7/11 It's pouring. We got like 2 in of rain. I compared the flowering with that of the mendo breath I grew in a previous journal and they are real close. Tjat was DONE DONE in September. Judging by the small preflowers they are going to be ready approximately around the same time. I think I'm going to have a middle September harvest with some and some will go to October. Realistically, I should've changed this to flower. I like to call it "the stretch" though. Plants are stretching like a mother fucker. Seems like the less I fuck with them the better they do! No nutes yet. I'm going on vacation for a week and I think I won't feed before I leave either. Plants don't look like they are lacking in anything. Just because I have tons of nutes doesn't mean I need to use them. Still need to put up the secondary supports for flower. Went over after a break in the rain. Went through each plant one by one. Most had leaves that were either turning yellow or yellow at the bottom interior. I only removed leaves that were dead or dieing. I should probably have degoliated more but I'm doing the KISS method this year. Things seem to be doing good that way. Some minor pests. I found a slug but put out slug bait for those and earwigs. Noticed a few white flies and multi color flies (probably fungus knats but they are up at the top, not down by the soil. I'm going to think about it and do some research. Damage is so MINIMAL and pests are MINIMAL that im holding off spraying. I mat start nutes tomorrow though. I'm uncertain on a lot of things. I need to meditate on it. Just because those interior leaves died the plants are still a LUSH dark green so I think they're alright. It's going really good but I'm going to be on vacation for a week. I can still monitor daily with my camera's and my family that is watching them will FaceTime me every morning and show me what's going on. They know what they're doing and if something arises I have BASICALLY a growers union in my town. All family. We look after each other. That's the only reason I considered even going. However, the event horizons, sherb pie, toasted toffy and AT LEAST 1 GMO "LOOK" like they will be flowering early. Like I said they look similar to a mendo breath pheno on another diary that finished in September. We shall see. I'm excited that's for sure! 7/12 So far no rain! Super hot and muggy. Killed a jpn beetle and a moth larvae this morning and another beetle this afternoon. I'm seeing SOME pest damage which makes me want to spray before some of these plants take off flowering. There isn't much damage and tje birds sit on the top just WAITING for a chance to swoop in and grab something. I've seen tons of wasps tjis year. I killed a snail yesterday and put out slug bait around my pallets. I'm leaving early tomorrow. I'm CONSIDERING doing an application of Cap'n Jack's before I leave. I'm not sure. I made little DIY videos for dad and I hope he follows them. If not I'll have another grower come help. With all the rain I noticed some white flies when I shook a couple plants. I don't have time to really deal with it right now. There were only a few and I think spinosad would kill those too. Either way it will be fine. I can monitor via camera. I can even hit an alarm that goes to four different people. Still. I don't like leaving my girls. Especially in this heat. 7/13 Left early for a short vacation. Just got a picture saying it's sunny there and my plants are doing good. I'm lucky to havecthe crew that I do. I'm sure if I asked they'd put up yellow sticky traps. That's something I may consider. 7/14 Dad said it Rained last night and driving down here it was just PURE SHEET RAIN. He sent me pics I uploaded and everything looks GREAT! gonna get sun after all that rain and wind. They are gonna explode! 7/15 Still on Vacation. Dad showed me the plants and said they looked a little dry so I had him use the 4 GALLONS OF WATER I HAD PREMIXED FOR HIM TO WATER THE GARDEN. This way each plant gets a half gallon. It's supposed to be in the 90's with no rain tonight. Rains euppised to come tomorrow but I've seen how fast a bag can dry out in ONE day with super hot weather and high winds. The wind blows through the bag drying the medium out. Dad's right. Things do look amazing. I'm having fun but it will be nice to get back and see if I was right and those few plants are trying to flower. Looks just like those two mendo phenomes that flowered early. 7/16 still on vacation. Got a nice rain for the plants. Not much though. 7/17 Had DAD WATER FOUR GALLONS ON THE GARDEN. ANOTHER HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT. I really miss my girls. I'm ready to get going and start doing the things that need to be done. Few more days and I'll be home with my pretty ladies. Last time I came back to nice little flowers. They looked about in the same stage when I left. I love early finishers. They're stretching thsts for sure.

