First grow using Fast Buds seeds, really looking forward to seeing this one for myself

Doesnt look like these are goin to join up. Quite small in stature with small colas. Gona give em alittle overdrive see if itt fattens em up. Tri starting to turn alittle milky not long left 2/3weeks

The budlets have fully developed and are now starting to fatten up. There hasn't been any deformed leafs or signs of nutes burn so the flush of distilled water from last week seemed to work so I'll b using 1/4 the the recommended dosage for there first feeding this week. Ap is really showing her purple color with the budlets and her sugar leafs. Blueberry is more potent smell so we will see what this week has in store.

After a week of growth, the Blackberry is out of the dome. It was overgrowing it, so I just transplanted it into its final autowatering pot for simplicity. I normally go seedling pot to 1.5g pot to 3-5 gallon pot, but this very tall 2.5 gallon airpot will be a first for me. I think the benefits it will receive outweigh the cons. I am now running a humidifier at 60 percent RH, and will be watching the plants carefully throughout the week as I dial up the nutrients and ensure a good VPD for the plants. The Blackberry is a bit more vigorous and healthy than the Blackberry Kush by Dutch Passion growing with it. I hope the Kush catches up, but I am very pleased with the Fastbuds at this early state. Thanks for reading, and stay safe everyone! 👍🌱 Day 10: started adding silicon and rapid start (and a little pH down) and upped the trio slightly. In case anyone is wondering if there is any perlite, there is! It's just chilling under layer of pure coco. Right now there is 3l of perlite per pot, with the highest concentration lowest in the pot. The Blackberry is growing very well at this point, and definitely does not mind the earlier transplant! Day 12: I lowered the light height by 8in, down to my more usual vegitative height, to ensure maximum light exposure for this vigorous plant. The Blackberry is doing well, and will definitely get topped after it gets another node or so of growth. Day 13: I am running low on calimagic as a cal mag source, so I switched out to Greenleaf nutrients cal-mag pro that I have a bag of (that will last forever!) It has a bit more nitrogen, which is good for the current plant stage, so I can save the calimagic for flowering if the plants don't mind the switch. I mix about .5-.6 EC worth of Cal mag, which is about .625tsp per 5 gallons of the Cal mag pro. I will have this reflected on tomorrow's diary entry.

I transplanted the Blackberry Kush a little early so it could start benefitting from the auto watering. For my grow set up I am not worried about overwatering, and I think the root development will be just fine in my tall, 2.5g pots. I will keep dialing up the nutrients carefully, as the Blackberry Kush is showing some minor development issues which I hope will self resolve (the Fastbuds Blackberry is doing great in the same conditions). Thanks to those who responded to my grow question regarding this plant's leaf deformaties, the general consensus was that if the other parameters are good and this is the only plant showing symptoms it is likely genetic. This is also what I have suspected, as the only other plant I have had display these characteristics was a Black Cream almost a year ago grown with a completely different growing style. That plant grew alright (although slightly behind it's peers) so I hope this one can do well once it starts taking off! Things are looking really good, all the olants seem to be alright with only one or two starring to yellow... Not paying too much attention to that though. Starting to get some really interesting smells out of her and most of the Black dog crosses have gone purple... Pretty interesting. Chempie cross is just a stunning plant, making huge buds super nicely spaced out and frosting up already Stopped feeding grow at this point to try get a better Pk ratio going for kid flower and will start using minor amounts again toward the end of flower

It was a great week for this Sour D pheno. She is really starting to fatten up now and is noticeably different after every dark period in terms of the size of her flowers. She is getting tricky to move to the shower where I normally water so she will likely not move again until she is cut. This makes the watering process more tedious but it is a necessary evil to avoid any unwanted mishaps this late in the game. I already caused her to lean a bit from swaying back and forth carrying her across the room during the last fertigation. The buds still dont have a hugely pronounced smell (like I'd expect from Sour D) or much trichome coverage but I am reassured by the fact that she seems to be a late bloomer and is apparently just starting to take off in terms of flower production. I've only seen a scant number of orange pistils so I think she still has several weeks to go. If she starts to take on that characteristic gassy smell as puts on some frost so I can press her into decent rosin, I'll be more than happy with this run when it's all said and done.
