Progress and Observations In week 6 of flowering, my plants are displaying significant development. The buds are swelling noticeably, and resin production is increasing, filling the grow area with a rich aroma. Weather Conditions and Plant Health Unfortunately, the weather in Germany has turned to consistent rain over the next five days, which is less than ideal for the final growth phase. To protect the plants, I've moved them into the greenhouse full-time. This controlled environment shields them from adverse weather conditions, ensuring stable conditions for continued growth. Pest Management I'm pleased to report minimal pest issues thus far. Nightly patrols continue to manage the snail population effectively, supported by lettuce leaf traps. There have been no signs of spider mites, aphids, or thrips, providing relief. With the ongoing rainy weather, I remain vigilant against potential snail problems. Low-Stress Training (LST) Update The plants I trained with LST have responded positively and continue to develop well. However, I've opted not to apply any further LST during this stretch phase. The canopy remains even, and the bud sites are receiving ample light, allowing for a slight upward stretch to maximize bud growth during these final weeks of flowering. Looking Ahead As we move further into the flowering stage, my focus will be on maintaining optimal conditions to maximize bud development and resin production. I am also diligently monitoring the humidity levels in the greenhouse, as this is crucial for preventing mold growth. Doing ok. Hard to battle humidity even though I have dehu and ac running . It’s 25 degrees and raining outside. some botrytis is showing up. Already ordered some particulate filters for air recuperators. Botrytis spores are supposedly 4 microns large or more. These filters are supposed to catch particulates smaller than one micron. Lets see if it helps stop the grey mold fucking bullshit.

Edit: 7/29/24 I Found 2 of 5 had hermed upon my daily inspections. Put them outside for isolation. No obvious signs of stress, part of the gamble of finding bag seed. I guess the blueberry ancestry lends this tendency as well. Either way, the herms are worth keeping (isolated) as the smell is too incredible to just throw them .

6/26 Rained last night. Might have showers bur the sky is clear. Real good weather coming. I need to transplant those seedlings. Plants are noticeably bigger every day. I see small spits of damage but it's isolated and in a high wind area. I'll address it and watch for nute deficiencies. Also need to transplant those seedlings. At leastcones an auto. 6/27 Rained overnight again. Looks clear today but we did get some rain yesterday. Tomorrow is all sun. I'm planning to transplant those 3 seedlings today. Also noticed some ragged holes so I've got a few pests. Looks like grasshoppers or something. With all the rain could be slugs or pillars I guess. Need to get ipm up amd running. I've got work to do. Found a plant on my gmo in the 30 bag. It got sun burnt and wind burnt but came out of it and they're all doing great. At first this one was a little behind after transplant but so were the other gmo's. Originally, it was one of my best plant prior to transplant outdoors. That one leaf I found during a thorough inspection of the garden. I'm hoping it's not tmv. Plants growing vigorously and better than but I'll keep an eye on it. I also transplanted the 3 seedlings. I added half new 707 in the 50 (prior soil was this same mix from last year) and transplanted one in that. One in a 10 gallon bag and the auto in a 5 gallon bucket. It will be interesting ingredients seeing how they turn out. All transplants went really smooth. 6/28 It's gonna be a hot one today. I haven't watered in over a week due to rain. Wind was whipping this morning! Looked like plants MIGHTVE been drooping but now that I think about it it was probably just the wind. ANYWAY I WATERED TWO AND A HALF GALLONS on the clones. That wind dries the bags out fast. Some still had some heft to them. Lately I've been going by my intuition which has seemed to be on point. All the seedling transplants look good and show no signs of stress. 6/29 The site was down so I couldn't update. Looks like it's gonna rain. It's noontime. This morning i found and killed two inch worms. There's not much damage so I'm wondering whether bt is necessary. Birds sit on the frame and dart I'm and grab them. I'll have to think on it. I also need to decide what I'm going to use for nutes this year. Don't need it yet. GMO's and sherb pie is putting out pistols everywhere. Same with the event horizon. Looks like I may have an early harvest this year. I certainly hope so. Still.....only did half what I did last year but with everything going on its all I can handle. 6/30 Site was down and it doesn't want to pet me upload my pictures 7/1 Trying to keep this updated. Need to spray bt. I'm seeing some damage. Not much but I need to get a handle on it now. Poured yesterday. Super sunny today. Plants seem to be flowering early this year while I still have a 2 seedlings that haven't shown their sex yet (they are fems but still). The clones are beginning to flower it looks like so I may have an early harvest this year.

