The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50ยฐ F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 93ยฐF with sunny clear skies. I watered 4-5 gallons each pot twice, from the well. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 95ยฐF with clear sunny skies. It was super hot today. I watered each pot 4-5 gallons twice. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 95ยฐF. It felt like 97ยฐF. We had super clear sunny skies. The girls are loving the sunshine and slightly less humidity. I watered twice @4-5 gallons per pot. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 90ยฐF with super clear sunny skies. The temperature was more comfortable at 90ยฐ today because we had less humidity. I watered 4-5 gallons per pot from the well. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 81ยฐF with partly cloudy skies. The girls are still thirsty. I watered 4-5 gallons per pot once. These girls roots have tapped through these pots and into the soil. Unless it's just super hot watering once is enough. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 83ยฐ with clear sunny skies. I watered 4-5 gallons once per pot. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 79ยฐF with clear sunny skies. I watered once 4-5 gallons of well water per pot. The girls are thirsty but the heat isn't sucking the water out of the pots. The girls are in full vegative phase 2 and continue to gain height. This week was a great success. The weather was very pleasant. We had a few hot days but mostly cool fall type weather. The defoliation and treatment of powdery mildew with Growers Ally fungicide ended that problem. These plants do have a high level of resistance but not immunity. I'll continue to treat once a week. Most growers don't talk about their fungal pathogens or treatment of them. Outdoors, if your plants aren't immune (many fastbuds I've grown from seed have been) then this is an issue you'll deal with if you have cool humid nights. There are many treatments and preventatives and some are scarey. My grows are all organic and I carefully chose Growers Ally fungicide as I smoke these plants and don't want anything scarey in(systemic) or on them. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my grow.

The cannabis plant is generally growing well and is progressing as expected during the flowering stage. Despite the positive overall growth, brown spots have appeared on some of the leaves and I dont really know what it is. While the appearance of brown spots is concerning, the overall health of the cannabis plant remains good. With careful monitoring and appropriate adjustments, the plant should continue to develop successfully. It will be exciting to see how the plant progresses as it matures, even if its growth rate is somewhat slower than expected.

The second week of vegetation is over and watching the plant grow is a rewarding experience for me. Now that the plant is well-established, it is time to begin training it. This involves LST to ensure it reaches its full potential in this case. I look forward to discovering what this plant will become ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜Š

It's been a challenging couple of weeks, but things are looking up! After some light stress, the plants have rebounded beautifully. Last week, I gradually increased the light intensity from 67% to 80%, and we're now into the second week of a reduced 12-hour light schedule. Every strain is thriving, and the tent is filling out nicely. The bonus auto-flower is particularly impressive, budding out at an incredible rate. A bit of light stress training has led to some stunning bud sites. The smell is strong, and the sticky resin is already starting to showโ€”promising signs of a great yield ahead! Side note: Took pictures and videos with the tent lights off and camera light. It looks like an entirely different plant. The Trichomes reflect so much stronger with the cell LED when staring straight on.

~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!๐Ÿคฏ I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Papaya Sherbet flowers deliver a signature flavor of premium cannabis with subtle citrus undertones that emerge upon inhaling. During growth, her aroma makes for a sweet yet pleasantly bitter fragrance, giving you an idea of what the smoke will taste like. Notably stress-resistant, Papaya Sherbet is a great choice for growers working in challenging environments. She is very forgiving and rebounds quickly from any adversity, allowing growers the freedom to experiment with confidence that she will take everything like a champion she is. This strain embodies resilience, flavor, and abundant yields in every grow cycle." Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!๐Ÿ˜ ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40'sโ„‰). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50'sโ„‰, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ’š ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/3- After eleven weeks in veg the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod has finally stopped stretching and I think that this girl's getting ready to transition into flower thank goodness! Our weather has moderated somewhat with daytime high temp's now in the 89-93โ„‰ range but it still remains very dry requiring the daily watering to continue. 8/5- Today I watered the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod as usual at sunset with around 8g of well water from the garden hose. 8/7- We finally have some much needed rain on the way in the way of a tropical system which will be bringing on and off showers from today through the 9th. As a result of this gift from above I will not have to water the rest of this week! I am going to add a 7 foot support stake next to the plant to help support her if we should get any high winds. 8/9- I'm thankful for the support stake that I installed next to the plant, then tied the plant to it as we encountered pretty strong winds yesterday and I think that without the stake, the plant may have gotten knocked over! The rain is supposed to end this evening and be sunny tomorrow so I'll be outside first thing in the morning to check on the plant to see how she made out through the storms. Hopefully next week the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod by FastBuds will be shifting gears and then the fun can begin!!! Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! ๐Ÿ’šGrowers Love!๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ™

Day 17 (starting Aug. 2nd afternoon): Will water them with a lightly enhanced RO water that was imprinted with frequencies via a PEMF coli for about one day when their day starts. After being away over the extended weekend, on day 20 ladies have grown very nicely. I topped nr# 1 and #2 after I took the photos and will give them a bit of water with Root Complex to compensate for the shock later. Sadly my brilliant control equipment has crashed completely and will not even take a photo currently. Yikes. Hope I can get it back alive this week again. Also turned the left light up by another 20%, now running at 40 W, and lifted it a bit. Eye inspection told me lights were lower here and ladies can get a bit more. At the end of their day 20, they seem to have survived the topping well. I managed to cut right above the new nodes which are already growing. Ladies are at 20 cm height before going to sleep. Day 21 shows great growth again, with lady #1 being at 22 cm now and lady #2, while being a bit less tall, extremely good side branch development. I hope that the rearranged lighting on the left side of the tent will make #1 grow a bit bushier too. Besides from that, I am really happy I tested Hesi HPE. I had such enormous success with room plants that made me want to see how Cannabis plants react to it. It will not add much to salinity, so I dared to add it quite early. While the photos are processed to compensate the lighting, I did not add much to saturation, so leaves are indeed of a very vivid, luscious green and ladies looking extremely healthy. Speed of growth has increased too as the added video shows. It also tells me lighting is enough โ€“ they are turning their leaves away right at the end of their day. I am really uncertain if I will change to usual Hesi grow fertiliser at all โ€ฆ Did a bit of LST to the lowest branches of lady #2 which spread almost to the border of her pot. Both temporary girls will leave the tent soon, so that the competitors will have maximum space to develop. Day 22, end of week 3: Outside girl went to get fresh air from now on. Wishing her luck, good weather and not a single male in the vicinity. I rearranged the lights and positioned them a bit higher. First preflower signs appeared on the ladies, so I will change the lighting phase when I return next week. Currently, I have them at 18/6, 45 cm above heads, with 80% running to a total of 80 W. I wasnโ€™t so lucky topping #2. She has only one "top side" branch now โ€ฆ But grows extremely well, so ok!

Not so much to say about this week. The condition of the plants stayed the same. Buds are starting to fatten up and smell is very noticable. This I gave them this week: Day 1 โ†’ Dry Day 2 โ†’ Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.48โ€“ ph 6.5) Day 3 โ†’ Dry Day 4 โ†’ Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients (see above for which and how much) Day 5 โ†’ Dry Day 6 โ†’ Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.45โ€“ ph 6.5) Day 7 โ†’ Dry The cobs are now at 45 cm (17.7 inch) with 296 watt โ†’ DLI 41/PPFD 949 Temperatures stayed between 21.9 โ€“ 29.1 ยฐC ( 71.4 โ€“ 84.3 ยฐF) and humidity levels between 46 โ€“ 68 % Till next week!
