBER trichomes starting on top buds. 60 days of Flowering. 27.09.... The Buds. Not soo big. But soo solid! I ve the pheno with the hard buds and slow growing but heavy earthy and INDICA lasting one! WITH THE HARD STEELBUDS YES, HAPPY!! Fruity smell is like zkittlez, but with an heavy earthy tone. Still not many Amber trichoms. But Hey we are in FLOWERWEEK 9!!! And 8-10 weeks the Breeder said. Did a defoliation cause prepare to harvest soon. And to get to the lowest benches some light, so they get harder. Trichome check says. WAIT! Gave water ph 6,5. Trichomes re mostly foggy. Still some clear Trichomes. AMBER ist not so much. Maybe on every bud 1%. Harvest, were coming closer... Boah SMOKE REPORT: First bong hit. Häh? Something happend. 30 sec later... Ok here we go, should i take another one? Its so smooth... Three minutes later... Damn my eyes, im so fxxxxxx relaxed, i liked to take a nap. Smooth A Smooth Criminal (AYE) The Buds re heavy. And the hardest i ever had. 30.09. 65 day of flower. Did a little prechop. The Rest still can ripen.

What a difference a week makes. Feeding every watering (every 3rd day) Fox Farm Trio and seaweed. Running hot in the tent! 87 degrees during the day. Cooler weather is on the way. Anyone using CO2? I think to grow in the summer I’m going to have to use it. Most of the plants have shown a calmag deficiency but so far so good

Dies ist die letzte Woche der Vegetation. Ich habe zu Beginn noch einmal etwas defoliert und werde es nun die ganze Woche wachsen lassen. Der Triebwuchs ist sehr schön und es wird einen Haufen Spitzen geben.

Vamos familia, actualizamos la octava semana de floración de estas Permanent maker de Seedstockers. La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-25 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos. En cuanto a las plantas pues estas últimas semanas cogimos un poco de trips y pues ahí ando combatiendo con planchas pegajosas de color azul, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también. Las flores se están llenas de tricomas y están acabando de madurar, aún con la plaga, por el momento todo correcto, ya está semana solo recibieron agua, estoy esperando para desinfectar todo por la plaga y poder empezar en nuevo proyecto. The start of week 9 is going well. On day 5 and 6 of week 9 the temperatures outdoors we're in the 90s my extractor fan ran continuously and my grow room temps are hitting 83 to 85 warmer than I would like. It is day 7 of week 9 and the plants did well on vacation the 10 gal reservoir lasted with an extra 2-3 gal left when I returned. I did however notice a Nitrogen deficiency on the foliage(yellowing on lower parts of plant). I believe this is due to to the long time in between feedings. I applied my weekly Nutes. I will watch for improvement in the Nitrogen deficiency.
