8/15 - Bottom fed the plant 1/2 gallon with 1 tsp of floranova grow

25-2: Throughout the week, I'm observing two phenomena simultaneously: a portion of the upper leaves turning a lighter green and/or appearing to have a yellowish hue. One plant has curled leaves at the top of the plant but limited to one layer of leaves. The tips are yellowed with dark spots. Due to rapid growth, the plant flew too close to the sun and burned its wings, was my assessment. In other words, light burn. The leaves becoming lighter are located in several layers from the top to halfway down the plant. I suspect there is a deficiency and perform a slurry test. The EC is low at 0.24 and the pH is good at 6.3. The soil is still too wet to feed, which presents a dilemma: feed with the risk of wet feet or wait a bit longer with the risk that the deficiencies become more severe? To mitigate this, I gave foliar feeding (Terra Bloom 0.5 ml per liter) by spraying the leaves without really wetting them. I did this just after the lights were out. A day later, I first flushed the plants with a few liters of water pH 6.4 and then gave them nutrients with EC 1.3 and pH 6.4: Terra Bloom (+/- 4 ml per liter), Sugar Royal (1 ml per liter), and a tiny bit of Great White and orthosilicic acid. And hung the lights back at 30 cm. It seems to be working because I see the color coming back slightly and the yellowing has at least stopped. Furthermore, I'm keeping the day and night temperature a bit higher at about 25 degrees Celsius during the day and around 21 at night. This is to limit the humidity at night and during the day to increase the VPD to about 1.45. At the end of the week I see the end of the stretch and standing 87 cm tall at average. FBA2507-week 1 of Veg This week has been wild. Once the roots made a foundation the upper growth has been explosive the last few days. Really cool to watch and see the daily growth. I introduce calmag and grow nutrients this week starting at a 1/4 strength. All in all they've responded well showing no burn what so ever. Happy Growing

How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! For me it was a bad and regular growth .. I prefer other varieties

They start looking very dense now, i flushed a day ago and instantly fed 8liters per pot with 650ppm ripen so the runoff is also in the 600 range. Now there is 9 days left with this feeding it will kick in hard now. All buds are rockhard there is no fluf anywhere in the plant as these are small plants and can only focus on nice marure buds. I love this strain i think this has a very good leaf to bud ratio and fattens up really fast also not much stretch diring the preflower. See u next week at the harvest day.

Monster plant ! So much trichomes 🙏😅 Bonus : the hermaphrodite problem was 100% resolved I removed directly passt 2 weeks everything , nothing was re-coming she focus only to do the bigger buds ever 😁🙏 and no one on the canopy was affected it's so great , so the thing is if you see that directly isolate the plant and remove everything , if you wait you're done !

shes coming along slowly but surely!!!! looking like i'll get a few decent grams of bud hahaha bout a month left so i think shell plump up a little more. again just horrible weather but its all good. shes been happy even with the cold and rain. not really much for pests either. noticed some bugs on one leaf and cut if off immediatly and hvaent seen them back so i think its all good

At the beginning of the week I found many leaves with spots on them. I think I might have had some mites. I removed almost all of the leaves and sprayed the ladies twice with CannaCure. Now everthing looks ok again at it should be only a few days until the first ones will come down. Checking trichomes everyday.

Today, I spent some time tying down branches under the net again. It’s still a tricky task as the branches are quite brittle and break easily. Fortunately, the plants recover quickly, and so far, I’ve mainly noticed new growth sprouting from where the branches broke. Watering Experiment: Too Much or Just Right? Two days ago, I decided to give each plant an additional 2 liters of water to test the effects of what felt like overwatering. The results were interesting: High Humidity: The relative humidity spiked to 74%, which I consider a minor downside. Lower Temperature: Dropped to 29°C. Explosive Growth: The plants responded with vigorous growth! Given the humidity increase, I’ve decided to water the plants heavily only once a week. This approach should give them time to rest and prevent the growth of more mushrooms in the soil—yes, I’ve spotted a few popping up from the pot’s surface. Monitoring pH and Nutrient Reservoir I’ve also noticed that the pH has crept up to 6.2, indicating that the nutrient water hardness is decreasing. This suggests it might be time for a full reservoir refresh. Tonight, I plan to inspect the reservoir and clean it out. Thankfully, my hydro pump makes draining it a quick and easy process. Observations & Next Steps Continue training and monitoring branch recovery. Stick to the adjusted watering schedule. Refresh the nutrient reservoir and recalibrate the pH if needed. The grow is progressing nicely, and the plants seem happy despite some of the challenges. Leaving them alone is not an option... If they keep growing like this, I'll take it! This weekend, I'll do some heavy pruning. For now, I’ve snapped a few stems and tied some others to see which method gives better results. I’ve done about half so far, but I need to head to bed because of work. Tomorrow evening, I’ll tackle the other half. Also, I’ll look for some more subtle zip ties.

She's doing great. The stretch has slowed down and the buds are really starting to pop. Feeding her med man brand nutrients, kind bud base 600 ppm, and bloom at a half gram per l of water approx a 1/4 teaspoon per 2l water
