Been a tough week as my ph pen failed so had signs of defiantly But that’s now corrected so hope it didn’t set them all back too much But this girl really has rippened up fast so will start too flush her this week coming

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. Day 20 - she got 16oz of water pH balanced to 6.0~ on Day 16, Day 18, and Day 20. I topped the plant and then defoliated to leave the 3rd and 4th nodes. The 3rd node is being trained to grow laterally until it reaches the container walls. Once the 4th node matures more, it will also be trained just as node 3. The goal is to train and top one more time in veg to ensure maximum yields in this small 2x2x4 tent.

Candyman is now Day 22 of flower! The smells are beautiful 2 smell more gassy and one smells more lemon now. They are drinking a lot every 2 days now, I've took a lot of leaves off and lower bud spots to give the tops more energy the finish line is fast approaching now and I can't wait 😍 Day 26 of flower and they are stinking they smell like gassy shit 🤣 but my last run of skywalker did that and was unreal smoke, so 🤞🏻 Update: Day 78, Day 28 of flower! It's the start of week 4 today and the colours are starting to change 😍 smelling and getting frosty by the day now. Really can't wait to try these girls out ✌️🏻

Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

After the repotting at the end of week 4, I watered my plants for a couple of days only using water (day 31 - 34). On day 34 I added some small LST cords, and watered. On day 35 I switched my lighting schedule from veg. to flowering, and watered. On day 36 I watered with nutrients. On day 37 I watered. On day 38 I defoliated and watered with nutrients. (The amount of nutrition used this week is combined at the top for the 3 plants.) During defoliation, I cut the inside looking leaves, and the big overhanging sugar leaves. Here and there I also cut some new growth on the inside of the canopy because it wasn't getting enough light. I noticed a very small amount of leaves which was yellowing on the bottom of the plant and cut them aswell. These we're from when the plant was just growing. All in all, things are looking good. Still searching for a solution for the trellis, because the things I came up with weren't cutting it. Probably going to fix one from PVC-piping. See ya!
