This week was mostly about getting everything ready for the vegetative phase. I will start to add some nutrients this week. I will first flush out most of the old water that has been running through the system for about 2 weeks now. When the plants get a little bigger I will add some nutrients and try get my EC level up to around 0.7 with the help from the very supportive people over at EHG nutrients. They have offered to sponsor me through this grow with nutrients which will be of great help. They are a local South African company, so for any one from South Africa 🇿🇦 please check them out. I have added an oscillating fan to add to the airflow en strengthen my seedlings whilst they start to grow stronger. Due to my humidity being a bit lower than what I want it to be, I have decided to add an air purifier/humidifier which will hopefully add some humidity to the tent. I am aiming for about 65% RH and will be monitoring this closely. My lights are currently at 40% strength. I am making use of a panel heater to break the winter cold and will be aiming to be at around 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit). I have added an Mycelium bag which is an alternative way to add extra co2 to your grow. This helps the plant to absorb nutrients better and handle the temperatures a bit better. I will be adding photos as the week continues.

Very saddened by the turn of events, 3 herms, 2 different grow environments, but each tent had another strain growing along with it. No seeds or problems with the Cookies strain… I had no power outages, no light leaks, no schedule changes, and performed relatively little defoliation during flower. To me, this cannot be attributed to stress, as they showed no sign of stress or deficiency’s throughout the grow. Long story short, booooooo.

Grew really easy chunky and frosty didn’t stretch hardly at all and very close nodes which had gave me really dense buds

Third week flowering 💪 More buds, also on the lower part of the plants, thanks to the intense defoliation of last week 😍. This week I treated the plants a second time against the spider mites invasion of last week. Everything is under control now 😉 I replaced my humidifier with my dehumidifier 😊 👆 Largest plants = Triple G = 125cm 👇 Smallest plants = Wedding Gelato = 85cm

Struggled to maintain stretch but just gotta work with her.. didn't start showing signs of flower until 2 weeks into flipping lights to 12/12.

2nd week of flower.... Stretching well and very even thanks to the scrog as one branch will always seem to go crazy with its stretch so just weave it back through the net and bring it back down to canopy height. 3 ml 3ml grow n bloom were now up too and no burnt tips so I think were in the sweet spot at the moment and reading her very well!! A field of tops is what we like and a field of tops is what we see thanks to all our lst bending and tying down and then the introduction of the net has given us our desired result and I would give it a solid 8 out of 10 for execution this time round so I'm really happy with how it's going so far. The genetics are resilient and resistant to alot so if your harm your wedding gelatos you really need to think about dialing it back a touch and giving her the freedom she wants. Smell is amazing and we ain't even got bud yet!!! @rqs they really have done wonders creating this strain and I reccomend to all gardeners high-ly 😉 The rqs easy boost organic nutrition: (only using on one plant as a test run) Has worked brilliant so far throughout these first 7 weeks but have noticed some fading on a couple fan leaves.. I had the option of topping it up by sprinkling more granules on the top soil or using the easy booster and I chose the latter and within a day or so I'm noticing the health is fully restored and all new growth is a lovely healthy green.... half way through my verdict is it's a very good product and makes feeding time easy and quicker for the gardener so at this moment in time I can say it's something worth investing in.. D-63 : everything is ko untill now ! A litle stress is visible on the leaves of the Lemon Kix that are abit too yellow. Then I set the Ph a litle bit lower with 6.3 couple of days ago. New leaves are looking ok. I think there still 2-3 weeks for the lemon kix, 1-2 weeks for the others. I'm checking the trichomes every days. Nothing much to do but removing the leaves that obstruct the light, watering and wait ! D-68 : Mokum's Tulip is gone for 48h of darkness. Harvest is coming on wednesday. Lemon Kix : is ok. A bit thirsty. Pinapple Express Young : Going great. Watching the trichomes everyday. I think the harvest could be next week-end. Pinapple Express Old : Look at this faxtailed beauty !!! She's bigger than my fist with alooooot of thricomes. She's the oldest, but she could be the last to harvest ! She's amazing.

Salut amis cultivateurs 🍁 On es enfin en semaine 4 de floraison. On peut voir que la GC et la SB on énormément évoluer et surtout gonfler. Après avoir discuté énormément avec une personne sur le site, j'ai changé ma façon de faire sur les arrosage. Et comment dire que je suis étonné de voir comment elle ont réagi 😱 super bien et pourtant je force je force . Tous les jours je leurs donne 2L chacune et tout les jours et pompe au maximum ce que je leur file . Aucun problème d'humidité, ou carence .. J'ai tout de même effectué une cure de calmag pour éventuellement contré ce fort apport en nutriments. 2024-08-31 They may have stopped to stretch, iam not sure, but i think so, you can see how the buds are forming, and they are already purple, thats fun leaves are changing color thats the tribute to the last 2 days where it was very hot and sunny, and tehy needed lots drinks and the big growth costed some leaves too. but anyways, not a Problem at all the Girl in the garden has more yellow leaves. BREEDER INFORMATION The cross of Frisian Dew with DucksFoot created Frisian Duck. It has such name due its characteristic leaf shape that looks like a duck's traces. The plant has a good growth in greenhouses and outdoors and also indoors. The strain is easy to grow and suit for begginers. It is harvested at the start of October outdoor and after 8 weeks of flowering indoor. The plant reaches 1.5 m indoor or 2.5 m in height outdoor. It demonstrates purple colors during a blooming and looks like a christmas tree. Frisian Duck develops compact buds. The strain has spicy aromas and tastes of pine, citrus and fresh wood.
