So far so good. Today, on 23/8, I fed her with Biobizz Grow for the first time. I think she's been growing at a decent pace even without any fertilizers, so, in order to not risk nute burn, I used a smaller dose than what BioBizz recommends. 27/8 The newer leaves seem as if they are curling up a little bit. Might be because the light is very low. So, I have raised the light a little bit. Let's see how she responds. put on new lights that are more suitable for the veg phase. ------------------- 28/8 So I posted a question regarding a Spot that appeared on one of the leaves. By mistake I selected an answer that might not be adequate to my situation. GrowDiaries does not let you change the selected answer so I am copy-pasting the correct answer here. Bostongirl17 was right because I did spray some Neem Oil on the plant because there were mosquitoes in my room and i even saw a little spider. So it could be that a bigger droplet fell on the leaf and caused that blemish/spot. Bostongirl17: If it’s growing with the leaf- and not at a faster rate. It’s probably just a blemish. Is it possible you splashed them with your nutrients during feeding? 🌱 ----------------------

Haven't updated my grow diary for a little more than two weeks due to a severe back flare up. Yup, bad back strain, which has made it hard to sit, lay, stand for any duration of time. Suffice to say, much has happened since last update. Bucket change and upping nutrient (ppm) levels as I transitioned her to flower. And in that time, she received one defoliation in veg and a recent (and last) defoliation in flower. At this point, I just need to maintain healthy roots, consistent environment, and proper water levels with feedings. She's due another bucket change soon as ppm levels dropping and ph is adjusting upwards every reading. This is good sign from my understanding as a first time DWC grower. As far as feeding, lowered grow big (veg) and upped both tiger bloom and beastie blooms along with a splash of big bloom and cal/mag. Topping off buckets with about 1100+ ppm, which helps maintain ph in bucket at roughly 700-800 ppm. But it's getting harder to maintain those levels in flower, so that's why I believe a bucket change is in order. Here are photos spanning the entire 2-3 week period since last update.

31/10/2018 Ripen nutes bath (5mlL Ripen, 1mlL greenfuse bloom, 1drop4.5L SuperVit)

Our Rainbow Sherbet has started to flower, the main lining here worked really well. Unlike the other plants I cut at the second internode to create the mainfold. This is a smart choice because autoflowering plants flower more or less at the 5th / 6th internode, if you have to do topping it is better to start as soon as possible to delay flowering as much as possible. Another reason for topping / mainfold at the second internode is that the plant is lower and you can work the mini brunches much better. In fact here we managed to create a T-minlining. In the sense that the mini brunches form a perfect 90 degree T with the main stem which is not easy at all. To do this you have to use the arches with the wire it is much more complicated and the cut at the second internode helps a lot. So topping at the second internode, mainfold and then continue for another three internodes and topping again. You can decide to cut something along the way I left perhaps too much stuff here. However, for better or worse, everything that can see a fair amount of light enough to flower well is left. The plant is a specimen with a medium internodal distance and I managed to work it reasonably well. We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start card that maintains the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer now is Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a little swollen, do not start immediately. Well this little girl is forming very much like kush buds would , very dense and thick bud with very few white pistel hairs , A very attractive bud too watch form , she is packing on bud like there is no tomorrow as you can see from the pics and drinking the pot dry every 3 days of 8 pints , the colour from this plant is truly a sight indeed and the smell she is giving off is like a mouthful of blackberry jelly and icecream back when you was a kid , i am very excited about this one and cannot wait too try her ,

I was reading on someone else’s diary how their ph meter was not calibrated right. I feel I’ve been doing everything by the book but still burnt tip and leaf distress. I’m checking my ph meter today. I’m told also that the most mature plant looks to be ready for harvest. It’s really short but it smells like fruit loops or something and is frosty as hell.

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺
