Last week I got myself a humidifier. So right now my grow tent is 60/60/160 and features a Spider Farmer 2000, which is kinda oversized, but still works in there despite what other people told me - but who knows, maybe I’ll learn my lesson later on. There’s a small exhaust fan and a regular fan without oscillation + the humidifier. I also put in a young vegging chili plant I got from a coworker - it’ll be put outside eventually tho. 05/21: Starting week 5 and my plant is looking very bushy. She has gained some height in the past few days and I hope that’ll continue a bit. Can’t wait to see her flower. 05/22: She grew a bit since yesterday - especially sideways. Her newest leaves have yellow tips, which I suspect is due to me moving the light down to experiment - my mistake. I hope that’s what it is and that the next set of leaves won’t suffer. 05/23: Not much to say - she’s looking lush and nice to me! Since the beginning of this week she’s grown to 23cm height, so 5cms in a couple of days. 05/24: Found some down-clawing leaves today and some people suggest it can have something to do with air circulation. I only spotted two leaves doing this and I hope it’ll stay like that 😬 05/25: Haven’t had much time to look at my plant today, but my wife sent me a nice picture of her. She seems to be doing fine! 05/26: I think she’s started to flower? So that’s pretty cool. I also removed some of the lower branches, since I felt like she was too bushy for me. I like how she looks now. 05/27: I’m so happy with how she looks. She does have some burnt edges on her leaves - but she’s had that since she was born, so I’m starting to be less worried about that and just let her do her thing. I think defoliation was a good decision. She is also flowering now - it took me a little bit to realize... I thought the leaves were just looking super strange.

Last week of veg, slowly settling into the new schedule of automated feeding and the warming weather. I am in desperate need of an accurate and efficient temp controller, the ones I have are a simple on/off thermostat and the changes in speed are too dramatic.

The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. The plants show healthy growth, but when I arrived at a secret place, I found that one of the 400 watts burned out, so part of the tent was not lit. This lamp has served me for about seven years, but nothing lasts forever. When I did the defolation, the second 250-watt lamp burned out, but unfortunately it worked for more than a year. It's good that I had replacement lamps. Due to the problem with the lamp, one side of the plants did not develop very well. But despite this, the processes of the plant became of sufficient size so that I took them for cloning. I took ten shoots, placed them in a hormone gel and transferred them to Rootriot, moving the clones into the greenhouse creating a microclimate there. So today marks the 80th day for the zkittlez and forgotten cookies. They will be going into flush next week!! The orange sherbet is stacking and fied the 3x3 wall to wall. Grape walker kush is 4 feet tall.. Gotta love coco :D

*ADVISE NEEDED* The day before yesterday I discovered a huge error in my system. I placed filter material in the feed-throughs of the breeding boxes. This is to prevent the roots from growing together over time. However, what I caused with that is very difficult to explain. The bottom line is that the distribution of food and circulation was actually not good at all. This also explained the differences in the water temperature, but also PH and EC values. That is now completely under control because it now runs stably for 2 days. However, you can see that the records have had a bad start. I am thinking about starting over. Week 3. Week 2 was looking for the correct settings for my system. I found out that the temperature in the bins is quite different. When I set the water chiller to 19 degrees, it all flows fine into the first container. There it rises about 0.5 degrees per bin. The margin of the chiller is about 1 degrees, causing too many fluctuations in the system, with tray 1 becoming too cold and the last one too cold. I solved this by shielding the box at the inlet of the tent with heat-protective foil. I also put a fan on the water chiller. If that catches on, the entire loft heats up, whith more fluctiations. However, I have enough space to measure very precisely and I am getting more and more control. I think the brown leaves were the cause of much too hot water. Since I have the water temperature under control, I see that the new leaves are growing nicely. Moreover, since yesterday (13-5) I received the nutrition. 10 days late. I just finish the root scheme I think. That is still 3 days a 70 mm per day combined with BioBizz Heaven. I tried to take some pictures of the roots and some close ups. I hold the lid with my left hand and with my right hand I try to take a picture zoomed in (max). While the wind makes the roots dance past my lens😵 Something different than usual ... Hope you like it. If you see something that needs to be addressed, let us know. It is my first breeding so there will undoubtedly go wrong. This week I also connected the water reservoir with which I can flush the entire system at once. With this I also control the Ph in the system. Will post photos soon.

Stretch is done. Defoliation for F21 will be tomorrow. Other than starting these too early. Happy with the progress! Bud sites galore, nice healthy ladies, fungus gnats on the decline. On cruise control soon!

