Flowering Week 24: Autumn Whispers & Yellow Leaf Mysteries
Update: 28.08.2025 | Day 171
What’s good, Growmies? Hope your own gardens are treating you right as summer starts to fade. Temps are dipping to around 20°C here, and the ladies are feeling the shift. Didn’t do much this week – sometimes less is more.
Noticed a few things, though:
Zero pests – and I mean clean – but up on Blueberry’s top budsites, some yellow leaves are showin'. Doesn’t look like nitrogen – more like iron maybe? Wondering if the Bokashi juice dropped the pH a bit too hard. Thought about breakin' out the mineral nutes (Terra Aquatica TriPart flashed through my mind), but nah… I’m stickin' to the organic path. What do you guys think?
Durban Poison
Buds are bulkin' up nice – fattenin' by the day. Purple pistils poppin’ on every cola. Looks killer. Deeper inside the canopy, some lower yellow leaves (classic nitrogen fade), but nothin' to stress over. She’s healthy where it counts.
Blueberry
Still stretchin' – slowly but surely. More pistils showin' now, and yeah, those calyxes are takin' on a sweet purple hue. Smell’s still light – neighbors are safe… for now.
Next Steps
- Keep an eye on that iron-like yellowing – act if it spreads
- Stay vigilant for pests tryna hide in new buds
- Keep pickin' off old leaves – mold prevention is key
- Maybe one more light defoliation on Durban – open her up just a touch more
That’s all for this week, folks.
Catch y’all next time.
