Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. While I was away in Mallorca, enjoying the sun and smoking some Sativa Landrace, the girls were given a more simple feed to make things easier for my friend whilst he was taking care of the garden. The feedings came to around 700ppm (Including 150-190ppm tap water). As you can see in the video I've been bending her down for a couple of days instead of tying a string to her. It's just a lazy LST that should basically do the same thing. This Royal Cookies girl has progressed well since her topping and LST. She's a bit stretchy but a few more toppings should make her bush nicely. Every second feed from here on out will also contain Mammoth P for the first time in my garden! 🐺

This girl is doing what she wants spreading out and loving the space I made for her with the 10 gallon pot. There are pistils popping everywhere on her pre flower I guess I have to start flowering her for the next week.

Bud fatten up and smell and look so nice 😍 So happy to grow such beautiful plant she is mazing with lots off branches but bit short only 60cm Every day going she get darker purple Because she so bushy some bud won't get air and light so every time I feed her I have to remove some top leaves or middle leave s to get ligh and airflow I hate popcorn nugs and she seems have alot popcorn nug but bud still growing and fatten up I won't rush to harvest her I let her grow atleast 3 or 4 weeks more

She need heavy feed to develop her whole potential but not from the beggining, maybe since flowering time. You can expect long stems, huge leaves, large size and very dense buds. I got foxtail buds but just in 1 of 3 seeds I used it. I recommend to use a good cal/mag nutrition because I had some defficencies with it. She likes dink lot of water but she doesn't like hight temps I recommend lower than 28º C.

Plants seem healthy, some lower growth discolored. I read coco coir should be feed more often than not and that one should not let it dry out like soil. I will be watering every other day now until run off. Plants eating way more as run off is not as much as was. Will be raising amount of water in next feed. I topped a majority of the side branching on both these plants, I have also done some super cropping and I continue to do lst. Wonder pie is 10 inches along main stem to tip of the tops. Milky Dreams is 11 inches along main stem and is my biggest plant. Wonder pie seems to produce more bud sites and truly seems like a wild plant.

Day36! Another week another grind. Day 37! They look so healthy, it’s amazing 🌱🌱 Day 38! Just watered them with out nutes, and next feeding will be with nutes. Day 39! Ya ya ya ya Day 40! She’s starting to have a good smell. 4 more weeks and she should be good to go Day 41! Just transplanted young 2 to a 5 gallon pot Day 42! Can they look healthier? Lol

9/5: I hope to successfully germinate all 15 of the Fastbuds seeds that I bought along with the 2 freebie Blackberry beans I was given by the nice folks at Hipersemillas.com. I'm also germinating 4 x Sweet Seeds Dark Devils that will be managed in a separate diary. I am keeping it really simple this run and am using my new DWC cloner to germinate. I made up 3 gallons of a de-chlorinated water in a strong solution of Endoboost Hydro and added 1/4 tsp of Superthrive per gallon. I adjusted the Ph to 6.0 and let the pump and aerator cycle the res for a few hours. I put rapid rooters into 1.25" net pots and ensured that the water level was high enough so as to just touch the bottoms of the rooters. About 10 minutes later the rooters were all nice and damp, so I planted and prayed. I've just got a 9w pinkish grow light mounted about 5 inches above the rooters, but once they are rooted well, I'll move them into a 1020 tray with dome under 65w of mixed spectra lighting with supplemental blues. Once they've got a couple sets of leaves, I'll plant the rooters in some half-gallon biodegradable fabric bags and move them into my tiny tent under a pair of mixed spectrum QB's. They'll have to stay in there until my current run of photo clones is done in the closet. Once space opens up in the closet, I'll plant those biodegradable bags into 3 gallon pots and move them in. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks....🙏 9/7 (a.m.): Thus far, I've just got one each of Wedding Cheesecake, Strawberry Pie, and Lemon Pie emerging... 9/9: All but one Lemon Pie are up and growing. The problem child may yet fully emerge..her cotyledons are opening up, but they're just below the surface. I caught some rainwater today and pre-watered all the 1/2 gallon degradable fabric starter pots with it. My photo clones still have a couple weeks left, so the timing should be right for me to move these seedlings into the tiny tent in a few days and plant them in the starter pots...and 12-15 days later I'll plant the starter pots into some new 3 gallon fabric pots I've already got filled and waiting. This batch of soil I'll be using has been cooking since late March, and the rhizosphere is fully rocking. I also treated all my soil this summer with Beauveria Bassiana, Metarhizium Anisopliae, and Azamax to ensure I have no pestilence to deal with, so I'm optimistic that this will be a successful grow.😁 9/0: I planted up all but one Lemon Pie in 1/2 gallon degradable pots and moved them into the tiny tent under 240w of mixed spectra quantum boards.

Really happy with the weeks progress. Not much difference so far between the 6 NFT and the 2 in All Mix.

One more week of veg and we will be flipping the lights to 12/12. The blueberry pie is starting to put out a nice smell. I've topped this plant along with a bunch of defoliation. The structure for this plant is perfect. I was thinking about putting up a trellis but I decided not to in the end. It would make it very difficult for me to get to the 2 back plants. I need more room in my basement! Haha we will flip next week and start increasing nutrient solution for flower. Can't wait to see the bud structure on these nts.

During my previous grow, I harvested and made some bubble hash. Afterward, I dropped the used, wet buds onto this coco, and it seems some seeds sprouted from the leftover material. I’m not even sure if they’re photoperiod or autoflower, but hey—let's roll with it! Both my pH meter and PPM meter are broken. I have no idea why they keep breaking so often. They’re ADWA meters, and while you can replace the reading elements, the replacements cost half the price of a new meter. It’s frustrating, and I really don’t want to keep buying them every time I start a new grow

Week 7 day 52: Ladies are not drinking as much it seems. Probably will continue to water 1.5gal every 3 days. Gave it some build a bloom today 6/29/22 as a final push. Just water from now on. They are just working on fattening up. Still throwing some white hairs but it is not much and trichomes are 20 % clear, 70% cloudy with the remaining 10% amber from what i can tell. I learned today, while using a microzoom hand held camera, that i am very shaky! I need to rig something up to hold the camera in place to get better pics.
