Had some issues, she got too big for her 5 gallon pot. Her roots were poking out of the bottom of the fabric. Had to transplant and prune the roots. Now she’s in a 20 gallon and she’s being flipped to flower. As you see she bounced back just fine.

Seeds were inside a glass of water for 2 days and then in a paper towel until they were long enough to be planted in soil. The soil is a light soil, I think is Top Crop. I added a little of mycorrhyzal fungi to the light soil with another little of trichoderma powder and diatomaceus earth. I also added some well cocco coir and that was it. With this gentle mix the medium of this babies will be just fine. In the first irrigation I'll add a bit of molasses like top candy to feed our micro friends and a root stimulator like top deeper.

Alrighty, the fun part’s over—now it’s time to dial things in. The plants seem to have used up the nutrients in the soil and now require a different feeding approach for the flowering stage. But hey, you’ve got to grow to know, and the fix is simple. From now on, I’m fertilizing once a week with BioBizz organic nutrients, following the provided feeding schedule. I’m sticking to the basic components only. I’ve also added some calcium and magnesium, as the lower fan leaves are showing signs of deficiency. Since the plants have become quite bushy, I pruned the lower third over a few sessions—spreading out the stress and avoiding cutting too much at once. Lastly, I’ve set the oscillating fan to medium intensity to prevent stagnant air. The duct fan is now tuned to maintain a VPD between 0.7 and 0.8 kPa.

Also one of the prettiest plants i have grown, the leaves turned out completely dark purple/black at the end of flower. The terpenes on this plant are incredible. Heeey! 👋 It's week two and everything went quite well I believe! The girls are growing and they look healthy! 💪 During the first days this week and while I was checking them I started to think how I could improve (and fix) what I did in my previous grow, specifically the veg. phase. I wasn't the brightest person in my previous grow because I left the lights at their maximum power during this phase to increase the overall heat of the tent (it was a winter where I live) and while that idea made total sense to me at that time later I found out that was a not the best idea at all 😰. By doing what I did it meant my plants were receiving way more energy they could handle and that meant the plants didn't grow as much as they could 😱😭 So, how could I improve that this time? The best way was to get a PAR meter so I could measure how much light my babies are receiving but those are expensive so the best option after was using the lux meter (or rather the RGB brightness sensor) that's available in my phone (most phones come with one) and by doing that I get a rough idea how much food my babies were receiving (in lux tho, not the best method but it helps to get an idea) 👌 The first days Pistachio and Matcha were getting about 8000 lux and as the week progressed I ended near 18000. Some websites said that amount was acceptable for young plants (they do not talk about the quality of the light tho). For the next week I plan to reach 24000 lux and stay around that 😊 I also think this week I'll move the girls to a slightly bigger pot and with each transplant I'll keep using mycorhizes (Mico Root are mycorhizes) to help the root development. We began to rinse the roots to get rid of excesses! The explosion of these thus brilliant -looking tricomes seems to come from other planets! I can't wait to enjoy that cotton candy! 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈

Day 49

The plant who's branched snapped is completely healed and honestly looks to be the strongest and healthiest of all the plants. OG is a little bush, but thats expected. She should stretch perfectly in flower. Had to remove the fan (hurricaine 16") because it was giving windburn to the plants even though it was barely on them and on the lowest speed. I'll readd it when I put them in the tent next week. Day 31: this week the plants have really grown. King Kong p2 has almost doubled her size. I just ordered my 4x4x6 tent and a 2000w full spectrum LED and will be moving the ladies to flower at the end of next week. Day 33: added a humidifier, humidifier automatic controller, and a 2000w full spectrum LED.

These girls continue to flourish and ripen. They are lined up to finish in 8 weeks as opposed to nine as advertised. A real positive. Having said that I'm starting UVB lights as two hours per mid day tomorrow. I'll slowing increase the amount of time until the end of the grow. Add molasses to the top watering mix. Added optiveg for the chitin and finishing nutrients. The girls are really frosty and sticky already. But no blueberry smell yet. I still have high hopes for blueberry phenos.

well, another week goes by and it's growing not like I expected hehehe but that's ok, living and learning, and for now I'll just wait for this cycle to end to start a new one and post it here and I'll tell you right away that I ordered a kit advanced nutrients starter and will test it on the new cycle. =D

Everything I do has a purpose. I try not to be malace and always come with a open heart and mind. This was an incredibly fun grow went by very fast. Day 43/Flower Day 15 - Stretch, stretch and more stretch. Literally have all my headspace taken up and thats using flat LED Bars! Its not for want of light, these things HAVE to be getting a DLI over 45 now if not near 50 (I need to do a test)!!! Defs going to invest in 2 Royal Blue LED Bars for next grow. As soon as I bend over/tie down one set of big pushers, another pair start up that were not being shaded/shadowed by the previous set. Worried too with the stretch being as severe, the yield will suffer! As noted in comments, will be venting the building the grow tent is in better very soon but when I can get that done is another thing!!! Looks like I am going to have to pull my extraction out of the tent and run a blow through the carbon filter and get some more ratchet hangers to give me an extra 9-12"!!! Has to be Heat/Humidity and then the feed from the lights giving them what they need. Luckily, I am due to be receiving a 6" AC Infinity Setup tomorrow so may be the way to set it up just for the last 8 weeks of the grow. Also had 2 brand new RAM 7" Oscillating fans pack up within a few hours of each other...not 4 weeks old and they're done! The Sweet Cherry Pie defs not setting buds as quick as the Red Hot Cookies...they look a few days to a week behind. This also probably means the last of growing different strains in the same tent! I don't have the space/means to set up a drying tent and need to use the grow space for that so need them to finish the same time. Both these are supposed to be a same week finisher but with the slower budset, I don't know (@Kagonisss, did you notice a difference in the bud setting between the Red Hot Cookies and the Sweet Cherry Pie???) - I could over-ripen the RHC or take the SCP when a bit under. Basically, that's it though. Nothing more to report other than things I have to engineer to get around! From the looks of it, I'll have no room to get my UVB tube in when the time comes but, dunno...we'll see. Have upped the Bloom Nutes now to be higher than the base to fuel the initial flower set. Have a bit of lower leaf fall off from lack of light/plants using the reserves and probs going to have to do a bit of a defoliate by the end of the week to settle humidity and have them top buds concentrated on. Apart from that, Happy Growing all!!! 💪