I installed a PH controller but it didn't work right and only the ph up peristaltic pump is working. I will use this over my vacation as my PH drifts down naturally so this should work until i get a replacement. I watered in my gsc and other seedlings until runoff with 850 ppm heavy in nitrogen to green them up as the organic top dressing is taking too long.will see how they respond.on week 4 day 4 They are responding well to nitrogen Gsc is taking off!!!will continue nitrogen until end of this week as needed.

Buds are looking good, smells great, not a lot to say.

Overall, everything seems to be going very well at the moment. The plants are growing faster than ever and the space on the sides is getting cramped. We still have plenty of space for them to stretch, but the upcoming week will probably be the last one in veg before we'll switch to 12/12. The roots of the plants already reached the bottom of their fabric pots. Topping: We decided to top the three largest plants (2x PCK, 1x Gelato). This was only done because we wanted the smaller gelato (top left) to catch up a little. I'm curious how that will work out. If all the plants had been the same size, we probably wouldn't have done it, because the space at the sides is already tight. Lamp distance: As the plants grew, we forgot to adjust the lamp distance until the distance was slightly below 30 cm. The upper leafs are currently looking a little stressed as a result, but it is not too bad. Right now the distance to the lamp is 50cm. Fungus Gnats: We added some sf-nematodes to the soil to get rid of fungus gnats. It is unclear where the gnats came from and it could be completely unrelated to the grow. However, we gave the nematodes to all plants so it does not become a bigger problem.

01-07-2024 This week has been phenomenal for the Banana Kosher Kush plants, they are loving their enviroment and their nutrients. Our Sugar Bomb Punch seedlings are going but our Lion Holdings Soil is not the best in comparison to the growth we've gotten from our Freedom Farms soil. Again only time will tell and we are keeping a close eye on them as always. Our Auto Power Plant seedlings are showing rapid growth and we will be transplanting them in the next two days to prevent too much shock. Our northern lights are struggling a bit as is our Girlscout Cookies but I will add some variations to feeding to see if that helps.

So as we near harvest I learnt a lot of things from this grow. I planning to take all the experience and better my future grows. I'm to do a proper indoor grow at the end of the month with new equipment and the knowledge I have now!

Just growing through the net now, slight defoliation only when needed, cleaned out some low hanging leaves underneath and a few hopeless bud sites under the canopy. I feel like I could probably defoliate a bit more but not gonna push my first plant, just doing as much tucking as I can to help out. Its adding an inch plus everyday of height now and I am not sure how tall she is going to stretch, Im running out of room above the lights so from here on nearly every inch of stretch will be closing that gap. 18” now will be keeping a close eye and hopefully will not have to dim my lights. Currently running 200w @ 100% veg tuned.

This week in the 5x5 had some good changes! Put on some good nodes and put on some resin!!! They all 3 pretty much look the same they have good node spacing and the stems are way sticky to the touch. Monday starting off week 5 gave them a top dress of craft blend 1/4 cup mixed into the top lil bit of soil and straw bed. Handwatering each plant gets 1/4 gallon at plant base and 1 gallon spread between plants. Everything going food look happy. Wendsday plants looks like they liked the Monday treatment so proceeding as normal. Gave them 1 top. per gallon of water along with 2 top of mollases to make the soil happy and some glacier rock dust a good plop. Friday everyone looked good maybe lil strong on nutes will only water as normal for the week. Sunday end of week 5 just straight water 1 plant got lil burned like I was thinking but everyone is happy happy happy. Vivosun fan I had for 4 months died had to replace with back up fan.
