Week 8 Veg Report: Mentha de Croco Mutants 🌱✨ Welcome to another exciting update in the Mentha de Croco mutant run! As always, these beauties continue to surprise and captivate with their unique growth patterns and stunning individuality. Let’s dig into the details of this week! 🌟 Growth & Development This week marks a turning point for the girls! While their slow but steady growth continues, I decided to top a few of them. Why? Topping not only encourages bushier growth but also allows the untopped plants to catch up, creating a more balanced canopy moving forward. Each one is still showcasing those jaw-dropping unique traits that make this run feel like a gallery of natural art. The Mentha de Croco mutants truly live up to their name, with each leaf telling its own story—some broad and serrated, others narrow and elongated, all equally breathtaking. Watching them evolve week by week is a lesson in patience and appreciation for the beauty of diversity in nature. 🌡️ Environmental Conditions Good news on the environmental front! The room’s temperature has stabilized to a more comfortable range, with daytime temps at 22°C and RH steady at around 66%. These are near-ideal conditions for vegetative growth, helping the girls to stay happy and stress-free. The stable climate contributes to the vibrant health and vigor they display—always praying to the lights like the champions they are! 💧 Feeding & Nutritional Care Nutritionally, we continue with the tried-and-true regimen: • Aptus Regulator 🌟 • CalMag Boost • Start Booster I’ve completely transitioned to using the All-in-One Pellets, which are doing a fantastic job of delivering slow-release organic nutrition directly in the soil. The decision to stop liquid feedings with the All-in-One Liquid was the right move, and it’s clear the girls are loving the steady supply of essential nutrients right at their roots. Additionally, I’ve been sticking to bottom-watering. Filling the trays and allowing the soil to wick up moisture not only ensures the roots get what they need but also keeps pesky gnats at bay—especially when paired with yellow sticky traps. This method has made a noticeable difference in keeping the grow area clean and pest-free! 🛠️ Cultivation Techniques: To Clone or Flip? The big question of cloning or flipping still hangs in the air. I’m taking my time to observe and assess their progress. Each plant is so unique that I want to give them the space and time to reveal their full potential before deciding. Let’s touch on the two potential strategies for next steps: 1. Flipping to 12/12 for a Short Period: This would allow me to determine sex quickly, but it can stress the plants slightly. 2. Cloning: Creating clones and flipping them instead is a great way to preserve the integrity of the main plants while identifying males and females without disrupting their growth cycle. Both approaches have their merits, and I’m leaning toward cloning once they’re big enough to snip without harm. 📸 Photography Corner: Highlighting Details This week, I brought out the cameras again—my trusty Nikon and Sony with interchangeable lenses—because, let’s face it, phone cameras just don’t do justice to the intricate beauty of these plants. Whether it’s the textures of the leaves or the play of light on the water droplets, having the right lens makes all the difference. For close-ups, I used a macro lens, which allowed me to capture every vein and serration on those incredible mutant leaves. For a wider perspective, I switched to a standard lens to showcase their overall growth. These tools help me highlight the artistry in each plant and share it with the world. 🙌 Shoutouts & Gratitude A heartfelt thank you to the amazing brands and communities that make this journey possible: • Terpyz Mutant Genetics 🌱 – For these one-of-a-kind mutants that redefine what’s possible in cultivation. • Aptus Holland 💧 – For providing the cleanest organic-mineral nutrition line that keeps the girls thriving. • Pro Mix – For the top-notch soil that’s the perfect foundation for this grow. • Future of Grow (FOG) 💡 – For the incredible Black Series lighting that ensures every photon counts. • Trol Master – best controls in the market, and i have all the data to back it up . • Grow Diaries 📖 – For giving us growers a platform to document and share our journey. • The Community 🌍 – To everyone who follows, supports, and engages—haters and lovers alike. Stay tuned for more updates as the Mentha de Croco mutants inch closer to their next big steps. Until then, happy growing, and remember: Every leaf has a story, every plant is a teacher, and every grower is an artist. 🌿✨ Genetics - Mentha De Croco https://terpyz.eu/products/menta-de-croco-fern-type?_pos=1&_sid=e9237cbcb&_ss=r DogDoctorOfficial Discount Codes @ terpyz.eu - DOCTOR 15% off Nutrition - @aptusholland https://aptus-holland.com/ Led Power @ F.O.G. After I repotted the plants, they grew really well and healthily for 12 days. Now they are showing iron deficiency again... I already had the problem before repotting. The pH value of the earth has fallen again to 4.8 to 5.7. This time I used biodegradable braids to germinate. I believe that this is the reason for the PH fluctuations in the soil. Every time I water I measure the PH and adjust it to 6 - 6.5. Nevertheless, the PH value drops back to 4 to 5. I'm trying to correct the problem. I also work with neemoil because I can't get rid of the trips

