So this was quite the week...I was looking over our set up, and making sure Grandma has everything she needs when she says "it seems to me that we need a vegetation cabinet." Turns out she had all the supplies too. Cracked me up...so I ended up building a nice little veg / drying cabinet. You'll see it in the second Meph run diary, was too busy to get some shots today. 😅 She doubled in size from last week, super happy with the progress. She's under a combo of flouro and LED in the new cabinet and LOVING it. Started ramping in nutrients slow and steady, keeping the c02 around 600-800ppm while I finish up the environmental control in the new cabinet. I realized that Mephy, might be a flight risk...so I made her a pen. 😂 ...also removed any confusion on her breed. It’s been a strange week this week, few ups and downs, happy with the leaf development and general health of the girls but i think they might be lacking a bit of height and length between the nodes so I’ve been advised to not increase my wattage just yet and to increase the distance from light. I’ve also in the last couple of days moved them to the outer side of the tent, not like I’m lacking the space lol, in hope that this will encourage them to stretch up and out in search for more light; fingers crossed its a winning combo. Still only feeding water when soils dried up. Will deffo put a couple more plants in next time.

I was super anxious to get to grow my own weed. Came home to 5 of 6 sprouted. It took the other one nearly a week to come up.

I gave Isopropyl alcohol 70% equal parts water, 1 tsp cayenne, and kept enough for multiday application, what little population of aphids is left I shall catch them the next morning, opening the tent 10 min before lights on the clovers have yet to open, all the aphids hiding on undersides are easily visible, still none ever went near cannabis plant. Clovers are far tastier it seems. The alcohol kills on contact, the idea was to saturate the leaves with a light foliar application, and once I was done I ran it through the canopy with my hands making sure as much of the clover surface came in contact with the iso, once done turned on the fans and evaporate it quickly. Beautiful thing about Isopropyl is that it evaporates rapidly at room temperature way below boiling point leaving behind zero residual so nothing seeps its way into rootzones unless you spill it there. It is a magical solvent that leaves no trace that it was ever there. This strain seriously surpassed my expectations this plant grew and grew and grew huge yields big chunky buds of some sticky dank goodness the grow went great no real problems very strong strain nothing slows this plants down the weather and my errors beat the shit out of it and it never missed a beat it just kept on growing this was one of the easiest cannabis strains I’ve ever grown it’s resistance to mold and mildew and stress was impressive if grown outdoor i would highly recommend that you take extra steps to Secure the tall long branch’s that’s grow big heavy buds this plant is definitely a big yielding plant and needs extra security I’m more the happy of the results hope everyone in joyed the diaries as much as I did making it I’ve been growing for many years now and had fun doing it but it wasn’t until I found grow diaries and all the benefits of grow diaries I found how amazing growing really can be I’ve learned so much and met so many great people on GD my experience with GD has been amazing Blue Gelato 41 Barney’s farm thanks guys for the seeds and great genetics I truly appreciate it I had a good time with this one 😁✌️🏻🇺🇸

Removed all the new side shoots and the first set of fanleaves. Did this because I want the plant to focus all of its energy on the main stem. I dont need any new side shoots. I thought that this weekend I would flip them in to flower. But I'm going to wait some more. I want to see more height in the plants and I think that after this defoliation that hight will come quick😁🚀 PATIENCE IS KEY! On day 75 I changed the light colour from blue to red to see if this can promote some stretch before changing the lightcycle to flowering. ‼️I did not change the hours of light‼️ On day 76 it seems like there has definitely been some kind of reaction from the plants overnight. They seem to have stretched a little bit. I'll keep a close eye on em these coming days.

Just got a new 600w mh/hps light for now it’s in my current setup with my 250 n it’s dimmed to 50%, only reason I mention is b/c the plants seem to be loving it!! They’re 12 days old from seed, still just ph’d water for them! So far so good :P

This ladies look absolutely gorgeous and super strong, they're gonna be flipped into flower tomorrow on February 15th when they'll hit the 30th day since they were planted and the first day of flower! As said, I have flipped this ladies into flower on February 15th so now I think we're gonna see a beautiful stretch specially on this 2 plants which are the biggest one in the tent, very nice genetic, cannot wait to see their performance ❤️💛💚👨‍🌾 stay tuned everybody! Today i cut down the males. they have pollinted the whole area, the rest of the is into the refrigerator they had lots of pollenpowder its just everywhere in the roo--- means i have to do a very good cleaning

So this week has really absolutely crawled by from my perspective, I imagine it is common with growing that the closer you get to harvest the further away it seems. Anyway I am a bit worried about the middle sized plant - she has a lot more yellowing of fan leaves from the inside out. My reaction to this was to flush her with clean water, my thinking is that everything was fine before I started feeding, and perhaps I didn't mix properly and the soluble stuff was unevenly distributed. That was yesterday (week 6 day 4) It's too soon to tell if this has helped, fingers crossed it doesn't begin to affect other leaves. Despite this being only 5 days into week 6, there have already been fairly drastic changes. Some of the buds are starting to fatten more, and I'd say we're at about 15% pistils amber now, the smell has noticeably increased day by day. It's really beautiful to look the plants in the dark with a flashlight or phone light, the way the light bounces off the frosting of trichomes, as if someone had sneaked in the middle of the night and misted my plants with a million tiny diamonds. I think I will stop feeding the middle plant now and water only (unless it gets worse). The other two I will continue to feed until the end of this week. At the rate of accelerated change I suspect harvest time may not be too long past the end of next week. It's a shame they don't have much more time to grow but at least what small quantity does come from them, I am determined it is harvested at the right time. At the end of week six I have watered only as I now think these plants are maybe 7-12 days away from harvest.
