This week I did a fair amount of work on my grow. I did a bit of defoliation and spent some time tying down branches to shape the canopy. My goal is to get buds growing wall to wall! I can't wait to see the results of my efforts.

Thank you. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. If you don't guard your mind, others can "dump" whatever they want into it, leading to undesirable results in your life. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. These compounds absorb UV radiation and accumulate in the epidermal layers of leaves to shield inner photosynthetic tissues. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function. I am playing in the enchanted forest.

Harvested on day 88. The plant had a really strong smell, and I ran into some issues during drying because the temperature dropped, and humidity went up a lot. It dried over 16 days, turned out nice and dense, and kept its sweet, citrusy aroma.

Week three of flower is off to an amazing start! At day 22, the ladies are looking incredibly healthy. They're praying like crazy, reaching for the light, and stacking nodes like it's their job. The buds are starting to plump up, and the trichome production is getting intense. I'm so excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks!

About 2,5 weeks of curing done. I have about 234gramms dry until now. Vaped a bit and it's awesome. Pretty strong sativa effect throught the end. Feels like a energy drink. Perfect summer weed, instant energy, euphoria, creativity. Summer can come!!! :) uuuuhuhuhuhuh 28.04 New Pics. That strain is amazing. Pretty glad to have this strain for the summer. Will be the best summer of my life. :)

Bienvenidos cultivadores de marihuana clandestinos, y también, a los que tienen la fortuna de no serlo!🖐️👨‍🌾 esta temporada cultivando leyendas sativas... todo por la causa! Tres semanas desde el paso a floración a sido el tiempo que ha tardado en llegar ¡La Gran Hembra Colombiana!... a jugar! 💃😈 Creo que definitivamente la planta ha dejado de estirarse, para ello he continuado esta semana con la tortura estrambótica a modo de cableado de los ápices superiores rebeldes... yo también te quiero! 🧡 Ahora innumerables brotes florales adornan toda la planta, un horizonte estrellado de brillantes y vibrantes flores buscando su lugar en el cielo! La planta está muy ramificada, son ramas finas y delicadas, las hojas también, no hay ninguna rama que destaque sobre otras, el aspecto general me recuerda a un cañaveral, espero para las próximas semanas endurecimiento y fortalecimiento de todas las ramas, estas se deben preparar para soportar todo el peso de los cogollos que pienso cultivar... a muerte! El consumo de agua es alto, riego profundamente cada 4 días con componentes variados, las últimas semanas he intentado fortalecer y dar energía a la planta añadiendo Bio Estimulantes a las mezclas de riego, todo para preparar a esta leyenda sativa para el cambio a Bio fertilizantes de floración y más concentración de nutrientes... todo por la causa! Como estamos en verano y hace mucho calor, mi agua de montaña que almaceno para riegos mantiene una temperatura ambiente de 25°C, yo prefiero bajarla hasta los 20°C, para ello mantengo agua en el frigorífico y la mezclo a la hora de regar, el agua a 20°C transporta más oxígeno al sustrato y le refresca... a quien no le gusta una ducha fría en verano? Dejo dos VIDEOS del primer mes en las dos carpas!!! Desfrán Auto se ve que no le gusta el ferti, por las hojas dobladas hacia arriba. Solamente las automáticas parece... Cada vez que las riego las hojas se ponen en forma de garra como estresada, asi que voy a utilizar agua solamente. Por cierto el agua que utilizo es agua purificada sin cloro y metales pesados. Ahora me prestaron un medidor de Ph que empiezo a utilizarlo en el segundo mes. También compraré un termohigrometro y voy añadir un ventilador extra. Las demás Red Dragon, Amnesia Lemon #1 y #2, Bubba's Gift y Desfrán Fotoperiódica estoy aplicando Aptus Pro y se ve que les encanta. Le hice poda apical a la Defrán Foto y quiero intentar hacer un Main Lining, porque crecen muy rápido. La voy a tratar de dejar lo más bajo posible. La Bubba's ya va creciendo más, pero en versión "mini". A ver qué onda como les va el segundo mes de vege. La idea es vegetarlas hasta que las Desfrán Auto (3) estén listas para cosechar que supuestamente son 14/15 semanas. Así que tienen tiempo para crecer las demás, sobretodo las Bubba's #1 y #2

Started to flush one of the 2 plants. Using pH 6.5 water without anything else. Last couple of feeds for the second one which is about 1 week behind. Have to say that despite my initial skepticism, the dark purple, almost black in the leafs has gradually appeared. Not as deep as with the autoflowers, and nowhere as sudden. The amount of crystals is much higher in these FF ones. Hopefully I don't pull any dumb mistake in the last few days so I can have a no stress dry/cure.

The tomatoe is doing great!! As you can see Ive been away for a week but my dad kept watering the plant nicely. Its growing fast but the base is not getting big :(

LA is doing lovely, she's was originally the tallest but after folding her like a lawn chair after a big day on the beers her upward growth has slowed right down and she's starting to push outwards like I was anticipating. LA punch is an unreleased genetic from Cali connection. I suggest if you top her to top her once. Relax on the defoilation and let her grow out. She is quiet compact and wants to stay together so you need to try and be forceful to get your way but do be careful. Doesn't like stress in the sense of defoilation and topping early on but handles high PH, high EC and high temperatures so far but obviously not for long otherwise you can seriously stunt your ladies. Light went from 60% to 90% over Week 5 to Week 6, next 2 days she'll be at 100% ready for flowering. 2 set AC infinity bar lights will go in over this week as well as my scrogg net.
