Going off what other people say about 2x-3x growth during the preflower stretch I decided it's time to flip!

GORILLA MELON / 420FASTBUDS WEEK #12 OVERALL WEEK #2 FLOWER This week was another good week for this lady she doing her thing she's right about 2 feet tall 16 inches in width and she might be done stretching as she grown about 2 inches the last two weeks. The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had sunshine and clear skies until the afternoon. We had clouds roll in and about 4:00 P.M. a severe thunderstorm hit. There was high wind, heavy rain, and grape sized hail. Fortunately the hail lasted only a few minutes. Day 2 we have clear skies and sunshine. The temperature is mid 70's. Day 3 we had rain and thunderstorms through the previous night and into the morning. We had sunshine, clear skies, and temperatures in the upper 70's. That was followed by severe thunderstorms, rain, and a touch of hail from 4p.m. to 6p.m. These were topped and had thr bottom nodes removed. Day 4 we had relief from the rain. Temperatures were in the mid to upper 70's and lots of sunshine. We have a few days of sunshine in the forecast 🙏 Day 5 we had lots of sunshine and clear skies. Highs in the upper 70's and 49% humidity. We needed the dryness. 🙏. Day 6 we had clear skies and sunshine. Temperatures were in the mid to upper 70's. Day 7 we had partly cloudy skies and temps in the middle 70's. This week was a success. The plants doubled in height and thankfully didn't have any serious damage from the hail.

Plant has been getting straight pH balanced water this last week and minimal nutes. It is showing some slight nute burn so I let off a bit and raised the light canopy about 6”. I discovered that what I thought was a calcium or potassium deficiency was actually a rookie grower error by me. I have an RO system that I use to water all my strains in the grow room including this one, but when adding nutes to the water, it takes too long so I had been filling them up with well water. When I had originally tested the well water, I must had used a faulty testing agent as after testing it this last week, I was showing a pH of 7.5 vs. my RO of 6.2. Thus, every time I was adding nutes (multiple times a week) I was significantly fluctuating the pH between regular feedings and nutrient additions. To make matters worse, when I originally thought it was nute burn, I flushed each plant with well water and likely caused additional stress. Anyway, I have since learned that the well water needs to be treated, I only utilize RO water the last few days and plan to do so over this next week. Also, I have turned off the CO2 system as I was starting to see signs of heat stress on a couple of the strains (Plant #1). The literature I have reviewed suggested that these strains might be able to handle heat closer to 90F but it was also causing issues with high humidity so when I added a dehumidifier, it pushed the day temp to between 90-92F and the overnight temps were not getting low enough (maybe 85F or so). Maybe I could leave out the dehumidifier, but I was getting rH of 70% and didn’t want to risk any bud rot or mildew growth. So for now, I have turned off the CO2 and am getting high temps of 81F with 60% humidity and overnight temps of 74F and 50% humidity. Plant #1 had some heat related curling of leaves as well as some of the lower leaves showing impact of the pH fluctuations. My hope is we will be steady until harvest. Plant #2 has shown the least signs of stress and is fattening up its buds very nicely. Late in the week, some of the leaves started turning brown from the pH issue but my hope is that with RO water only, we will be on the right track. Over the next few weeks I will start monitoring the trichomes for a nice milky color for harvesting.

This girl was pollinated with Durban Skunk pollen…I await her ripening for the new strain Durban Skunk OG. She has a sweet smell thus far.

Yo lo hago solo por deporte, no porque lo fume. mantuve el ph en condiciones estables a como dictan los científicos en este rubro. la próxima😁 semana corto las plantas y las pongo a secar.

Hermoso el proceso, la verdad cada vez me gusta más todo lo que involucra al mismo! atencion, detalles, etc. Las chemical bride como verán salieron 2 fenotipos diferentes, uno con hojas más finas (tirando a sativa) y la otra hojas mas gruesas y las flores aparentan ser más "comprimidas". El olor que siento cuando toco las hojas con Resina es muy muy sabroso, realmente parece un caramelo de ananá (muy dulce, hasta empalagoso diría). En estos días voy a intentar subir un poco más el panel porque está muy cerca. Muy contento realmente con los resultados que vengo observando!

This week the smell and bud sites are starting to show. I had to cut out the hygrozyme as it fouls the reservoir no matter what I do. I hand water it when I remember which isn't often. Bumped the EC to 1000 per feeding still at 5x a day with just Floraflex B1 and B2 with CalMag and Drip Clean. Wattage is at 120. Distance is around 16 to 18". Guna do a MAJOR defoliation early next week

Die Temperatur ist weiterhin konstant, immer etwa um die 27 ° Celsius. Bisher haben wir einen sehr milden, aber auch feuchten Frühling mit nur wenigen sehr kurzen Hitzeperioden. In unserem Haus ist an sich kein Geruch wahrzunehmen. Dies liegt jedoch an unseren guten Abluft und dem großen Filter denn sobald wir die Box öffnet strömt ein unglaublich angenehmer, süßlich bis fruchtiger Geruch durch die Räume.

This time I will try legendary LSD-25 by @FastBuds ☺️ 2020.10.26 Started garmination in paper towel method, wrapped with transparent food film and placed in warm dark place. 2020.10.28 all 5 seeds sprouted and wolaah, we got TWINS! Never happend before, 2 healthy tap roots from one seed! I guess it means 120% Success rate? 🤔😆 Google it and dont know what to do, maybe try to split them? Any suggestions? 2020.10.29 Manage to safely separate twins! One left in a 5 gallon pot and other moved to small solo cup, Ill keep an close eye on it and if she bounce back in a couple of days, Ill transplant her to 5 gallon fabric pot. 2020.11.02 The little one of twins few days ago transplanted to 5 gallon pot and seems to be ok and bouncing back. They poped out of soil at 2020.10.28 so Ill wait 7 days to 2020.11.04 to officialy start vegetation stage. Stay tuned & happy growing! ✌️

Day 64 - Starting week 10 off and she’s looking gorgeous. Gave her the first week 10 feeding of the trio and all looks amazing with this girl. She’s getting fatter and filling in a ton each day and really looking forward to finishing this grow. Haven’t had a single issue with this grow and gonna try growing a few different strains to have a variety for different ailments! Day 65 - Looking good as ever and getting fat. Gave her some water today and she’ll get her next feeding on Thursday. Just watching her fatten and grow each day and loving it! Day 66 - Still fattening up and getting really frosty. Gave her the second feeding today and she’s drinking it up. Other than that, no big changes today. Day 68 - Got busy yesterday and missed watering her and it showed today. All leaves were wilting but watered her and all looks good now. She’s definitely a gorgeous plant and can’t wait to harvest in the next couple weeks. Day 69 - Closing in on the end of week 10 and not too much to complain about. Just gave her a feeding of the foxfarm and she’s really starting to fatten up and get frosty. I’m thinking about 2-3 weeks left before harvest and can’t wait. Day 70 - Rounding our week 10 and not much to update. She’s fattening and getting frostier everyday still. 2-3 weeks and I think she’ll be ready.
