This week I added CO2 to the garden. My pH in the DWC dipped to 4.6 which was scary. I knew something was wrong bc usually I'm adding water every 36 hours and it was still alot left. I adjusted it to 6.1 and hopefully she recovers...I must say the dwc is so sensitive compared to soil..good grief. During week 4 they only got hit with nutes once then water throughout the rest of week. Update: I decided to drain the dwc and just put in 1gal of water at 5.8 pH. I'm being extra cautious since it's up in the air if the issue is light burn or nutrient deficiencies. Update: Two days before the end of week 5. The purple punch is doing great so far..glad I took cuts. Ice cream cake is absorbing nutrients but the pH is still dipping to the 4s almost every 6 to 8 hrs. I'm just going to keep adjusting the pH and keep her rolling.

First week of flushing.Here is my schedule for flushing with flawless finish. First flushing is with just a LOT lot water. Second flush:watering normal with flawless finish and flush after 20/24 Hours,let it sit overnight but be careful because trichomes will go crazy,if you don’t have enough milky trichomes this method will increase the trichome production immediately the next day. Repeat this method until you are satisfied with the results but don’t go more than 12/15 days,im using flawless finish 3 times in total so use it at least twice. 24 hours flawless finish isn’t doing any damage extra than the 8 hour schedule that advanced Nutrients prefer,but after 24 hours will start to damage the plant so you need to give a good flush after using it IM USING 1.5L WATER SO 2/2.5ml flawless finish

Apr 20: They hanging out at 65% rh and 65F.. Going for 7-10 day dry… No wet trim, cut plants in half and hung… Very happy with density and resin production… Can’t wait to jar and test in 2-3 weeks… I feel comfortable with this strain, I think it’s time to move on… Really wanna run some Mephisto seeds….

End of the second week of the stretch and pretty much as expected. One male has gone off early spilling pollen everywhere. The females Id say are a little behind this one but no real worries - we got another 2 males in there ready and waiting to burst at the right time👍. We’ve now pared down the whole tent for pollination and taken cuttings of each fem. Plant for a separate run. Best part there is that we have 3 identified phenos of both indica and sativa dominant traits so we’re gonna get a really even look at what the genetic has to offer, while at the same time being able to isolate desirable traits in the resulting F2 seed. Pretty sick outcome to date 🔥. We moved over to GHE nutes this week to save the Druid nutes for the fem run in the recirc system. Stronger brand for sure, but similar in value and ease. All told, everything is proceeding far better than expected. The rest is just praying that we found a kickass combination in the polyhybrid mix🤞. Till next week yall👊. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Buds are really putting on weight! Frost is in abundance. Colas have really gained defined shape and structure. The aroma is getting intense. Full blown bloom is a wonderful thing. Just watching as the sexyness gets more defined. We have hit the major bulking phase. Do to the new phase of growth the feeding has once again changed. I added bud golem to the mix. To get every drip drop of flowering vigor this lady has to push. Really gives that extra umph for the bulking phase. Will eliminate that last bit of grow outta the mix next feed. Day 1. She is out !!!! Let's all stupidity start NOW ;))) Still have no pH up down, just boiled water, 7.4 pH ;))))) So , because life is so unfair, I decided to cheat from time to time, think all evenings she will spent under 12W table light ... Simple Lux meter app shows 1000 lux during day ;)))) under table light I get 8000-10000 reading ;))) easy cheat, no regrets !!! ;)))) Evening. Girl is getting green colour, but slowly, still worried about pH... let's see ... Day 2. Gave 0.5g of BioSys from Ecothrive and 7 ml of 6.3 ph water Day 3. At 18 pm lost all electrics at home, she spent 22 hours without light, +11 at night, +16 during day .... Day 4. Mycelium is here !!! She looks nice ! Day 6. 20ml of 6.3 ph . Looks nice, just lanky, bought fan too ;))) Damn math getting higher... 3 seeds + 11£ for ph+-, 3.50£ for BioSys, now 12 for fan ... Plus couple pennies for nutes. Electrics at home included into rent, so light and fan run for free, hope she wont stink a lot ;)))) Happy Growing !!!

Day 60. Girls are super bushy , stretchy and healthy. Should get huge feed tomorrow. All looks good, need just first buds to appear and i will trim them a lot ! Saw couple flies, gave sticky traps. I am in the middle of trim jail with Zamnesia run and head is empty to write anything more now except - i think my friend should be very VERY very happy with AMS and MARS HYDRO products ! ;))) Girls a bit droopy , because he was late with todays watering, still supercroped main cola, she was stepping a lot ...
