At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. I was expecting a slower plant, but the yellow pisils proving I was wrong. I added Canna Flush to the mix and from this point I will monitoring daily the trichomes.

I'm back from vacation. So far, everything is fine with the ladies. They look great, and I think I'll be able to harvest them in a week and a half. 💚💚💚. From now on just tap water.

Bubble OG Gum autoflower grew really well. Super frosty colas with a sweet bubble Gum smell. The grow was fairly smooth. I did treat once for mites when she was going into flowering. Beside that there was no major issues. Incredible colas stacking up, and a really impressive harvest on the way. A bit of foxtailing, but thats my fault with an underpowered AC. Supplementing co2, and these are only for me, so whatevs. Live and learn, 2021 will se a much larger ac unit.

Started giving them plain water to flush before harvest. Buds look like they are still chunking up though. They have like a lemon smell too i was not expecting. Great strain for sure

Still working on my canopy. I did some defoliation in order to encourage growth at the bud sites and improve circulation. I have 3-4 weeks until her sister is mature enough to flower. I took a gamble and germinated another seed two weeks ago because the one I originally planted with her turned out to be male. I hope it will be mature enough to produce a decent yield. Even though it will only have been growing for 4 weeks. By that time I expect most of the bud sites on the older plant to have grown through the trellis, and I should have a nice even canopy. The second plant will just be grown as is with very little training. I don't want to slow its growth at all.

Got to love some 🍧 Here we are somewhere in week 3 and she look banging very healthy very happy for sure ,stayed rather short compared to her friends but i rather have them short than tall anyway ,starting to put on flowers so last night ive cleaned her a little bit so top flowers can get all the energy,been feeding every other watering so far so good 😊 💚

The new developing growth is green so everything seems to be going well. I’m gonna give it another week and then I’ll defoliate. So far so good. having a little trouble reversing the wrath rock, candy icy cuts. but I’m not worried. I have backups of the mothers and I have backups of those backups so I’ll definitely still be able to take another shot after seeing the results from this grow ….

All plants were live frozen and processed to bubble hash. After drying the product the hash was processed to live hash rosin and been cold cured afterwards

Clones got transplanted into 1gal Rapid Stack pots, this will facilitate the next transplant into the live soil grow bed with no stress. Quick and easy transplanting with no root shock or damage to the plant. Cut the plants down on the 24th of April, drying room levels are 72°F and around 60%RH, I'm currently on Day #14 of drying and the buds don't feel fully dry yet, the main tops feel crunchy and dry but the lower smaller buds are still quite moist and smell like chlorophyll, I think I may harvest the main tops so I don't overdry and leave the rest in the tent for another few days, either that or put the rest of the buds in a brown paper bag to finish drying. Finished dry trimming the plant ended up with 200 grams dry weight not including trim there's another 2 ounces of trim which if you want to include that would bring the total weight from this 250W LED to 256 grams. I'm super happy with the result of this especially for my first grow and from one autoflower, it can only get better from here on out. FYI Not sure why I can't edit the lights I used but the bloomgro 600W LED is PULLING AN ACTUAL 250W FROM THE WALL so the gram/watt should be .8g/W

SUNDAY 5/19: I accidentally left my UV timer in the "ON" position all night and half of the next day...fearing sudden death, I have moved everybody that was almost ready into the dark tent, including the biggest Candy Cane and will start harvesting them tomorrow..maximum UVB stress for about 20 hours...if it works out that they are even more potent than expected without turning brown overnight, I'll claim it was "intentional," and purport it as an "advanced technique" 😉 MONDAY: The big one still looks fine after the mega-UVB incident , so she's still sitting in the dark. She I flipped on the green light and went into the tent for a sniff test on everybody. She's got that familiar, wonderful stank on her! 😁 TUESDAY: I harvested the big one today and hung her up to dry in the dark tent. RH is steady at 55% and temp is 78-80f. I decided to start flushing everybody else today, so I put a few gallons through each of them with sledgehammer and bembe. I'll flush them once more after they've dried out. The temps in the big tent are now steady at 82f during daylight hours and 68-70f at night. I changed the lights in the big tent to 20/4 for their last bit of life and added some blue panels to further "winterize" the environment. They are still being hammered by the UVB for 6 hours a day. WEDNESDAY: I took a few photos and harvested some other plants today... THURSDAY: CC#7, the big one, was drying too quickly, so I jarred her in a big jar for the day to slow it down a bit. I'll put her back in the basket tomorrow for another day or so. I also decreased airflow a bit and turned my dehumidifier up to 50%. FRIDAY: I put the big one back in the drying basket in the tent. She had moistened back up really well. Last flush tomorrow on the others. Checked trichs and am seeing up to 25% amber on some of the buds..30-40% should be about right for some truly delicious and crippling smoke. SATURDAY: I took some photos while putting a few gallons of ph adjusted spring water through them today..I'll prolly put them into the dark on Tuesday and kill them on Thursday. Their foliage is burnt up pretty bad due to the massive UVB over-exposure, so I'll have some extra work with the trimming... 😏
