Hello This is the beginning of week 3 of veg. I've been harvesting the Blackberry Moonrocks I had going in the greenhouse, so I didn't have time to show these seeds from germination. The breeder - WeedaSec - was with Coastal Mary, who is on the breeders page on this site. I bought these seeds from her. Since I bought these seeds he has moved to a different site with other breeders. I checked before I wrote this - he is now of his own site selling only his seeds. I guess he doesn't play well with others. I also bought 15 Pink Kush seeds, but when they showed up 3 of them were white. I contacted Coastal Mary who said WeedaSec packages their own seeds and I should see if they germinate. I also wrote on his site about the white seeds but there was no response. I just took the loss. So don't buy from this guy. he doesn't play well with others and he's in it for the money. 10 out of 10 seeds have sprouted, but one has stopped growing. Not enough energy I guess OK, I'll find the next Freak Bros comic book and start it next week so you can enjoy some good cannabis content in this diary. Ok. Have fun. Chuck.

Hello. This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of veg. The plants are doing OK. Got some small brown spots on some of the lower leaves. Might be an indication of needing more food in the future. I'll keep and eye on that. Turned up my new light I got to replace the florescence in this cupboard I call "the cloning cupboard". Turned it up to 30% now. It's a Viper Spectra XS3000 Pro. I got a good deal on it off a used things site here where I live. It's got 7 settings. Started a new comic book for your enjoyment. I remember buying this one at the head shop in 1985 for 2 dollars Canadian. Now this first edition is worth 15 Dollars Canadian. This is the second book in the Idiot's Abroad series. Hello This is the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of veg. I was busy putting the Blackberry Moonrocks in jars last week and didn't have time to report. I poked my head in to water them and saw some flowers. We've got 3 females and 1 male that is short. I'm always looking for short males to pass on their genes It's also sticky with the rub the stem and feel your fingers test, and smelly with the rub the stem and smell your fingers test. 3 things I look for in a male. The 3 females weren't as smelly. All the plants that showed their sex were topped and I'm still waiting on 5 plants to show their sex still. Ok. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Hello. This is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of veg. Found another female.. so that makes it... 6 females... and 2 males... and 1 undecided. The undecided one should show it's sex by next week. The male I found last week is the shortest and the smelliest one I've found in a while. If it has lots of flowers I'll use it for breeding. Has a dank sorta slightly bitter smell to it. All the plants that have shown their sex to me have been topped, to get ready for repotting and spreading out the mainlines branches. They are doing good. Got some yellow leaves from neglecting them some times. Oh well... I'm not perfect. I saw some fungus gnats in my other clone cupboard and in some of the upstairs houseplants, so I got some nematodes to get rid of them. I didn't read the Amazon add very well and got the teabags instead of the one you add to the water and water in. I cut open the teabag to find small cannabis sized pellets, sorta like snail eggs. The nematodes were in these. I put 10 to 15 pellets on each plant and watered in. I spread the pellets from 2 teabags around the houseplants and 2 teabags for my small clones. I saved 4 teabags for another application in 15 days. Hope it works! Putting some of my summer seeds away in airtight containers for the future. I'd be happy to send you some freshly made seeds if you'll do a diary on them. I was hoping for some people to be testers for me. I took a good male from Panty Punch by Seed Stockers, and crossed it with my best female clones.. Hello. this is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of veg. What good luck... I've got 7 females and 1 good male out of 9 plants. I killed 1 male and 1 seed didn't pop. Things are going well... The last undecided plant turned out to be a female. So I'm already to repot them and put them in the tent. I've got a 5x5 tent with a Spider Farmer Light, SF4000 in there. I think I'll have to get more soilless soil. I use Sunshine Mix #4. I usually get 4 bales to get me through a year. Lots of big spiders in my yard this year. The bees are sure taking a beating though. I haven't seen one in days. No wasps or mosquitos too. Hope your enjoying the comics. Have Fun. Chuck.

Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of veg. Wow... Started 10 seeds, 9 popped and grew. I got 2 males and 7 females. When repotting these plants, some of these females were strong smelling. One smelt strong, like unneutered cat pee, others had a nice dank smell to them. Some plants look a little yellow because I sorta mistreated them sometimes, forgot to water them a couple of times, then might have given a bit too much water a couple of times, might have given a bit too much food a couple of times. Hopefully they will be a bit more forgiving now they are in bigger pots and won't take too long to recuperate. I'll post my nutrients next week. Was out to the grow store this week and spent over 600 dollars Canadian for my yearly supply of nutrients. I try to get everything I need, for a year, in one go. I spent 200 dollars Canadian on 4 bales of soil for the year. Man the prices just keep going up.... I've got 6 plants per tent this grow, hopefully there will be enough room. OK. Have fun out there. Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of veg. The plants soil has dried enough to give more water with food this time. I can see the plants have recovered enough from the repotting stress that the growing tips are reaching up. Some of the longer branches will be cut down once I see new growth, to make 2 tips per branch. That will slow them down some. I'm not sure if I'll keep the male. Although it smell good, it doesn't have very many flowers per flower stock. I can wait a few weeks more to see if it gets more flowers Been working this week to get my main grow room up and running this fall. I'll have in there clones of Critical. Dos Si Dos 33, Amnesia Lemon, Pink Kush, The White. and Pinoal Kush. I've got room for 7 plants in there so I might double up on one of those clones. After these plants are harvested I want to have a full run of Vanilla Frosting by Anesia Seeds. To fill 2 tents and my grow room, probably 16 plants, and pick the best one for breeding next year. OK. Hello. This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Got in here today and did some more training with these girls. Some of the branches were too long and had to be trimmed back. This will slow down their upward growth. Well, fall has hit. There are leaves blowing everywhere. I've got a Dos Si Dos and a Pinoal Kush in the greenhouse that need to be cut down this week. Smell good in there. Got my main grow room up and going last week with 8 old clones. These clones are about 3/4 of a year old and need a couple of week to recuperate and get back to normal. Might start a diary on them in a couple of weeks. I haven't done a multi strain diary yet. Think about it. I'll try to remember to list my nutrients next week. Hello. This is the end of week 10 and the beginning of week 11 of veg. These plants are doing good this week. Left them alone this week. Just watered these plants once this week with food. Got to get in here tonight to water and do some more training. Got my new covid vaccine yesterday. They do the seniors first. Covid is on the rise... be careful out there. I think it will be still a couple of more weeks before I go into flowering. This is the end of this Freak Bros. book, just the adds and last pages next week. So I'll dig out a old comic called "Weirdo" by Robert Crumb and other underground artist in the 1970tee's. I was thinking about showing the comic Zap from the same era, but it's too graphic with sex and violence for you young people. Hello. This is the end of week 11 and the beginning of week 12 of veg. Got in here last week and did a trimming, and some topping of the longer branches. While I was trimming, I noticed 2 seeds on the floor. I guess when they were in the cupboard with the males growing up, one of the female plants (#4) got it's preflowers pollenated with male preflower pollen. Got about 20 seeds. Don't know which plant pollinated it, I had this strain and Pink Kush going at the same time. Both had open male preflowers when I checked one day when they were growing up. That's ok, it will be a good future project. I'll turn these plants over to flowering next week. The next trimming will be before the 3rd week of flowering, before the resin starts. I found a little bird in the top of my mason bee house sleeping one night with the flashlight. All I could see was a fluff of feathers and quickly turned out the flashlight hoping not to disturb it and have it fly off into the dark night, not to return. I got my Flir thermal camera out the next night to find it... still there sleeping. I'll try not to disturb it till... Spring. The other thermal is my black cat on the back porch. She looks warm. Hello. This is the end of veg and the first week of flowering. Just turned them over to flowering this morning. These plant s have the light on for the night shift. Got in here and took clippings with them on veg cycle and the clippings will go under 18/6 lights to keep them on the veg cycle. Found a new comic for you to look at. It's Weirdo #7 released in 1993. it has Robert Crumb and other underground artist in it. Yes... some of the comics are a little weird... but that's right in the title. Ok. Keep growing Straight. Hello. This is the end of week 1 and the beginning of week 2 of flowering. Man, Are these girls stretching now. They just took off this week. All I did this week was water once. They need food tonight. These plants are on the night shift. Moved up the light a bit when I took these pics. Expecting a big storm tonight. Gust up 90 or 100 km. Oh Boy... Fun... Most of the leaves are down now and that will take the rest of them off. I put leaves under all my bushes and trees as mulch. The bugs will have the leaves mostly eaten by next fall. I've read that 4 inch's of leaf mulch will leave 1/2 inch of fresh top soil once the bugs have eaten it. Wow, I'm (actually it's the bugs) building top soil in my yard. I dump some leaves on my vegetable garden too and work it in, in the spring, for healthy soil. The worms like the buried leaves too. They don't have to go far to get food and they are protected. and plants love the castings. Do you compost? Freeze it for 24 hours in a sealed container to kill any pests, then use it inside on you house plants and hobbie plants. Hey, Look up Aspirin For Plants, There's a whole bunch of stuff it does for the good. Really... Look it up. OK. Have fun out there. Chuck.

Hello. This is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of flowering. Man have these plants taken off. Man what a stretch. I've only seen sativa's grow this tall this fast. Some of these plants have 6 inches between leaf nodes. Wow. Got to get in here this week and do my final trim/prune. Paying attention to taking off the sucker branches, Opening up the middle for better air flow. And taking off some top fanleaves off for better light penetration. And putting another string around them to hold them together. They are getting tall. It's pretty damp around here, got all sorts of mushrooms growing out of the ground around here. Don't know what they are. And I'm not going to eat them. Took one, of the large brown ones to the mushroom club a few years ago and he said it's no good to eat. Won't kill you but you'll be sitting on the can for a while. It's been time for my 3 1/2 year cancer check up. Went to the ENT doctor yesterday. She couldn't find anything to be concerned about and I feel fine. Get another app. in 6 months. April. then not another for a year before they finally clear me to say cancer free. Still taking my RSO at 1/2 strength these days. .5 g a day. Feel Fine. 😃 Showed around my main grow room in the video. I'm not doing a diary on these plants but want to show you my best plants. Got some fungus gnats flying around. Was gnat free all summer, but they came in, in the fall. Got some nematodes from Amazon but the package seemed dry when I opened it. Don't know if any nematodes were still alive in the bags, but I mixed it up in water and applied it to the roots. So we'll see. Probably old stock. Been sitting 1/2 the summer in the warehouse heat. 😒 Got my seeds picked out for the next diary. (see pics) I've got room for, and I think I'll do 16 plants, to find the best/strongest one. I'm growing indicia's for my cancer, but I really love/miss sativa's. So I'm going to try this one. The description sound great. Up to 36% ( hope I get close) and tastes of pineapple and lemon. OK. Hello. This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of flowering. Got in here and trimmed/pruned up for the last time for these plants. Took the sucker branches off and some lower fanleaves that didn't get much light. I also took some fanleaves off in the middle for better air movement and more light to penetrate deeper into the plants, makes bigger lower buds. When I took out Plant #5 to trim it up some, to find, some 1/2 open male flowers that fell on the floor as little balls. She got chopped down fast. There are no light leaks, so I'm thinking it's a trait of these plants. Somewhere in the past, this strain, got a hermie breed into the line and it may show up some more. Going to have to watch them carefully. Each bud has a lot of white pistils. To me, that means, the buds are going to swell with lots of little teardrop flowers, I hope. It was a wet week here. I spent most of it inside taking care of my plants. OK. