I thought the ladies would have another 2-3 weeks left in veg, but started to notice pistils forming within the last couple of days. So flower will most likely start to begin within the next week, I’m guessing I may see a couple oz per plant come harvest day. Not bad for first time grow & using autos, from what I’ve heard a lot of people do not recommend learning with autos due to how quickly their state can change depending on what you do with them. There are some things I wish now I would have done a bit different within the last couple of weeks, I can’t help but wonder how much bigger they’d be if I did not do any defoliation at all. But I have been combating flies bad and made the call to defoliate mainly for that reason. Started to cut back on veg foods and introduce flower foods and sugars to their diet. Taken loads of leaf off this week and cleaned the bottoms up. They were looking hungry so I’ve upped the nutrients too. Lights are turned up to 100%

🇩🇪 Ich war dann doch neugierig und hab mich dazu entschieden nach einer Woche einen Teil der restlichen Erde und den Rand vom Airpot zu entfernen um mal zu schauen wie sich die Wurzeln in dem Bereich machen. Und tatsächlich mehr oder wenige wie geplant und am Ende durch das verrutschen der Pflanzen oberhalb der Erde auch wie erwartet nicht ganz perfekt aber dennoch bin ich für den ersten Versuch sehr zufrieden. Auch wenn die Wurzel nicht von Fingerspitze zu Fingerspitze geht und sich der Stamm nicht mehr zur Seite sonder mehr nach oben verwachsen hat. Ist sie trotzdem sehr gelungen. Und kann sich die nächste Zeit erstmal wieder erholen und wird nur hier und da in Form gehalten. Happy growing💛✌️ 🇬🇧 I got curious and decided after a week to remove some of the remaining soil and the edge of the Airpot to see how the roots were doing in that area. And indeed, more or less as planned, and in the end, due to the plants shifting above the soil, it wasn't quite perfect, as expected, but I'm still very happy with it for the first attempt. Even though the root doesn't stretch from fingertip to fingertip and the stem has grown upwards instead of sideways, she still turned out very well and can now recover for a while and will only need occasional trimming. Flipped to flower this week. She's taking to the SCROG well. I did some light defoliating for leaves under the canopy, I could probably do more, but I don't wanna risk removing too much at this point. Each strain in this grow has it's own diary- Skywalker OG, Bruce Banner, Black Widow, and Apple Betty.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Sundae Driver, she smells amazing, just kidding. I am feeding her with a syringe just plain water every 2-3 days and just lightly around the edge of the solo cup. I then go by weight of the cup to avoid over feeding. I will hopefully transplant to a solo cup in 7-10 days if all goes well. This is my first run with Royal Queen Seeds Genetics but I have smoked the hell out of some sundae driver genetics in the past and they were some of the best tasting nugs you could ever ask for. I plan to build a mainline and flip to 12/12 as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. Vamos familia, como me gusta todo lo que provenga gelato, no sé porque pero me vuelve loco ese sabor y ese high tan bestial. Pues aquí va otra semana de las gelato olandese de dutchfem seeds , y ahora si que van con buen ritmo ,tienen un color y un vigor increíble una que no tenia mucha vegetación al final saco un par de laterales monumentales. Plants are thriving, starting to see more and more buds. Trying to kep the humidity in the 60s seems to be the sweet spot. Have really takes down my base as have increased bloom nutrients.

A diary dedicated to the rest of my special girls. Check out my profile to see the Gorilla Glue up close (she will still appear here from time to time). Germinated them directly in the soil with natural sunlight, achieving a 100% success rate. All came out the soil with remarkably thick stems already, excited to see how these old school genetics will behave. Lots of growth during their first week of life, reaching the end of it with 2 pairs of leaves each. We surely got some sturdy girls here. Sunset Sherbet had some damage from struggling to hatch and is now slowly recovering, I’m sure she’ll catch up with time. Nothing good nutrition and proper lighting won’t fix. Bruce Banner turned out to be incredibly big for her age, never grown a seedling like her! You can tell she’s already finding her germination vase too small. Making a statement with her presence. Biscotti Mintz also looking big and very healthy. Let’s watch them grow and see what they’ve got 🌱💪
