Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

So yeh this weeks been good. This is the first flowering entry even tho they’ve been on a 12/12 cycle for about a week now because I wanted to at least see pre flowers before I started the flower entries. I now see a few but not on all plants. Not long tho I suspect. Everything is going great. These are the tallest plants at the mo and they are just preying too the light. They look so beautiful. I did lollipop them and spread the growth nodes out quite a bit with LSTing and they’ve responded beautifully. It’s such a relief coming from photos to know i can make a couple mistakes if I like and if I don’t make any my god do they reward you and respond well!!! I’ll be going back in at day 42 of flower to tidy up again but they are good for now 👍

Today is day 72 from seed!! This week went real well , 2 of the Forbiddin Runtz have been getting flushed an the rest will also start flush through this next week, I can’t believe the smell of this combo strain,, super fruity smelling an all are super sticky!! Stay tuned for next week yall !

So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn''t getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don''t know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3 months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not and will not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. Since that day I treated her soooo bad: just sometimes water, nearly no fertilizer, placed her inside a tent, in a glass house and sometimes even outside for days... I totally forgot when she started to bloom or how long she was even growing.

Week one Seeds Soaked For about 18 taproot exposed planted the seeds in Jiffy Pods That planted the pods into SoHum Living Soil in 5 Gallon bags. I'm not going to use much chemicals because it started burning my last grow so just water, airflow and lights. If anyone has a suggestion on anything they see please let me know, still a newbie. 2/25/25 these plants are exploding with growth. all dark green and super happy. will be giving them another week and then switch them to 12/12 2/27/25 these plants are absolutely exploding with growth right 2/28/25 defoliating and tucking leaves. theyre all so lush and bushy. these genetics are surprising me after this transplant. theyre absolutely loving life right 3/2/25 these plants are growing visibly each day. i switched them to 12/12 today even though theyre only in the veg tent. after a couple more weeks, ill move them into the flower tent. so 2-3 weeks under a small 150 watt light, and then move them under a 300 watt light to finish
