Started off by setting up the growing environment and dialling everything in such as; RO Water for the RDWC hydroponic system. Water Heater being set at 20 degrees C. Water chiller being set at 21 degrees C. pH being set at 5.7/5.8 Room Temp and humidity 20/23 Degrees C / 60%/80%RH. Instead of using rockwool cubes to place my seeds, I put them directly into the clay pebbles. I then used a DIY humidity dome to place over the seeds until they make an appearance. I have been top feeding RO water every 6 hours. Foil was used to cover the net pot to ensure no light leaks were going into the system. Highly important in DWC. Will add some light nutrients once seeds are more established. Until the next one!

End of Week 15 (8th week of flower) I have stopped the CO2 supplementation for this week and onwards as the plants naturally slow down photosynthesis and it is not needed during the last 2 weeks of flower. Also raised the lights by 5cm to make sure the trichomes don't get damaged and also dropped the RH and temperatures even more than last week, and surely the colours are becoming more and more vibrant as the ladies are fading into their autumn shades. Feeding just water since middle last week, all I'm doing is giving the ladies PH correct water until harvest to naturally deplete the soil from nutrients and flush out the soil slowly this will help bring out even more colours as the ladies use up the remaining nutrients stored in their leaves as they reach the end of their life cycle. Day 8-13 of Seedling Just been watching and letting the girls grow since transplanting into the Solos. Pheno #4 has a nice little bunny ear mutation on the first set of fan leaves. Will be interesting to see how she grows. We will soon be going into 1 gal fabric pots.

This fine lady is really starting to add some nice colours due to some cold temps in our neck of the woods. She has a ton of trichomes development now! I am really impressed with the look of the buds. They aren’t all full of leaves which should make trimming her a pleasure. 😎 She has really been fattening up this week. I am guessing she needs another week or so to finish up. Her colouring should be quite something once she is done. 🤩 I am still having the odd spot of powdery mildew pop up but nothing too serious. I have been treating it with greencure every 3-4 days and it’s keeping it under control. I haven’t found any affecting the buds yet which is a win! This is the reason a good effective regimen of treating plants for pest and mould/mildew is an outdoor growing must!! I have yet to lose a plant to mould or peat so I swear by it. I’ve seen a bunch of my associates with some powdery mildew beast. Such a shame to see😱 Stay tuned for the final week 😎🍿

AK 2.0 XL Autoflower has some big saggy buds on her. She grew great through the grow. Minor issues with ph here, and there. I have tried growing with low tds, and high tds in DWC. I prefer High TDS to help control ph level better. Plus plant gets much bigger. From my experiments. This plant is a fine example. Heavy yield, and full of frost. Strong aroma of citrus and a earthy fruity smell. She grew really well under the Mars Hydro FC4800. I will upload a harvest video if it let's me. If not it can be found on my YouTube channel. 4/1/21 - Both plants were transplanted into 5 gallon fabric pots with Ocean Forest soil by Fox Farm Nutrients. I will be using plain water for the next two weeks to allow the plants to get acclimated. (See video) 4/2/21 - Watered both plants with water (ph 6) noticed the grow room is a little humid throughout parts of the day but I will be installing the fan today. Both plants seem to be adjusting well. 4/3/21 - Plants are doing good. Watered them with ph 6 water. Noticing some yellow on the bottom leaves. 4/4/21 - The ends of the leaves are turning a light yellow from nutrient burn as a result of the ocean forest soil. Started low stress training today, added two clips per plant (see photo) 4/5/21 - The soil is still moist from yesterday, I’m not going to water today. They are still in the low stress training clips. You can really see the nutrient burn today. (See video) 4/6/21 - I watered the plants today with water (ph 6). Not much change in appearance from yesterday. 4/7/21 - Plants are looking great, the nutrient burn is starting to fade a little. I will be starting a new week tomorrow. Seeds all successfully sprouted, The first 2 seeds already emerged through the surface within a night. I used zero nutrient supplements or any additives in this germination phase. You'll notice in the beginning i had 5 seeds and end up with 3 plants, Basically one i gave away; but the other i fucked up somewhere planting them (never gonna do that high again). EDIT: I forgot i received some Auto Lemon Haze in my package order, that will make up to 4 plants that completes the R-DWC.

Final painting and floor trim completed. Walls are white and bright. I started to construct the main flood table. It is made of 2x3's and a sheet of chipboard. I fastened some rails at the perimeters and used caulking to seal all gaps. I will coat the face of the chipboard with a polyurea flat roof coating to make it completely watertight. I have 1/4 : 12 slope on it right now so that it drains to the reservoir end. I stained the sides of the table grey to match the floor trim because ambiance matters Shelves are up to hold my nutes/test pens/genetics/nug/papers/etc... I brought in one of the 3 HLG 550 clone qb's to test for light as I have never seen them in action. WOW!! Having one running is quite intense, I cant wait to see what all 3 going over the 4x10 area will look like (with shades on of course) A minor adjustment is needed to the height of the A/C exhaust vent. Day 57 - Starting week 9 and man she is looking good with the dark purples. Just took her out for some pictures and see if she needed a drink. Will probably give her a feeding on Sunday. Got the new AGLEX COB LED hooked up so we’ll see over the next few days how she likes it. Day 58 - Nothing new happening with this girl today. So far so good with the new light. Soil is still sorta damp so plan in giving her some water tomorrow. Day 59 - Still chugging along and still not ready for any water and I don’t want to over do it so will hold off another day before giving her some. Day 60 - Still not ready for water, looks like tomorrow she should be ready and will give her a feeding of the foxfarm trio. Other than that, she’s chugging along and looking gorgeous. Day 62 - Looking great still and gave her a feeding of the foxfarm trio today. I went ahead and defoliated quite a bit today so hopefully she can focus on some more bud development. I’m gonna start really checking the trichs here in the next couple days. She might be getting close to the end but not sure yet. Day 63 - Ending week 9 today and almost all trichs are cloudy. Wanting to get about 30-40% amber before chopping plus she’s still got quite a few white pistils so I’ll wait until I stop see those popping up.

First grow since 2020, with around 250 grams for an outdoor which has kept me going as I'm not a big smoker. No option for outdoor this year so with summer coming to an end indoor it will be in my tin garden shed. Bit of a heat wave this week but likely to cool down by the time I plant. Then just hoping the weather gods are nice for the next 4 months. Not too hot. Not too cold...just right🙄 Soaked seeds last night and now in paper towels. Planning on 5 plants anyhow, will veg for 4 weeks and flower for 9 to 10 or whenever ready. Hoping to harvest early winter before it gets really cold. Coco coir perlite mix this time and using the whole Mills range. Should be fun anyhow. Not expecting the same rewards of my last outdoor, but anything over 100 grams I'll be happy with. Anyhow, as far as germination goes I have 5 seeds to play with. In a glass of water for 8 hours, then paper towel in a zip lock bag in a warm location, including my pocket and next to me sleeping. Within 24 hours 3 of the 5 had germinated. I have doubts that 1 of the 2 remaining will germinate at all as it's a small mongrel seed but who knows. Update...all seeds germinated even the last mongrel seed. I like keeping em warm, in bed with me, in my pocket when cold and not in bed. The last seed that I didn't think had a chance from the start popped 2 days after the rest, after I put the zip lock bag with the paper towel in my pocket for a couple of hours. 100% ain't bad that's for sure. Every time I grow I do the same thing, no u may not see this method recommended but it works for me. Last few grows I've germinated them in my underwear, while wearing of course. Nice and warm thats for sure, maybe its the fluctuation 🤣 Go on, do a google search on the underwear germination method, doubt any hits will be found 🤣
