🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. This part of the process — the cure — is where the soul of the flower truly comes to life. ☀️ UV, Reds & The Perfect Run Part of what made this run so special was the precision in light spectrum. 40% whites, full reds, UV and IR, and the girls responded like royalty. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. The Autopots system, combined with the Aptus Holland Clean Program and Plagron Green Sensation, made sure they had the perfect environment to expand, absorb, and thrive. Watering every other day, using left over RO water from last feed with a little more phosphorous and potassium. and cal mag and fulvic and molasses added... EC 1.5 PH 6.2 Temp 20. Runoff was within 500 ppm higher than input (yikes). (still going for same input & runoff😒); its a dam goal ! These last couple of weeks seem to take forever. Praying to the ganga gods😇 that it finishes OK. March 29/2021 Brix is increasing, highest brix is 14 on 2 plants, brix of 10 on 5 plants, Brix of 9 on 3 plants, Brix of 8 on 1 plant, Brix of 7 on 1 plant.

Once you get to this point in the cannabis life cycle, growing is easy. Using the Beanstalk line of nutrients allows me to only use water from beginning to the end of my grows. No mixing nutes, no teas, no anything. I adjust the pH of my water to the 5.8-6.5 range, but I’m not even sure that is necessary. I have never tested using water right out of the tap as it’s almost 9.0, but that would simplify things even further. Experience has taught me to simplify. This goes for all aspects of growing. I used to top and train my plants under a tellis. Then I would spend hours trimming and had jars overflowing with flowers that I was never going to smoke. Now, I go for a month of veg and right into flower. No training, no topping. In addition to allowing a much faster turnover, I can gauge the growth habits of my plants much more effectively. For example, you can see this Shiskaberry plant exhibits significant and abundant lateral branching. Not only that, but those branches are strong enough to support the weight of the flowers they hold. This means that this plant would be an ideal candidate for a ScrOG or LST setup where the goal is a ‘carpet’ of flowers. After running this cultivar several times, I also have an accurate flowering timeline and can approximate stretch to allow users to fit their grow. More on this in the future. For now, enjoy the end of week 5.

Thirsty girl drank 3/4 a gallon plain water,gonna brew some AACT, tonight, then add veganic special sauce after brewing 12 hours, and unleash my microbial army. Moohaha!😈

Fed only distilled water every 3 days. They getting thirsty now. They grew about 2 inches n looks like they are done strething . Now they are fattening up real nice. Especially the super skunk auto in the back right corner. ..so far no problems. Just watering them wen needed n watch the temps n humidity daily. So far the most easiest n relaxing grow I've done...will update next week...good luck on your grows.

Day 36 - 42 So fun to see her little flowers!! Everyday they are becoming bigger and noticeable. I am keeping the nutrients same as past week. I hope she is happy!

Not much this week. Video that was included for this week is what i have in my grow room. MI6 is last. Video resolution is crappy and will soon invest in a better camera. Others will be posted on separate diaries if willing to look. MI6 went threw a little heat stress. Hopefully will bounce back. Thank you. Also wanna give a head up in the next few weeks as I will not be home much due to the holidays, so pictures and some info are lacking due to my lack of writing down and being home lol.

So I'm on day 14 of flower now and there doing brilliant. They will probably finish there stretch after this week. Another fan coming tomorrow. Day 16 of flower, added new fan for under the netting 👌 plants are rocking now lol still stretching had to raise the light 🤣 temts and humidity are on point, absolutely stinks in the room, and I'm loving it 😀. Day 18 of flip and there getting fatter, starting to produce trichomes now they smell really skunky, I really need to do a defoloation for those lower buds but ill do it day 21 and then its done. Temp and humidity have been good so far highest humidity when lights off was 67% with my fan ac controller set on fan speed 7 and I just watered them that night. Day 20. So today I just performed a major defoliation on the ladys as there was alot of leafs blocking bud sites. I been struggling with humidity these lst few days 😫 so tomorrow I got a big dehumidifier coming tomorrow to hopefully help But other than that everything is going good and entering the week 6 of the biobizz feed charge.

Well she just keeps surprising me I thought she was close but she just keeps getting bigger and thicker and stinkier so he’ll yeah. She is getting some beastie blooms nothing else at this point.
