Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)

I've got another clone.of this in the seedling station getting read for the next grow cycle. Once that is done I'll let this pheno die off and try more tfuck seeds see what other phenos pop.

This week on the chem dog hs amazing putting on so much weight! The buds have swelled like no bussiness this week! Only been doing straight water for little over a week trying to let her know its time to finish up. Put on alot of color looks like the nodes are just so swollen that they gana pop. Of a tric shot on friday shows they are about 10 % amber on very top buds lower buds r further along. Smell is so strong like a desil lemon possibly. Still dont know where to take the smell will prolly after dry ir cure!!! Sooo

This week I decided to start feeding her some nutes. She went through some serious lollipopping aswell 😳..😆!! So she basically received a bloom booster ( 1: 12:12 ), I also added some potassium booster ( 0:0:35 ). I think she loves her nutes alot! She gave me a good stretch and formed much more bud sites which has me all excited 😊..

Over all Forbidden Runtz is a beautiful lady. She had a few issues in the beginning with the development and growth, but in the end she came out great.

Flowering Day 56: Howdy Growmies. Hope we are all growing abundant crops with hits like a mule. It is finally the final week for ripening on the #1 and #2 Mango creams. Both plants have started to show some amber trichromes under the microscope but only in very singular points at present. They will be fed with plain water in a few days time as they were fed their final feed of the shogun Dragon force yesterday. The week has been a great example of ripening with the majority of the pearly white pistils starting to go orange initially now turning a burnt orange colour. They both have a few white one still to turn and even a few newly released ones around so i think it will be a few more days at least #1 is a fair sized budded girl and her lowers are going to be a positive addition with no real larf to worry about.I did leave a fair amount of her leaves for the flowering so expect trimming to be the usual sentence.lol #2 has been my masterpiece throughout the grow of these girls amd she continues to impress to the end it seems. She is a very big lady and even after I tried to fim her , she bounced back and created that huge main cola... The sides are doing just as well as the main is and they alone will yield well. She has done her breeders proud @exoticseeds #4 at day 49 looks ready to rock already just like the # 3 that harvested at day 39. Her trichs have Amber's around but still a few clear so I won't pull her too early . I am more sure she is the same Phenotype as the #4 now she is looking so ready. very different looking to the other 2 too. Now comes the patience again with watching the trichromes daily. .be safe growmies.

Hooked up my carbon filter today. I'm only using it to scrub the air on a timer. Decided to poke a few holes in the ducting to help move scrubbed air around my plant. Added the other fan back in to keep air circulating. Since I don't have fresh air coming in I plan on using a supplement for co2. What are you guys using? It's only a small 2×2×6 tent with one plant and running a 150w HP's light.

Wet paper towel method, in ziplock bag. Waited for 1.5cm root before transplant to its final container (its an autoflower). I will update with pictures of the seedling rising from the soil in a couple of days.... ----+update 2days later something is popping slowly out of the soil ;)

Germ Week. Will grow the genetics but want nothing else to do with @Fast_Buds. While my other Jack Herer Autos will be in 7GAL fabrics, the Bruce Banner Autos will go in my basic 5GAL fabrics. Trying a new organic super soil from BlueSkyOrganics. Welcome to my Ztrawberry Diary sponsored by Green House Seeds. Days 85-98 Flowering Days 35-47 Flower Days 17-30 Plant is coming along real nice. She has stacked up in mass, rock hard big ass buds. Gonna be a very intense smoke. Has taken awhile for the top buds and bottom to follow up. Nearly all pistils up and down the plant are 70-30 Trichomes are nearly all cloudy pushing 35+ambers. Another week on water after this. I've upped the co2 to combat the high tent temperatures of 29c. Her buds are big, dense, stick of ripe berries with hints of gas and other a dank musk. Bit pungent. Really nice. Time for soft flushing. And to go under SF-1000 or lower the temperature. Diet/Defoliation Added a few of plagrons organic like with Atami products and all buds are getting nice and evenly ripening. Very happy with the products I used this grow, mainly Green House Feeding mineral line, and got some amazing fungi from the Biobloom I used at the start of pre flower. Carried her through most of her bloom phases. And I had to add other PK booster and a few terpine enhancers. This was her last day on nutrients. She'll be going under my SF-1000 now for ripening with lower temps. She's only been heavily on co2 this wk. (A few days. So, it won't of had much affect on it boost wise). Got a decent defol through her later stages of bloom. Most of her fans were removed and took a few sugars, well they were fans before the cakyxs swollen.
