Cali crasher is growing well under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She got neem oil sprayed this week when the next grow space got infected with russet mites. So I treated everything not flowering to be safe. She didn't get training after the spraying. It was stressful enough as the leaves are showing. She did get a fresh solution change for first time. I Should see a lot of new growth comming in the next few weeks. Everything is about as good as expected. 35 days since switching to 12/12, and the Trop Cherry lady is showing her true beauty. The leaves are gradually turning purple, and resin production is in full swing. Watering has been limited to dark molasses and a few microbes to keep the soil active 🍀🌲

Day 23 The third week of flowering is complete. Most of the height growth is finished. Time for a radical defoliation. The girls look great. Unfortunately, Kush has formed hermaphrodites on the flowers in the shade. I hope that I have removed them all. The lamp will be raised to 100% output in two stages.

This week is all about the buds gaining weight, and hopefully starting to join together to form big long colars but we’ll have to wait and see due to the slow start to flower.

It came into my head last night a migjt have been under feeding them by mixing enough feed for 10 litres of water instead of the 20 i meant to account for i will give them a full dose on the same feed as last week 4ml per 10 litre and 1ml of pk for the 1st feed tnis week and see how they look 🤯

We are at the beginning of the 9th week of flowering. The trichomes are slowly beginning to change color. I'm now going on vacation for 9 days, I couldn't have planned it any shittier. But anyway, I've decided to keep them growing and then probably harvest them straight after my vacation.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Well, I managed to do something that I really didn't expect :) the yield is small, just like the pot :) it was a wonderful trip ;) but from now on I will only grow it in big pots :) good luck to everyone :) I will add weight when it is ready :)

Las plantas llevan 30 días de vida, acabo de trasplantar a tiestos de 11 litros, depues de un par de días de estrés por el trasplante se espabilarán y empezarán a crecer como locas, creo que en una semana más a 18h alcanzarán un buen tamaño para pasar a floración. En los tiestos de 11 litros e añadido sustrato light mix mezclado con guano, humus y nutrihemp. Realizó la mezcla y relleno tiestos y trasplanto las plantas ai. La kritikal de growbarato a salido mongola pero se ve robusta y se está poniendo bien , voy a dejarla para ver qué sale. También e puesto un esqueje de skittles ya que supuestamente es 80% indica y tendrá el mismo tiempo de floración que las OG kush y Cream caramel. A si que ya veremos más adelante que pasa. Bueno amigos un saludo y buenos humos!😎 Esta semana e aprovechado para fumigar con preventivos, utilizó propolix de trabe , que va muy bien para prevenir los hongos como el oidio,botrithis, etc…. Añado 2 ml/L y empapó bien media hora antes de que se enciendan los focos, Este proceso lo repito cada 15 / días asta la segunda semana de floración que dejó de echarle.

Day 38. Transitioning into

A lot of rain and wind, continuously. Temps have dropped as well. I’m reading another week or two to chop this plants. Sativa dominant hybrids did the best, the Fastberry and the banana purple punch did not really develop as the other two. In specifics the cbd crack developed sizable buds, and the blue dream as well, the flowers are not as developed tight and dense as in the indoor grow. A bit of fox-tailing nothing too expressive. Minimal work, as per the setup chosen, an no extra nutes this week.

Day 92. All looking good. They will be getting Flushed from now on. Canazym to help flush roots. Rezin for some full taste. Day 93. Everything on point. Letting them do their thing; waiting for the leaves to get more of a lighter green. Day 94. Flushed Fed 4 L - 4.5 L each with 10-20% runoff. They are finishing up; Fan Leaves are yellowing and drying up. Trichomes are milky and really Amber on others. The 2 Diesel are still behind by about 10 days when compared to others. Day 95. Waiting for some to finish up. Will be harvesting in the next 10 days. Day 96. Flushed fed 4 L - 4.5 L each with 10-20% runoff. Day 97. Some fan leaves on some plants are yellow with brown spots, looks bad but they are comming to an end. Not worried. Day 98. Flushed fed 4 L - 4.5 L each with 10-20% runoff.

Day 51, plants were transplanted in fox farm ocean forest, so have not fed nutrients yet. just microbials and compost tea. Flipped light to 12/12.
