Here we are day 55 for our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid. I would immediately like to say, do you notice anything by any chance? I said day 55 and we're pretty much ready. The leaves are turning yellow regularly, I have removed the fertilizers, the pistils are ripe, the resin is out, there are all the signs for a harvest which should take place towards the end of next week. The plants were born on April 6th, I repeat on April 6th for those who cannot grasp the concept. Most certainly Watermelon Candy and Wurlz will be harvested around June 6th, guys...8 weeks...not even 9 or at most nine weeks. If you're good at math, you do it otherwise I'll lend you some fingers. For topping lovers it means that if you want to do topping on autoflowering plants they won't finish in biblical times, according to my calculations even doing topping shouldn't go beyond three months, like an autoflowering from the previous generation. Why am I talking about the previous generation? Because these have certainly moved forward with speed, I have seen them grow and above all swell the flowers like I have never seen them do. As for the rest of the resin and pistils, everything is really in place. I want to do a terpene inspection soon and evaluate the ripeness for the harvest. It was going really well and started feeding it nutrients. I started with grow big and cal mag. I started raising the ph a little bit and she seemed to adjust and love it. Other than that good week!

Good week for this lovely lady. Her color has improved immensely and she's almost caught up in size to the Blueberry. Since they're settled in I took away the support hoops and will pack up the row cover. Yet again I think it did a fabulous job reducing stress from transplanting. I also added in some Calendula plants yesterday afternoon as they make good companions. It's gonna be a straight up partay in this garden bed😜 Update 6/26- I totally forgot to add that on Monday the garden got a spraying of horn manure. Horn manure is a biodynamic preparation of cow manure that's been fermented in a buried horn. This results in a material that's teeming with beneficial flora and fauna for the soil. Ideally it would be sprayed prior to planting in the spring as it encourages healthy root growth. I purchased the pre-potenized so that I only had to spend 20 mins stirring rather than an entire hour. That would have been brutal😵 I sprayed it at night when the earth is breathing in and used a spruce bough to sprinkle it over the plants in the garden. The extra icing on the cake was that there was a rain the day before, and another the day after I sprayed so it was well watered in.

I know you shouldn't really be defoliating when auto plants are in flower but I had to clear a path for airflow around the bottom of the plant because humidity is high because of the summer months apart from that she is going from strength to strength couldn't be happier would definitely grow Dutch passion again

Back left plant is a bit lighter compared to the others. Gonna continue defoiling n chopping sucker buds for the rest of this week n probably leave em alone after week 3 commences.

Day 84 The Durban plants are actively growing foliage and reaching for the light, despite being bent. Every day after the lights go out, I bend their tops parallel to the floor (training). Sometimes the stems break slightly, but they are still flexible enough to recover. In 2-3 weeks, I plan to transplant them to a permanent location, where there will be 20-30 cm of space above the tops for ventilation. In the next cycle, I think four weeks of vegetation will be enough for ripening. At Gordem Delicatesies (GD), Brazilians have stretched in 20 weeks, sometimes faster. For me, this variety develops more slowly; I'm not chasing maximum speed. Meanwhile, the Jack Herer is ripening in the box above them. I'm waiting for a manicure table (thanks to Mila for the tip!). As soon as it arrives, I'll start harvesting. I'm glad that with this device I can meet the deadlines precisely.

Hey family. Weekly update on these purple girls. One is super purple as the other two have shades of it. Getting close as most likely only a couple more weeks. I really couldn't be happier the way they're progressing and the flowers are dense to the touch with a super sweet smell.

She's a very demanding plant. In addition to these listed nutrients I'm also using an organic mixture as well at full strength and she seemingly wants more lol. Very interesting plant indeed. Her buds are becoming dense and look more advanced than what usual week 4 flower looks like so she will most likely finish in maybe 7-8 weeks I assume. Very nice smell and resin production. Temperatures are very much different than usual here in the caribbean. Nights stay cool and day temps have soared for the month. Damn global warming!!!!!!!!!! On a positive note she's still doing well with no signs of heat stress and by next week I expect even more rapid production as she approaches the end of mid bloom. Stay with me, she's gonna be nice and until next week................ #HappyGrowing

Cuarta semana, ya van tomando buen tamaño en general todas las plantas, estoy aplicando los fertilizantes de Plagron combinados en el mismo riego, pronto comenzaré a subir la ventilación y cuando tengan buen tamaño las paso a flora, veremos que tal crecen!!

J’ai fait une petite défoliation pour éclairer de nouveaux top. Et dégarnie l’apex centrale pour le ralentir par manque de place en hauteur. Très bonne santé et développement des branches latérales au top

Week 9, 3 gal transfer into 7 gal....Healthy no pesticides problems or Nutrient deficiencies at all before the flip to

Recovery ,recovery, recovery. Drowned them with nuts @1400 ppm. Hot for a hot soil mix. Soil mix was missing something different that 3 of the strains were needing. I dropped the bomb on them, defoliated the hell out of them and lst . Dark Devil no lst. Let the nutrients set 2 days and flushed with RO testing run off and ph. The plants that weren't showing to much signs of nutrient burn flushed with sledge hammer back to around 1200 ppm 6.5 ph. Plants with burn flushed back to 600 ppm wattered with dechlorinated tap at 7.0 ph. Finally the seeds man white widow and the gg#4 started into flower. The kera white widow and the critcle purp are loving the environment and nutes. May have to flush the Dark Devil a little more or full flush it. Still showing signs of nute burn. Over all happy with the grow. I definitely know what each strain likes and what they dont. I'm keeping a physical journal on each for future grows. Lessons learned: For a first indoor grow and a first auto grow, it would have been easier to select hybrids that were close in their sativa/indica ratio. Sativas are sensitive temperamental little girls. Get a dehumidifier so the room or tent can be contained with less co2 loss for summer. Ventless blue flame wall heaters work great in the winter for heating the room and creating plenty of co2. Running a test grow with 6 plants when your home only 40 hours then gone for 3 days is fun insanity.