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of flowering. Man... What's up with these plant's??? The THC crystals should have started after week 3 of flowering. Here it is the start of week 5 and I'm hardly seeing any crystals. Plant #1 has the most but not that much. The breeder sent out some white seeds with the Pink Kush when I bought these seeds too. I wasn't impressed. At least they seem healthy. I've have been sent bad seeds a couple of times. It's frustrating. Especially when they won't answer your emails. I hope he get's some bad karma for this. Bought a EMF meter. I was blown away when I could detect the power lines on the sidewalk in front of my house. I had no idea the mf reading would be so high. Near the ground it was close to 0 but as I held it up over my head the numbers went high and the little alarm sounded to avoid the area. And that's on the sidewalk just outside my house. Whenever I go for a walk those power lines are there, overhead bombarding me with a strong magnetic field. The scientist's say the EMR fields won't harm me, but they are everywhere. My portable phone base and wi-fi were quite high in the radio frequency too. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Hello. This is the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of flowering. Still hardly any resin crystals on these plants. Very poor breeding. Not happy with them. The breeder left a message on the bottom if you want to read it. He said these were medical grade seeds. Can't see it in them. These are crap. I'm going to do a harvest report in a few weeks... and it won't be good. Don't buy from this breeder, you'll get crap like this. Got a Bubble Magic Pollen Tumbler for making Kief, which is where these plants are heading for. Quite week for me. One of the municipality's dumps the chewed up leaves from the vacuum trucks that suck them up at the curbs in some parks for the public. I went and got a couple of loads for under my bushes and plants. I'll need one more to finish. I normally get them at the curb up and down my street, but the leaf crews did too good of a job this year. Ok. Be Great. Chuck.

Hello This is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of flowering. Some of these buds are bulking up, but they still have lots of white stigmas on them. A few of the plants are putting out some resin crystals now, and there's some purple going on. Should I let them grow for 10 weeks and hope they get better or cut them down at 8 weeks? That's what I'm asking myself. I've got the Bubble Magic Pollinator kief maker, is where I can see these plant going too. The plants are starting to drop some fan leaves now, but are doing well otherwise. Ok. Have fun. Chuck.

They are starting to bulk up and produce more resin now. Some have some good smells too. I was thinking about cutting them down after 8 weeks, because they weren't impressing me, but now, I think I'll wait to 10 weeks before harvesting. Just to see. I might have to eat some of my words if they turn out to be good. We'll see... I've showed some pics of my other DIY old grow room, my first grow rom. It's got my best plants in it. Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. The plants are starting to fill out now. I'll flower them for another 2 weeks, and I'll flush them for the last week. Still disappointed with the amount of resin crystals they seem to not be producing. Yeah, they've got some but is it enough to get me high? That's the question that I'm asking myself. The description says up to 25% THC, but I'm not seeing that amount of resin crystals for 25%. But the plants are growing well. Still a lot of white stigma's going on some plants. But some have finished and turned the stigma's an orange/brown. I'll flower these plants for another 2 weeks and I'll flush for the last week before harvest. Ever just listened outside at midnight on new years eve. I've heard, people beating pots and pans, fireworks, hoots and halers. car/truck horn's, ship horns/whistles, train whistles. It lasts for about 15 mins and then it's quite again. OK. Have Fun on New Years Eve. Be safe and don't drink too much. Chuck.

Hello. This is the end of death bubba. Was so disappointed after I finished trimming plant #7 I cut down all the clones. Won't grow this again. Each plant produced about 100g of fluffy, light buds. With a total for 6 plants of.... 596g The strongest, might have been 14% THC, my wife said where's the stone/high? Plant #5 went hermie and made some seeds. I picked up about 100 seeds off the floor as I trimmed But I caught it in time not to pollinate the whole tent. See his comment below and see the pictures for yourself...
