Unusual late year warm weather has put a hurting on my grow. I intentionally did RDWC in winter to utilize cool temps for my res and not need a chiller, after having random 78 degree days, I’ve ordered a chiller. The temps are a death sentence in hydro, I was adding ice to the res to battle it, won’t happen again after this chiller is put in. Definitely hurt the Apex plant, which has been a pain the entire grow.. it all started when Apex was a seedling, with its tap root growing up instead of down. She looks sad, If she dies or falls too far behind, I’ll train the other three around to fill in the space. No visible signs of root rot but I’m suspicious after those temps, have treated with Orca, SLF-100, and Hydroguard. Worst case scenario, I’ll dump the system and sanitize as best I can.

She actually grew ANOTHER 31cm this week! She is totally out of headroom now, her top cola will be above the lights in a couple of days 😂 Fastbuds do say it can reach 1.4M... 😁 She is also looking quite bushy, I'm guessing this is a result of the earlier FIMing/topping on multiple sites. This may also have lengthened her veg time, but that's ok. I like to grow monsters 😁 😜 Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. For nutrients I'm using 15g of 20-20-20 mixed with 10L of water. Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 1600ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Flower week 3 and Lady Runtz still happy af. From now on it'll be fun to watch 💚. I gotta admit that Plagron is so much better than Biobizz. I'll definitely stay with Plagron 💪🏼

Day 16-27/12/21 doing well!!! Day 20-31/12/21 plant is looking good!!!! Waiting to move half of them to another tent!!!!

I continue with the same setting. I have 18/6 nice grow and flowering. Plants are healthy. This week I just started with Green sensation additive.

Week 6 Blooming beautifully. The colas are really taking shape, although still tiny but I’m happy with it so far. I added basil in the tent because I read it deters pests because of the pungent smell. Had a slight issue with the run off this week so I assume there’s a build up of salt in the soil ? I’m gonna have to read up about what to do next. What do you think by the images in video? Watered her with just alg-a-mic and ph’d down tap water to see if this helps. Apart from that she’s smelling lovely in early hours when the electrical a switch off. Sorry if my first diary has been a bit pony so far but I’ve had to play catch up. And I’m All up to date now.

Because of the hight and cold we have some and very different Pheno's its not gonna be my best run.. but we have still got some time..

I have more plants that I germinate at the same time but I did no training on them and it made a BIG difference. I'm using pipe cleaners. Cleared out some leaves from the bottom for better air. Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 THE MOST PHOTOGENIC Thinking about changing the title of the diary to that.. 😂😂 I swear the camera loves this one.. And it's not the placement because I've tried moving them to that same spot and the pictures just don't come out the same. I guess the others just need to mature a bit more and they'll be more appealing in pictures because in person they really are.. 😍 Green sensation is really bringing it to the table. Buds are getting fat, stinky and sticky! I'll have to add a bit of support for sure because some are starting to bend a bit. Smell is just grrreat! She's definetly not ready yet so those 40-45 days of flower aren't that correct.. No problem with me though, i'm glad they've got more time to rippen up. Not much difference in nutrients.. I do use 2ml/L of enzymes every 10 days or so in flower.. Noticed it does great work in the roots during flower. Hope you enjoy the pics and vids. Taken on day 42 of flower.