~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Papaya Sherbet flowers deliver a signature flavor of premium cannabis with subtle citrus undertones that emerge upon inhaling. During growth, her aroma makes for a sweet yet pleasantly bitter fragrance, giving you an idea of what the smoke will taste like. Notably stress-resistant, Papaya Sherbet is a great choice for growers working in challenging environments. She is very forgiving and rebounds quickly from any adversity, allowing growers the freedom to experiment with confidence that she will take everything like a champion she is. This strain embodies resilience, flavor, and abundant yields in every grow cycle." Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/16- Week Six is here and the Papaya Sherbet from FastBuds is beginning to finally take off! Our weather is beautiful now with daytime high temp's in the 80's F without a lot of rain so I am watering her daily at sundown with approximately 5-7g of well water. 6/18- I gave the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod a good watering today at sundown via the garden hose with straight well water. 6/20- I watered today and also did a little canopy maintenance, removing some leaves down low, along with some small shoots that would only sap energy better used elsewhere on the plant in the future. 6/22- Six weeks from seed and I have a sneaking suspicion that the FastBuds PApaya Sherbet photoperiod is getting ready to take off in a big way! I could be wrong, but we'll have to wait and see! Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! 💚Growers Love!💚😎🙏

I flushed the pots once this week. And use once with enhancer and a very small dose of shrot flowering fertilizer. And I tried very hard to lower the humidity and make the daytime temperature not more than 25 degrees 💐🛸👽💥1

So missed a lot of weeks in between here and now as life got busy, its ok, shit happens. Gotta focus on the real world and no so much diaries on a site for free... Plants are doing well. had a bit of a issue with some PH in the medium, it got out of wack, or something in the fertilizer reacting with something in the sprayer chamber, noticed before when adding the nutrient solution into the sprayer there was some steam/mist/vapour coming off of it. During this I accidentally over used PH down and then used some PH up to fix it, but I think it did not like this. The result was some leaf burning on all the plants, it did not like that. So now I know to toss it out and start again if I can. I also bleached out the sprayer at beginning but thought I rinsed out all the remaining bleach, even ran a Vit C through it as it will neutralize bleach but I might have missed the lip of the sprayer or part of its manual air pump handle mechanism. Also noticed I was underfeeding them a fair bit in veg weeks, was so scared of stressing them out into early flower it happened anyway. I increase feeding to aorund 700ppm on my pen or aorund 1.4EC, ideally I'll stay at 1.2-1.4 EC for the rest of the grow unless they showing they really want more. The runoff has been stable on PH and about 200PPM different from whats going in, meaning they are eating when I am giving them and they may want more. at least some of them. I have a feeling a small amount of burn will happen on the smaller ones at 1.4EC. Well see how it goes.

Day 64: I've been on vacation for four days now. However, I was able to keep an eye on everything remotely using the spiderfarmer app. They look great. The Pink Cookies and the Purple Kush have grown quite a bit taller. The buds have generally grown larger and the first frost is visible. I watered all the plants with 2 liters of water mixed with fertilizer and Cal Mag. More shoots have also woven into the web.

The plants are exploding in growth. Especially the gorilla cookies. I need to start doing a better job of watering my girls. I means its hard having to mix up all these nutrients at one time so I water my plants 2 at a time. I water 2 one day then the other 2 the next day. Im trying this method out cause it makes watering not so intense during dlower.

Plucked a few more leaves but other than that just feed them this week including bloom. Also gave them some rice starch (from boiled rice water collection) on day 42 as a boost for the microbes 👍 Turned the IR off now and turned up to 34000lux