Aug 22 - plant fed yesterday a.m., then got rained-on ALL NIGHT - “week 2 Flower”, end of the week will see a Defoliation of sorts. Plant was Schwazzed re: 70% removal of Fan Leaves on day 1 of Flower. Targeting day 20 (we’re at 15) 23rd - plant grew 6cm, basically over-nite!!! Wow 25th - Microbe Tea brewing for tomorrow - Pistils are appearing… 26th - rain overnite, plant is “still”Dry-side of Medium, breakfast time; 1 gal. Posted above. - !!! Cali Crasher finally exceeded expectations and has surpassed the One Metre tall mark. Measured from the orig height, of the original soil via green wire for LST poking through the side of Fabric pot. Its a beaUtiful plant *** tested the run-off from the Feed this morning, its been a while. Run-off = < 3000ppm, so the plant was flushed till ppm dropped below 1500. Yep, it took 5 gal of pH’d water. The Last gallon (5th one) included the bloom nutes, a 2nd time, due to the Flush. That final gallon equaled 1000ppm - next week sees a Large-leaf schwazze on 31st (20days since orig schwazze). Any key, medium-sized shadow-maker gets yanked as well. Still gonna call it a 70% schwazze 28th - last day of week 2 in Flower - Nutes for Breakfast 1gal - really happy this beast climbed over the Metre-mark this week

Gorilla Jealousy F1 is growing great. She has loads if med sized frost colas developed. She is actively working on bulking now. Ever since she got hungry and started a early fade. I increased her feed to stop it. Looks like she took to it well. She did get a bit tall for my liking in this tent. So I am not running the light at 100 percent. It gets too warm when the tent is really full and it being Sumner. Everything is looking great. I got my humidity under control. From now on there is only H2O without fertilizer. But I think my gorilla is a little too brown. I really hope it has to be that way. Otherwise all the other ladies are looking great.

Another week of pretty consistent rain, haven’t had to water much. The plants definitely seem to be entering the flowering stretch as the branches are filling out and stretching towards the sun. Continuous rain has led to overall damp soil, will treat top soil with trifecta to help against bugs laying eggs in soil due to moisture

Good morning everyone, today is day 29f! Moving right along the girls are super healthy and looking great! Last week like a broken record we alternated watering with fish shit and silica although I did add an 1/8 teaspoon of kelp extract with the fish shit watering, Read a lot about it and feel like it could be beneficial! Also did my biweekly top dress of half dose Gaia green, I feel like it’s definitely been better to add less bi weekly instead of full dose monthly to allow for a never ending supply of nutes rather than having it run out then wait for it to cook and work into soil, gonna stick with it in the future. That’s about it really, we are on cruise control and they are starting to bulk up, the 2 permafrost seem to be a few days ahead of the jingle cookie or they are just going to be the fatter flowers, time will tell! Changed my light cycle to 20/4, need to add a heater for when the lights are off as I've noticed the temperature drops really quickly and moving my intake tubing into a warm room wasn't cutting it. I defoliated some leafs that were obstructing light which seems to help as they have certainly bushed out.. Starting to each get there own distinct smells and looks. I've started to add 2 tea spoons of epsom salt and green tea to my feed which the plants seem to like, time will only tell I suppose and this is a learning journey for me so why not try different organic methods 💚 Really excited to see how these turn out and smoke something I know exactly what's been put into it 😍

North lights is doing good. She is just about bulking and will be switched to ph water in a few days. She has a earthy citrus aroma. Everything has been going good. Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! Hi guys, Hope you are all doing well in these difficult times the upside is you can spend more time on this amazing hobby of ours. Another week has passed and i have a few updates we are still growing on a 24 light schedule and im thinking about switching to 18-6 for the following week-week and a half of veg fase, The growth is good but they are not very thirsty which concerns me a little but we will see what will happen. 3 of the plants have a little defect which shows it self in weird looking leaves and stunned growth don't know what is up with that but we will also see what the future brings, experience tells me that although the plant may look a little retarted that does not mean that these will not grow to be amazing plants with a big harvest very curious to see how they are going to develop further down the road. I stopped giving the Hy-pro Terra i love the company and their products but there is something with the Terra line that does not make me happy although it's very easy to use just one component as a base and a few optional additives it doens't give me the results i expect so i made the switch to Hy-pro Hydro Part A+B and within a day or 3 the plants have a fuller green color and the development of the plant overall is very noticeable and the stem is getting steurdier and thicker. As for the lights they are still hanging on the same height as i started and i gave it a little more power the plants are stretching towards the light just like i wanted and when i made the switch to 12-12 i will gradually move the light lower untill it's about 30-35 cm above tha canopy and i may or may not take out met scrog netting i haven't decided yet. This week or a bit more was absolutely fucked up. Heavy rain and cold strong winds every day, but it is getting better now. Plants keep growing taller, except for White Whidow, which is the only one whos flowering well at the moment.

Bit more progress this week. I feel it is slow growing for whatever reason. Hopefully she will pick up in the coming weeks.