Day 92. In video you can see how brown is Gorilla Max pistils and how sad looking is pale Bunny Gorilla, both girls are drinking fast, so maybe they will finish with decent result, that was two strongest plants, sad ... All other girls are ok, Control garden is huge, side colas , which gets more light caught up tops standing in dark, funny to observe. So many plants bring humidity up, will do defoliation in 4 days on my new days off. Silica and CalMag out. Day 94. Girls are okish, Bunny Gorilla refused to drink pure water, pot was still heavy, i will check in the morning, but she went into some stress or lockdown a bit, but maybe its just my paranoia , morning weighting will show. Defoliation is a must, but i know now, that this time its overcrowded, cant access pots for lifting, max 10 plants and i think for 2 month veging those airpots are too small, i think they have even only like 15 liters of actual soil in them despite 20 liters on price tag, next round i am back to fabric pots , have new 30 liters waiting in dark room for theirs turn. Day 94 Evening. Morning for me, but girls where going to sleep, some pots already ultra light, same mistake in one grow ??? Never !!! ;)))))) All girls got heavy feed, managed to mix up 1000 ppm from 4 components only, huge amounts involved, very hard without BioGrow, think it was too early for sure to take N out. With Bunny was real headache, but at the end she was light as most others... Overthinking not good, better to flow with them. Honestly think such version of grow would be better with single plant or higher electric capacity ... Don't want to move place, so next grow again change of tactics..... ;))))) Toping on 5 nod with mini LST and veg max 5 weeks. Loads of bottom buds are smaller than seed from which they grow. Think to lolitop all that crap. Two days till next watering to make decision ... Day 95. Girls are happier than ever, they needed more food, thats all. Now i think i will do feed/feed/water regime till end of week 8, then heavy flush, its summer at mines and i can do it properly outside. Girls bulk up every day. Thinking to lift Gorillas tonight and all lights as well, Incredible Bulks and Strawberry Cough doing magic in shadow , what will they do with a bit of more light then ??? ;) Day 96. Socialism in my garden ;)))) Cookies are crap, Gorillas are The Joy, all Control Garden makes me wanna sing as well... No more defoliation or lolitoping, they are fattening up and i want to see final weight and nice colours .... Heavy feed at the end of this day or next morning . Happy growing !

Their buds are filling out more which is nice. Update: Noticed some light spotting on the youngest plant. Plant leaves measured around 80ish, so I put my light up an inch or so and turned my fan up. Youngest plant is looking the best with great buds. I just realized I have no idea how to tell if a plant is ready to be harvested Bud is thickening up still with some really great trichome production. Lol someone send me a better camera so I can take frosty pics.

Day 17F-24F (Day 19) Man it’s such a shame that bbb#1 stunted out. It was so damn vigorous until it’s most recent feeding. I will make sure to cut back on teas next round as they can be a wild card sometimes. All 5 plants are packing on some serious early frost. But I’m not seeing too much chunk to the buds yet. My other grow that was flipped on the same day has almost no frost yet so that’s a good sign. (Day 21) Big strip today. I will pull off as many leaves as I need to ensure nearly all bud sites are exposed to adequate light. I’m still seeing excess N so I’m going to water in 2 gallons each until I get some runoff. The plants seem to be up taking water pretty decently so I’m going to push it a little with a heavier watering. Wow do the plants look amazing after that strip and flush! Everything is praying up beautifully, including #3 in the back. Let’s hope that gets it back on track now. (Day 22) I want to give a PK boost but all my bloom nutrients have way too much N and I don’t really want to risk it toxing anymore. I could give it a little bit of 0-18-0 bat guano and some 0-0-15 kelp extract but it could be completely unnecessary. I can’t see any signs of deficiencies but a small surplus couldn’t hurt either. (Day 23) I like how the ladies responded to the thorough watering. I will up my watering to 1 gallon every 48 hours from now on. It sucks to see how short bbb#1 is. I was expecting such a huge stretch but it never came because of that fucking tea! I should have leached the medium as soon as I saw stunting. It’s too bad because it definitely had the most potential for yield. (Day 24) I’m starting to think the main problem with bud size this round is all the topping I did early on. Not to mention they were vegging for nearly 3 months. I will try to pick off most of the larf before it wastes anymore energy. I think the ideal style of growing for bud size and veg time is a semi sea of green, or 6-8 plants per 25 square feet. I’m not a big fan of these giant plants as it’s a lot of wasted veg time and smaller bud size overall. The smell is really ramping up!
