Week 6 for Black Lebanon by SSSC, Like i mentioned on the previous Sunday update, she was transplanted a day after the post. I was planning on not giving water for the first week to let the roots do some growing.... the rain gods had a different plan 😂 Its been storming rain ever since day after transplant now 5 days i think 😂😂 So that didn't go to plan but hoping no rain next week fingers crossed. I also think i topped her again some point last week. Cant wait for her roots to get moving in the new home.

I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

Day 71. Starting to show some purple, which was unexpected! Removed a few leaves that were overlapping. Day 74: Today was a bit heart breaking. We found a spot with botrytis/stem rot starting to set in. It appears we have discovered it fairly early. After searching treatments, we ended up doing a mix of them to try and avoid losses. Obviously cutting the branch off would be the most obvious choice, but we are trying to keep her as is and do some experiments in the name of growing science. We dusted with cinnamon, which has proven to be efficient in terms of anti-fungal properties, and let it sit for a couple hours. Then, we decided to remove the spot where the rot is showing up. We sprayed with H2o2, scraped out the affected area as much as possible, sprayed again and wiped dry. We then sealed the wound with candle wax. We also spread some more cinnamon on other susceptible entry points for fungus, mostly where leaves had been cut or where the stem was more fragile. We really hope this turns out well and we win this fight against the dreaded fungi. We suspect the raise in humidity this week triggered it. She was in the 30s to 40% last week, but the weather changed and she rose about 60% these last couple days. Pray for us, grower friends. Day 75: Had to remove the side branch that was connected to the main stem at the spot where the rot appeared. 😕 Patched her up and am praying this is the last of the consequences of this situation.. Pushing as much as we can to avoid and chop her early.. Day 77: Gave her the final haircut. 😊 Mold situation appears to be under control. Looking frosty as fuck!

The DoSiDos is still growing more pistils daily. The buds are swelling very well and it looks like she still has a week or 2 left before harvest. The humidity in the tent is a bit high (56%) so I moved the de-humidifier in the room to keep it below 50% and prevent budrot. The smell is just great, and still getting stronger each day as she matures. Because the DoSiDos is still growing quite a few white pistils, I have added a 40W red Led to the tent. The red light should stimulate the DoSiDos to speed up the blooming. Trouble in paradise this Saturday.I noticed a strange looking brownish leaf in the main cola. On further inspection it was full of budrot 😱. Luckily it was the top part of the main cola and I managed to keep most of the plant and none of the other buds had any mould inside. It's a real shame, but this can happen when experimental manoeuvres like dragging your plant inside again in the late stages of bloom. Well, let's see if I can keep her in one piece for at least a week more. The trichromes are still mostly transparant so she needs more time to mature.

Ok starting to look nice. I’ve realised my TDS meter calculates a low ppm given the EC therefore I’ve been thinking my PPMs are lower than they probably have been thus the burning leaves. From now on I’m going to use the EC reading of my meter as that is what it actually measures. I’m not sure how long left as this is my first plant. I have a handheld microscope I can use to check the crystals but there don’t seem to be any good spots to get in and use it on easily at the moment, I don’t want to damage the buds too bad. Finaly made a rig that allowed me to raise my light even more as it was too close and I had run out of room to go higher. Its been a funny plant a far as I can tell. Took a long time to flower but is pretty large and seems pretty healthy. Keen for the harvest. 😀 A few weeks ago I changed my nutrient ratios to the ones fourth last on the chart (B...) in the photo and have used it at a watered down rate for the plant. The Jack47XL Auto was germinated in a Peat Pellet which took seven days for her to break ground. Within two days there were roots popping out of the bottom of the Peat Pellet. After she sprouted it was ON! By week two she had three set of leaves and she went into a 5g fabric pot to live out the remainder of her life. She started out short with tight node spacing and I was thinking she would be a fairly squat plant. But once she started to flower at around Day 30 +/- she absolutely took off on the stretch from hell! As she stretched her node spacing widened allowing plenty of light penetration through her canopy and her foliage never got super bushy requiring removing leaves. All in all she was a growers dream! I let her run for 10 full weeks and after her last Top Dressing at Week Seven she received only straight water that was ph'd to 6.7-6.8. After checking her trichomes daily during Week Ten and determining that she was where I wanted her, I placed her in the dark for 60 hours @ 64℉ and a RH of 45%. When I removed her from the dark I cur her off at her base and hung her whole in my Drying Room where she spent nine days drying @ 64-66℉ with the RH running at 50% for the first 24 hours, then raised to 60% for the remainder of the drying time. Being predominately sativa in her lineage, she grew fairly tall and maxed at 32". In addition to her height her really wide node spacing, which made defoliation or leaf tucking completely unnecessary, was so nice to deal with (or actually to NOT have to deal with!) and because of her structure and the way she grew, I decided not to do any LST other than gently bending a couple of her branches during Week Four when she was still short and bushy. After she was dried I trimmed her up and placed the flowers in two large Mason jars to cure. The flower is currently at 68% RH and I'm 'burping' the jars three times a day until it drops to around 62%. I did do a 'Test Press' with 7g of the flower and saw almost a 28% return of super light colored, almost clear, rosin that is some of the best I've pressed lately! 🔥 When you crack the jars your hit in the face with the sweetest aroma you've ever had the pleasure to smell...smell nothing like cannabis, more like a jar full of sugary sweet candy! 😍 Needless to say, I'm hooked on Sweet Seeds and head over heels for their Jack47XL autoflower and can't wait to run her again soon! overall was great to grow and for it being my second grow I'm so glad how well it turned out some of the frostiest buds I've seen or smoked.

there is a significant increase in growth after bending the upper cola, as compared with the sativa, the WB grows and blooms much faster, very grateful to your advice, everything is clearly illuminated, on the next allotment I think to add some ice and shed everything with cold water, the flavor is very strong, for three days I made leaf clippings on the lower part of the plant, fertilized 2-3 times a week, I try to add less than the specified norm, I don’t feel like leaves, I feel as you can see it’s not very bad, I feel this variety will be closer to the harvest than the neighboring sativa, it pleases, and I feel the harvest will not be bad) Well, we are waiting for 7 weeks, wish me luck)
