Start of week 8 and the plants are crowning all over the place, except for the sativa dominate pheno. All plants will get water only for week 8 and 9 , looks like they will be ready for harvest at 9 1/2 weeks. Pheno number 2 looks to be the only one fastest to mature. So far the gavita pro 1700e is out performing 1000 watt hps hands down had to plug in the hps on days when outdoor temps is in the mid 80 degree just to get grow room temps to hit 83 to 84 degrees so co2 gets used more efficiently. Looks like the gravitas will crush it in dry weight too.

Today 23/07/22 We are two days into week 5, never talked about nutrient or water’ problems I had some leaves with few yellow marks but very small one beside that I always saw my plants green and happy, here you can see the scrog I set up yesterday not sure if this will work better but I think will help the branches grow further from the others increasing the light they riceve! I made it myself I will order one for the next grown when I will get my grow box! The watermelon is already flowering but the northern light no so today I started feeding the plants with different preparations.. I kept on giving the grow booster with a bit of bloom booster and viceversa for the watermelon! If you have any tips anything you think I’m doing wrong or you see it’s not ok let me know I don’t grow in a box I grow between the curtains and my window so the environment wasn’t always the perfect one

I will now continue to flush until harvest on 10th April by which point she should have faded nicely and used up any residual nutes. I read that the each time you water/irrigate you draw oxygen into the root zone and this promotes growth and in turn helps to increase yield and so I will endeavor to water her twice per day now until harvest. Hoping by the end of this week to see a decent bit of vegative growth. I also had a boost in growth after sprouting but has slowed down decently. Plants leaves started drooping down and one edge of leaf turned a lighter green, leaves also look wrinkled, but don’t feel dry. I was advised it was nothing to be concerned of but I want other opinions. Also started a little LST today 2/15/24

Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.

Wow wow wow... Apollo what have you guys made at SweetSeeds... My dear this strain is a monster and a keeper. Do you want regular-sized plants and buds in 8 weeks? No problem! Do you want plants that can handle any condition even as a noob? Check! This beast of a strain is out of this world and I'm over the moon with the results. I can't believe it. Normally I've seen auto's do 30 cms and some buds on top... This is simply alien tech... I think I have never seen any plant grow that fast... This is something to try if you haven't already... Completely amazed... And this is while making all sorts of mistakes: too hot, soil also too hot in nutes and temp, hotspots in tent by lacking fans, less PH buffer. Stuff I learned: - In my climate: at least 20 liter grow pots, maybe bigger. - Add hydro corn, I forgot this - Less bloodmeal and bonemeal - More perma tea since mine is now too old to use, it will rot the earth. - More often more water, in smaller pots - Better ventilation and routing of fresh air. - Light a little higher also during flower. - No training is needed, a little defoliation is enough. 18 plants, 5 strains. Each plant has 3 main buds. By means of LST I tried to make them all the same height. Because the plants have now stopped growing, leading is no longer necessary. The plants are still attached to the plant sticks with tie strips to support the buds when they get heavy later on. Lots and large leaves, and therefore a weekly large defoliation every week. The trichomes begin to appear. . The Garlic Mist plants are not that beautiful and do not have a nice flower formation. Plenty of leaves; so a lot of defoliation work. GM # 1 - 92cm - lots of leaves, Even after defoliation, the buds are actually hidden behind the leaves. GM # 6 - 76cm - better leaf / bud ratio than # 1, but the buds don't get that fat either GM # 7 - 79cm - can be compared to # 6 but buds are better developed.

So I suspect the Golden Goat to have subtle mag def. I’ve upped the Epsom salts a bit to help. Also the Mandarine XL Auto is amazing and this discoloration in its leaves I believe to be from getting handled and snagging on the trellis when bending through. I try to be delicate, but it shows. I’ve not been taking meticulous account of things but here’s as of day 19… Day 19: Low/High - 66F at night, 76F during the day. Moisture Levels: set @ 56% RH Moisture level fluctuations from 54%-68% depending on time and temperature as well as moisture levels in the pot itself. As the pot gets dry I will lower the VPD a bit. Fly Traps: CLEAN-w/ 2 fungus gnats (1/week) both located @ MXL (MXL= Mandarine XL Auto) No signs of mold or mildew. Ventilation Setting: Humidity 57% RH Light Intensity (Dimmer Switch @ 75%) 3” tall. The Critical Purple Autoflower shares the tent: while exhibiting signs similar to mosaic virus, I believe this to not be the case, and instead a genetic pigment deformation possibly induced from the high UV LED lights. I’m only basing this theory of of other anecdotes. I’m not willing to test the contagion properties, but I’m going to pop a seed for just that purpose. Until then I wear gloves or wash hands and sterilize equipment before and after each plant until I can rule out a contagion or not. Planing to update my feed and get some ppm measurements. Also I’m thinking the MXL is ready for a little Regalia and a foliar feed. Only thing is a 2 hour window from 3-5am! But I will feed a little Regalia and Venerate sometime this week.

Beautiful looking pheno of ak420 by seedstockers guys this one just line the pheno #1 is showing beautiful purple colors on the leafs, strong smell, not as strong as amnesia and haze but very sweet and flowery aromas, let's see how this wonderful lady performs! 💎👨‍🌾😋💚❤️💛

Aug 23: Sunday Punch EV is very fast and is getting close to ready. The buds are getting quite big and are weighing down the branches. Without the Scrog net she would be too floppy for all these buds. Plants are a bit too green lately so maybe there’s too much N still, but she’ll grow out of it. For pH adjustments I use apple cider vinegar normally but I ran out last week and was using malt vinegar. That must be one of the sources of excess N so I switched to regular white vinegar. Anyway, she is a very impressive plant. Aug 27: getting noticeably frostier. Hot again today. Increased water volume to about 9 L per day done as three 3 L waterings in morning, afternoon and finally in evening. Adding potassium silicate still to water and adjusting pH with vinegar and then adding a squirt of Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap as a wetting agent (surfactant) and the smell supposedly keeps bugs away. Unfortunately there are hardly any insects around any more, so, yay. Aug 28: flash pics before using red light. Don’t do flash pics of your plants if you don’t follow it up with a red light. Still seems a bit risky but this is the fourth year doing it and it seems fine.

Aubergine is doing well. She's bulking up a little more with flower. I gave her some homemade compost since she's looking hungry. One of the sets of buds has some purpling on it that I tried to show in the pictures. No tomato roof this week, my plans didn't work out so I have to make a trip to Lowe's. Next week hopefully before the cold and rain sets in.

These girls have had a hard time dealing with my learning curb to soil/organic. This week they turned a page. The biggest ones nearly doubled in height. The one that got ate during week too has finally took off. I didn't top so we will see how that turns out letting her go all natural. Great week for the plants. Next week is going to be stupid hot but he's fastbuds can handle it.

Well yesterday I cut the girls down 18/12. Had some fun times (first time I've been in a tent with 3 girls lol)🤣. It's been 4 months since they sprouted and for a first grow it's been very eventful to say the least. I'll be keeping you posted with the dry weight in about 10-14 days growmies.
