Growing at her own pace. Lights are about 40 inches away. Day 4 I realize that my solo cup has tons of holes in it. This means the roots will grow through the cup and when I went to transplant it'd rip the roots. I pulled the cup up and there were only a 3 or so roots sticking out of 60+ holes. When I went to transplant I fucked up and the soil spilled everywhere and she toppled over and got fucked up. I just picked her up pat her down. She responsed by bouncing back and growing even more. So I fed and watered her in. First feeding week 2 day 4. You can see she bounced back. Fed her right after transplant. Bad idea, she needed two more days. Ah well. She's growing.

This strain was easy to grow. I started out without an hygrometer. Due to delivery problems i had it very late and my girl noticed that becauce the envirement wasnt optimal for her. She did survive that period, after that she got defoliated multiple times, and i got really rough with her sometimes and broke of some stems, and that was no problem for her. I also had an encouter with thousands of thrips, which i had to nuke to remove them from my girl and she didnt even bother. In veg she was a good to handle, in flower it was a little bit harder and i think she likes alot more PK at the end of her lifetime than i offered her. But thats more of a guess. The smell matches more a cross between blueberry and lemon kush in my opinion. The gelato part is not so noticable at the end of the road.(for me atleast) But the blue in other hand is very dominant and strong by smell and taste. I ended up with hardrock buds even the smaller ones, so im very happy with the outcome. Because of my thrips invasion and usage of bioquant, i wanted to wash my buds for once to clean of all the dirt, dust, insect remains and other particles that shouldnt be in my bud. I did the oh so underrated BUDWASH, and wauw if would deffinatly recommend it to every grower with just a few plants. It really cleans your buds without effecting your potency, terps and overall buds. I also noticed that all buds dried at the same rate cause of the evenly spead moisture i guess. I ended up with 48.34 grams of hard and dry buds I took about 10 grams and turned it into superdelicious rosin because i also love to dab 😍 Thank you growdiaries for this amazing platform. This week I will be increasing nutrients, continue with leaves tucking and perhaps will install scrog net by the end of the week. Wishing you all a wonderful week ✨🍀✨ 06/11 day 29 Watered 500ml each pot and sprayed with water and fish mix solution. 08/11 day 31 Girls started growing faster. Good few cm in to all of the directions in one night. Watered again with 500ml each pot as belive that they need just a bit more time for the first runoff experience. 11/11 day 34 It was a Spa day for the 🍌💜👊 girls. Full package; 1st - removed 7-10 fan leaves from each girl. 2nd - LST on few longer branches 3rd - shower with fish mix and water solution. 4rd - Watering 500ml for Athena and approx 300ml for Xena. 12/11 What a great and a bit busy week with my girls. Perfect response on yesterday selective defoliation and stretching. No signs of any stress. At the end of week 6 the buds are bulking up and the trichomes are going milky with red hairs pulling in will wait for more amber trichs before harvest which I anticipate around week 8-10.

This week went pretty well. She stretched another 8 inches and is up to 48" even though I am not feeding her any veg nutrients, and I am really hoping she is ready to chill out because I have the lights D-Ringed to the roof of the tent, I had to remove the pulleys from them because they took too much room. I also added another 100 watt Spider Farmer and a 150 watt mars hydro to the mix, so I am running 4 lights at 790 Watts total for this plant. I am between 65K and 75K lumens for the entire canopy, and i have 150 watts coming in from underneath the canopy. I am also struggling with the humidity in the tent, even though I am able to maintain 45% RH outside the tent, I am having trouble keeping the tent below 60% RH and it is due to all the transpiration from her leaves, as well as the high frequency fertigation that I deploy, although all the runoff is outside the tent within 90 seconds of feeding, so not much I can do about either one. I know it doesn't look like I am defoliating her, but I have a trash bag almost full just from this plant. I purchased a small dehumidifier for inside the tent and it will be arriving tomorrow, so hopefully that takes care of my issues, as I don't want any moldy colas. End of week 5

Flowering day 7 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The flowering started last week because otherwise the space in the small tent would end up being too narrow :-) Cuttings were taken from each phenotype beforehand. To change the flower, I rinsed it very lightly with clean fruits. With the next watering she gets a mix of grow liquid and bloom liquid before she only gets bloom. The heating mat works perfectly in the small tent and the parameters are all in the optimal range 🙏🏻👍. Now we hope that everything stays that way and that the cold days will slowly pass :-) . This was the last week of flowering and therefore I stopped giving any nutrients for a good FLUSH. This is very important in order to avoid a harsh smoke later when the plants are dried, because any nutrients left in the plant will burn your throat and the weed will hurt while you smoke it. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have developed well and carry hefty top buds on each side branch and also the main cola. The lower regions also carry buds, but those are a little more fluffy and not so big and dense as the top buds. Every bud is COVERED IN TRICHOMES and the plants glisten in the light, they are FROSTY AS HELL! The plants have a STRONG AROMA now, which is sweet and peachy with hints of sandalwood. They smell ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and I cant wait to try the dried end-product. All in all I can only recommend this strain, its not the biggest yielder, but definitely delivers connoisseur grade weed. Hats off to Mat from House of the Great Gardener in Canada, he has made another GREAT cross and I hope he will release this variety soon! 👍😍😎

Starting week 9 She is huge that's why we added extra LST to her big main stem so she could have support and hopefully gets more yield! Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.
