La verdad que el secado muy bien 7 días en Malla y a los botes, 45% humedad y 23 grados es la temperatura ambiental que han tenido en el secado. 4 plantas que se cultivaron en un armario de 1.20 pero estos ejemplares solo ocuparon 80x80. Así que ya está cultivada esta gran variedad que es novedad este 2020, americana de la familia Cookies, la Tropicanna Cookies (Girl Scout Cookies x Tangie) con un porcentaje de thc entre los 17/25%, una bomba. Que decir de Agrobeta, lo peta 💪 en cuanto a nutrientes. Un saludo y buenos humos.

Brought to u by Mars Hydro SP3000 x2. Grow on Earth. Grow with Mars. All pics day 40. Welcome back. Mid/late flower now. Winding down nutes and teas and will feed to get the buds to ripen. Apex is frosting up nicely and her smell is popping, closest I can get to describing it is like cleaning products from a real fancy hotel…but lots of fan leaves are showing signs of deficiencies and/or lockout cuz she’s root bound really bad. Buds and sugar leaves aren’t affected, so far so good, I hope they stay that way 🤞 Gelato is fattening up real nice and has that distinct pungent aroma but not as strong as apex and not a lot of trichs. I hear this strain starts picking up in week 7+…although she’s root bound too but not as bad (I think). Lights are at 80%…they’re fricken beasts and way too much power for such a short, tiny tent. Next grow will be same strains, bigger final pots and will be in a new tent that is 6” (15cm) taller, every little bit helps :) That’s it for this week. Thanks for stopping by. Bending the plant makes it stronger

Final week of water.. this week will be the last one, from sunday 7 she will be deprived of water until she start showing amber trichomes.. then I will chop her! Smells like citrus and gasoline :Q_ From tuesday to friday just dry soil.. she start drying still alive 😛

The first week of vegetation is now behind us and the 1 liter pots are already well rooted. They will now be repotted in their final pots in the 2nd week. Everything is still going according to plan and now all the plants will move into their final tent.

Day 43 - Starting week 7 and gave her the first feed of the week. She’s still stretching but she’s starting to fill in quite a bit too. Starting to have a pineappley scent to her as well. Day 44 - For the most part, all looks pretty good. I did spot a couple leaves that look like there may be some sort of deficiency but trying to research and figure it out. It’s only on a couple leaves so not really spreading. Checked for any sort of bugs and nothing. Hopefully I can get it figured out and turned around. Day 45 - Gave her a full feeding of straight pH’d water and upped the cal-mag a little to see if maybe I have the start of a magnesium deficiency. Got advice from someone on a different site so we’ll see if this is corrected. She’s really starting to fill in more and more each day. Not a very strong smell coming from her right now but my fingers smell amazing, pineapple/citrus after doing some leaf tucking and I love it. Just for shits and giggles, I did a test of the runoff and measuring out at 6.7, just like what’s going into her so thinking that’s a good thing. Looking forward to the next and final few weeks. Day 46 - All looking good I think! Upped the cal-mag and bit and noticed one more leaf that was off. Everything else is looking green and healthy and the buds seem to be filling in and starting to fatten up nicely. Day 47 - Gave her the last feeding of the week and she starting to really fill in and fatten up. Starting to get pretty frosty and smelling wonderful! Day 49 - Good lord she’s starting to really smell amazing, tropical citrus. Can not wait to chop but still got some time. Will start the week 8 feeding schedule tomorrow, letting her really dry out.

Day 10: They have been growing nicely. Beautifull green leafs, no deficiencies or stress. I did some Defoliation and I'm planning to top some plants but not all of them since they make nice main colas as well. Also nice roots so far, will let those grow for another 1-3 days before repotting them into 7L pots. While doing that I will add some new clay for beneeth the pots to have a good run-off. I will add some mycorizza as well to improve the roots and I will water them again with lots of Regulator(anti-stress) and Rhyzotonic( root stimilator). Some days after that, they are ready to get pushed into flowering. Sativas like to grow twice and sometimes even more in size. So the size which they are at the end of this week will be enough. So at the end of this week you will see them being in 7L pots and in a bigger grow space under lots of lamps. There are like 3-5 plants not growing nicely. Might have to kill them. I'm not going to waste time,energy,nutrients on those if they don't grow in size in a couple of days. So might end up with just 235 plants. Il update again at the end of this week. Day 14: I almost finished the rest of the grow room. I still need to adjust and replace the lamps some more and other things. Did many defoliation below the plants. Thoose branches are never going to preduce nice and thick buds anyways. Such a waste of energy and nutrients. Because of the removing of branches and leafs, They get a better airflow and better exposure of light as well. So for now they look a little bit ugly haha and not so bushy anymore, but they will grow into fine looking ladies. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant and some bigger plants I even topped because I don't want them to stretch alot. Another reason is that I want bigger stems. If other plants that didnt get topped, not improving stems I can still top them until the end of week 1 of flowering. I'm putting them into flowering, by putting the lightschedule to 12hours of light and darkness. It will take a few days before they start preflowering. The first buds will be seen in like 10-14 days. Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. This week I decided to remove the LST and let her strech out as much as she wants. I lollipopped her on day 49 and cutted down all the branches that will never grow to the light. She has to strech as much as possible because there are some way taller plants under the same light. I hope she gonna produce some nice flower and will continue to strach abit. Managed to get over 4 ounce per plant the smell is very strong and is covered in crystal, I’ve already harvested clones in the mean time and also got over 4 ounce per plant

The SCROG net was installed on the last day of Week 6, I included a couple pics from that night, to compare with how the plant looked the next day, which was the first day of Week 7. My nerve damaged fingers caused me to be a little rougher with her while the net was going on than I like, but as you can see, she bounced back very quickly and was reaching for the light less than 24 hours after being mangled lol. I will continue to systematically defoliate the upper canopy every night or two for the next several weeks, and will completely strip most everything below the net. Every night or two I'll tuck any branches that need tucking, and will remove any fan leaves covering bud sites. She spread out pretty well in the net, and truth be known i probably could have gotten away with a 6 week veg after, plants are a decent size in the net with the stretch left to go. Flip happens at the end of Week 7 The manganese issue seems to be getting much better by the end of the week. Will keep my pH levels at 5.8 for the remainder of this grow, and any subsequent grows. I also devised a fan mount to save on space in the net. Instead of standing the fan, i simply cut a piece of 1x3 to length, drilled 2 holes in each end, large enough for zip ties to pass through. then I simply zip tied it to the tent poles, took the legs off the fan, and screwed the base to the board. I placed a piece of foam on top, as the screws were a shade long and I was afraid the small protruding tip would eventually puncture the tent. Works much better than expected. No movement in the mount at all.

Last week before harvest. I started checking the trichomes and they are looking amazing. Cloudy, milky big mushroom head tricks. Not so much amber yet but I feel that will change pretty quickly with the temp drop. I will keep checking them daily and when I feel there's a good ratio between amber and cloudy I will harvest. I think im going to try the 48 hour darkness method. I've also heard of splitting the stalk and taping it up to stress it out a little bit. If anyone has tried this method and has experience with it let me know down in the comments. Big frosty buds with an incredible powerful aroma. Such beautiful plants all around.
