Der Dünger wurde umgestellt und es fängt so langsam an zu Duften. 😁 Der Filter läuft auf kleinster Stufe und die Luftfeuchtigkeit liegt zwischen 55 % - 51 %. 👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrfication process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

Wow these girls look beautiful! So there was a malfunction a few weeks back with the biscotti gelato and I had to harvest it early, it bent over and well couldn't be saved which I know I would have come out amazing just as these did! I will be harvesting any day now!

Has a nice skunky smell. Just going through her thing. Shout out to AMS(Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds) for this beautiful Afghan Feminized. She is completely done with her stretch, has starting stacking her bud sights and started to produce noticable trichomes. Giving her nothing but RSO, tiger bloom, black strap molasses and CalMag. Possibly add Bestie BloomZ this coming week. Still have along way to go, but definitely be worth it. 🔥 🎄 💕

Taking it day by day. I think the power going out for the few days it did messed with her. Bucket is getting smelly and looks like the roots are getting root rot... but hopefully I can combat it. 6.18.25. 7th week of flower started on 6.16. To bad I stunted this one so bad because the quality is very good just quantity is sad. About 2-3 weeks left until harvest! Started lowering nutrient strength get a nice flush for the final 2-3 weeks

Anyways my dumbass didn’t have all my branches supported properly. So probably back on the night of 140 we had a violent wind storm. I got back on day 142 to make repairs and wash off the plants.

Welcome to the Green House Seeds Company Cup 🏆. Day 70 Hey everyone 🤗. In the last update I decided to put the Wonder Pie in the darkroom for the next few days. These plans have now changed 😄. Since the trichomes were only 10% amber, I briefly decided to give it another week. Now the time has finally come. The trichomes are about 70% amber and 30% milky 😍. The grow: This plant grew very well and didn't cause any problems. Her growth was very symmetrical and beautiful. She didn't need any support up to the last few days :-). Nutrients: I can really recommend the GHSC Powder Feeding series to everyone 👍. It is very easy with this fertilizer. You save a lot of time and work :-). It covers all nutrients, you could see that from the fact that the plant looked perfect throughout 😃. Genetic: Let's get to the most important. First of all, I am very happy that I have secured a mother 🙏🏻😃. Genetics couldn't have been better 👌. It looks beautiful from start to finish 😍. I've never had such a beautiful and symmetrical growth. The look of the buds is just as cool 😃, and the smell that it already has on the buds is an absolute note 1 😍😍😍. A detailed report will of course come with the harvest. But before that there is another harvest update for in between 😃👍. The Wonder Pie comes to the darkroom today, and can spend another 2 nights there before it finally gets under the scissors 😎. Everything is looking good so far. They’re all done stretching and the cheese and black garlic have stretched the most. I adjusted each plant with boxes to create a more even canopy. Buds are swelling up nicely. The two black berry breath plants are looking swollen and fantastic. I don’t like the structure and bud size of the black garlic plants and will not be running them again. Although, they’re getting quite keify and the breeder claims they have a genetic trait that make them put on most of their weight late in flower. So far I’m not too impressed by their size. The seedsman Badazz OG cheese has got good node spacing and structure but has very little trichs and smaller buds. I was just running the cheese to test old European genetics and my bias is starting to confirm my bias. Dutch and Euro genetics are shit. The slurricane #4 is looking fantastic in terms of frost but the buds are lacking a little in size. I’m going to do the 21 day strip today. I should have done most of this defoliation earlier in veg but right now is still fine. Ice cream cake #1 hermed which isn’t at all surprising so I scrapped her. At least it gives me more space to get in and tend to the rest of the plants. I got a pump sprayer to get in a bit closer to the plants as well.

9/22 Week 10 update... finally Looks good but going to add more Phos due to some red stems showing upping to 3ml/g 9/23 Reducing Bloom nuets @10% a day for a couple, down to the 80% mark now Add Soul Peak PK to mix as well as Koolbloom need to use up the Peak and we want to see if it brings anything special. Be in flush within 7-10 days on all but the sativa FF2 Vids finally 9/25 Adjusted nuets slightly 9/26 Like how it looks leaving nuets as is till flush down the road 9/27 And the tricones have over ruled me they are getting ready, 80-90% white 10-20% clear so taking the nuets to our ripening doses. Up PK down Bloom nuets
