So here we go - the flowering stage. Made some defoliation and lst to open them for more light penetration.

This week the plants got very bushy and wide. Stopped using Root Juice and Used Recharge microbes for the first time one day out of the week. LST also began this week. I noticed separate issues on two of the plants on their 21st day; the girl on the right showed some yellow color in some of the tips of the new growth at the top of the plant, while the girl in the middle had low hanging leaf tips which look burned / discolored. I think I might be over-watering. I'll confirm all of their soil is completely dry with my a moisture meter before watering next time.

* 3rd December - Day 14 from seed * Well, what a week! And I wasn't even here to enjoy it. My partner lovingly tended Nora (we decided to name her) while I was away. Looking at 'germination week', you'll see I was constantly aerating the nutrient solution. For the first 4 days, my partner was pH adjusting the solution (Rhizotonic seems to leave pH constantly climbing - around half a point per day), pouring out any old solution from Nora's 'semi-kratky' pot, then syringing 24ml of solution through the rockwool. As soon as the tap root was around half way down the pot (4th day), we filled the pot so the tap root was just touching a well of nutrient solution within the pot. Each day, the solution was emptied and refreshed - not taking any Pythium chances here. Within the next 3 days the rest of the explosive root growth came bursting through the rockwool. So, time to transport her. Made some changes to the bucket: lots of holes in the rim for LST, full foil-bubble insulation (including around the rim of the net pot , and aluminium tape around the entire silicone air line - zero light leaks), a very large new air stone, and a 25w pump to power it. The pump is ridiculously quiet - not 'quiet for 25w', simply ridiculously quiet. And as you can see, it creates a bucket which looks like a pot on full boil. There's absolutely no way pythium is getting any sort of foothold on this grow. The root explosion made it very easy to position the rockwool cube within the hydroton - the roots are submerged while the rockwool sits just above. Decided to stick with the Formulex as it's doing a grand job, albeit the dose has been kicked up. Swapping the Rhizotonic for Regenaroot as I hear very good things, including that pH remains stable! Will now use Rhizo for foliar applications only.

May 11: wildfire smoke rolled in this morning for the first time this year. Last year was horrible but hopefully this year won’t be as bad. Today was stay inside the house sort of bad smoke but it’s supposed to blow over soon. Hope. Plant looks good and happy in the final container. May 12: took out a couple of small cedars and I have a new sunniest spot in the yard, or at least for the next 12 weeks or so. Today’s sunlight is like what it will be like in early August (6 weeks to solstice). May 16: cool and rainy today but some sun at the end. She’s still doing great, and definitely better than most of my previous starts. I think I had the soil too wet before, or maybe the apple thing actually works. Either way she’s off to a good start and we’re on schedule with the May long weekend coming up. May 17: cool and rainy all day. Left plant in the mini-greenhouse all day.

Week 7 – Lemon OG in full swing 🍋🔥 We’ve entered week 7 and things are moving strong! Buds are stacking up nicely and getting chunkier by the day. Pistils are bright and reaching, trichomes are beginning to pop – this run smells like success already. There’s one girl in the back-middle acting a bit dramatic – some light potassium-related signs showing up. Could be linked to CalMag interactions, but nothing alarming. Keeping an eye on her, but overall everyone looks green and thriving. I’m seeing a healthy nitrogen fade on some leaves – exactly what I want at this stage. Lights are cranked to full power (480W total) and the girls are taking it like champs. Not a single sign of stress – just hungry green machines turning photons into fat nuggets. Climate’s locked in nicely too. Hi there!😎 This is last veg week. My little girl is small and bushy with at least 4 promising side branches beyond the top one. Other branches still in development. She reacted very well to last week feed and now the leaves have much better color. Expecting some stretch and the first signs of flowers for the next days. Hoy comienzo con el ciclo de luz de floración 12/12. Las plantas se han desarrollado muy bien hasta ahora, sin mostrar problemas, signos de plagas, ni enfermedades. Estoy evaluando si instalar una red de soporte (Scrog) o no. Personalmente, no lo considero imprescindible, pero he leído que ayuda a sostener las punteras a medida que crecen y evita que las ramas se caigan o se rompan. Sin embargo, dado que las plantas han crecido bien hasta ahora, no estoy seguro si será necesario. Más allá de eso, estoy muy emocionado por comenzar la floración y ver cuánto durará, ya que puede variar entre 8 y 12 semanas. Today I’m starting the 12/12 flowering light cycle. The plants have been developing very well so far, showing no issues, signs of pests, or diseases. I’m considering whether or not to install a scrog net. Personally, I don’t think it’s essential, but I’ve read that it helps support the colas as they grow and prevents branches from falling or breaking. However, since the plants have grown well so far, I’m not sure if it will be necessary. That said, I’m really excited to start flowering and see how long it lasts, as it can vary between 8 to 12 weeks.

I made some extract and made some edibles and added it to the diary! This diary may get a little unorthodox because they’re in the jungle down the centre line but will still document as much as I can and get close ups of the bud sites and buds as time goes on! Shouldn’t be too challenging but it’s a challenge lol it’s all doing great though! Better than I expected!

Hey there! Welcome to this diary! I made it easy back in 2021. Sorry in advance for the Spanish audio. For my germination method I always use both the glass of water and the paper towel. Let me explain, the glass of water only goes for 6 to 12 hrs, it's just a soak that also contains 3-4 drops of hydrogen peroxide, this way we kill all pathogens that the seed may have on the outside. Then to a warm, moist and dark place with the paper towel, this seed sprouted pretty fast using this method. Then, once it has that tiny mouse tail of it goes to the pot, I keep it moist by putting a transparent cup upside down. Just to keep the dates, it just took from the 17th to the 19th to go from the cup with water, to the paper tower, to the soil, AND SPROUT!!

The girls have grown nicely and accepts defoliation pretty well id say. I know this is a pretty discussed subjet , some say its bad but since i did not bought thoses seeds i figured awww why not give it a try! I am now switching to full bloom nutes

The buds are starting to be big and smelly, they are fattening and we can see her grow day after day. We are super happy with this breed and we can't wait to see more from her. Some bigger leaves are full of pollen and that makes us hope for the best. Hoping everything keeps going well 😀

The flowering is start😁😁😁 G14 is much higher than amnesia xxl, but both have flowers. I change the light period on 18/6😃

Day 50. Mix some fish blood, bat guano and eggs shell mix and add to nutrients and let it turn to super tea. Have look how it is going on… Day 52. Watering with before recorded nutrients mix option.. Day 55. Watering with 2.5L nutrient mix and for balance pH level add extra 0.5mL ph down.

Last week of Veg I might actually flip to flowering mid week.

Overall, the Girls are doing great. #2 is still showing some nitrogen excess, but is doing well. I’ve adjusted her feeding specifically in hopes to correct. #1 is not showing the same issue, and is motoring along. Both are stacking nicely, and are bringing on some smell now, and are sticky to the touch. I estimate about 3 weeks more, but who really knows with Autoflowers? Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨
