It's Chop Day! I've taken her down and placed the flowers on a drying rack at the top of my grow space above the lights. Since I've got the RH around 55% anyways it should be a fine drying environment for now. The was a beautiful plant and super easy to grow. I recommend that anyone interested in a high CBD, super low THC strain give this one a try. I'll write a full review on my final harvest diary in about 3-4 weeks. Thanks for following along while I grew my first autoflower and my first CBD strain. Stay tuned.

Nothing much to say about my grow this week. Gave he a flush with pH 6.0 to kick off the week. Day 86..... Gave her a feeding today a whole gallon. Ive been doing some research and maybe I'm feeding my plants a little too much nutrients. So from now on I will be feeding a lot less and the next day I will feed just plain water. So my plants will get nutrients every 3 or 4 days. I also bought a few advanced nutrients supplements which I'll be experimenting with. Day 87... Gave her a feeding today of advanced nutrients Nirvana and voodoo juice and pH to 5.9. Day 88.....gave her a 2l feeding today of nutrients. Also defoliated some of her big fan leaves.

Slowly going towards the finish with this beautiful run. I will give them slowly less nutrients over the next week before than flushing this ladys.

I have introduced a second bottle of CO2 to pump flowering weeks, I have cut off nutrients completely to get rid of nutes burn, plants are been fed PH water only. Nine weeks since the switch and the Runtz have had 7 weeks of actual flowering. I've noticed more trichomes were produced, wich I checked and most of them were still clear, maybe 10-20% was getting milky and very few were amber. I want to see way more amber before harvest, so +/- 70 days of 12/12 will be needed. This week was the last time I gave them nutrients. That was on the first day. The rest of the week I gave them ph adjusted tapwater every other day. (ec 0.5 – ph 6.24) Next week I'll start flushing with ec levels of 0.3 For that I will use a mix of tap water and demineralized water. 3 liters(0.8 gallon) tapwater and 2 liters (0.5 gallon) of demineralized water gives a 0.3 ec level. The distance between the cobs and the plants got a bit higher, from 48cm(19inch) to 55cm (21.5 inch) and the power of the cobs was reduced to 300watt. We got roots, I had a brief PM scare but it ended up being just a salt buildup from spraying the clones with light GH nutrients.

2024-11-27 to 2024-12-02 The first time I grew Chernobyl, the plant was dense and unruly with thick, lush vegetation. In fact, the plant took up so much room in my tent that I have it to a friend to finish outdoor. It showed signs of bud rot early in the flowering period and luckily, most of it was saved from itself. In addition, the stems of this strain are more hollow and brittle, gaining thickness quickly and making Low Stress Training a difficult task that requires patience when working the branches around the LST clips. I have broken many branches on a Chernobyl plant even when applying care and caution. It requires getting the plant to the shape and size you need early, so that silica can be added to strengthen the branches in prep for those killer nugs. They are taking about .5 gallons of feed every other day.

I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

Start 25/10/2024 Harvest Day 74 - 06/01/2025 92 cm jet fuel was the taller No flush, flawless finish 2 ml a week an half before harvest then just watering with pH 8.
