Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right 😍 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. Trichomes: The Frosty Frontier This week, the focus is all about those frosty beauties! • Trichomes are the key indicators of ripeness and cannabinoid production. Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. Week four is kicking off good!! Lst and defoliation are working great ready to start the stretch! One plant is showing signs of pre flower. So we will see 🤷‍♂️🏻 Upped the nutrients this week plants are drying out about every 36 hrs. I’m oh watering feeding and ph watering alternating right now and they seem to love it I’m going to start adding some fox farms soluables here shortly. I’ll update this week in a few peace! So an update it’s day 28 all are in pre flower and start of flower switched to the hps light still alternating feeding and watering about every two n half days. Started using open sesame on the last feeding will use it one more time and switch to beastie bloomz. Stay safe everyone!

Added a humidifier and removed the dome lid. They've been underwatered these last days and their size isn't what I would expect at this point. Update: 01/12 --> As you can tell by the look of those roots, they are ready to be transplanted into a 2 gal pot. They are starting to take off, especially the one on the left. I'll be adding Biobizz Root Juice at low doses in next waterings. Looks promising.

Day71: Tropicana cookies will be cut tomorrow or as soon as the soil dries a bit more. Wedding cheesecake is getting denser. This week is the last feeding week for her, then she is going to get 10/14 days with water only. Gorilla cookies is super bushy, I’m not going to be a fan when I’ll trim her but she is developing well and putting on some weight. Day72: Tropicana cookies is drying! Now I got 2 plants in the tent. I can’t wait to see wedding cheesecake colors at the end of the flush. Gorilla cookies is going to get her last feeding as well and then she is going to get only water. Day 75: pushing towards the end!

Very boring but very good week lots of stretching. got a new hood wi th cool tube it's huge 3x3 and my tent is 4x4 I love it will make a second video to show it off. Today I will feed with gaia green bloom ,bat guano and a small amount of worm castings as she lpves her nitrogen and dont want her to fade early. Blimburn seeds are great so far growing GDP by them as well both r fast growing and very forgiving. With the new cool tube i can keep my tent closed now without overheating tent stays between 70-72 degrees now getting all of the light none wasted can't wait for next week's update as I was able to drop the light a foot closer to my plants so growth should be big your gonna wanna see this guys. It's my second grow ever and I'm getting better at growing everyday thanks to everyone's diaries I'm reading so ty everyone and ty to the genius who came up with this web site

Starting off week 9 now. Pistols starting to change to amber. Buds still fattening up. Did notice some other plants starting to have a bit of a calcium deficiency as well as the center plant that's been acting up a bit. Added 1 tablespoon of gypsum to 4 out of the 5 plants. Continuing to use just rain water for now. Hopefully in a few more weeks it will be harvest time.
