Poly Harvest 622g lost about 3g to bud rot as one bud was about to go south due to all the wet assed weather lately. good thing we got her today. Easy trim Wow did winter ever get here fast. Snow this weekend so everything is chopped. Busy busy day Not sure how to amend the harvest to include Zona - 445 grams wet but do what I can She did well and in the end was healthier than Poly. Very slight point of bud rot (cold and wet) perhaps one gram affected. Will update dry weight as I may BTW the dog in the video is named Mater and he loves cannabis, he hangs around when I harvest and eats any leaves I discard. No hes a good dog leaves the plants themselves alone :) Zona 167 grams dry I am good with that on a plant almost cut down lost a few grams to bud rot nothing remarkable given the weather

Day 10F-17F (Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I鈥檓 going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I鈥檓 still a little worried I won鈥檛 make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week. (Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn鈥檛 looking as vigorous as it was last week. It鈥檚 the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn鈥檛 hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I鈥檓 surprised I don鈥檛 see more people using it. It鈥檚 cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I鈥檓 going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass. (Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now. I hate that I鈥檝e been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb鈥檚 had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I鈥檓 hoping it鈥檚 just genetics or the fact they are larger plants. (Day 15) I鈥檓 starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it鈥檚 still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it鈥檚 not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I鈥檓 going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don鈥檛 need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren鈥檛 stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21. (Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I鈥檝e seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can鈥檛 be too careful. It鈥檚 almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I鈥檒l try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn鈥檛 get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I鈥榤 planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn鈥檛 get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.

I think she's suffering from some light burn from my LED's, take a look at the pics of the top bud sites. I completely rearranged my tent and got the LED on her side up as far as it can go. I hope that helps. The buds themselves look completely fine but the sugar leaves are turning dark purple and yellow. This is only happening on the upper most bud sites. Any other feedback suggestions are welcome. Please comment away.馃檹 I got some Fox Farms Organic Big Bloom this week and added it with Recharge in this weeks feeding. Looking forward to seeing the results. Feb 5, 2018 update: Raised the LED light even more and removed most of the damaged leaves.

They smell great and trichomes taking over the plants. I've only got one concern and it's the high humidity even 64% but let's wait couple weeks more and I gonna try to adjust.

week intel: its time for second pruning they grew up too fast and need second pruning as below : first i remove big fan leaves and only leaves then let them rest for 1 day then the second part of pruning will get done that is removing branches based on these conditions: 1-if the branch is very low and never can make it to the top , 2- if branch is in shade even after pruning fan leaves , 3- if there are too many branches at the small space then non of them will get resources so if there is no space for branch then , they must get remove. everything is perfect! stresses : pruning big fan leaves and lower branches + a little E.C stress around 1.7 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 884 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster + Karbo Boost around 325 ppm - 0.6 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.4 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : no more stresses from now on till the end and from next week i'll reduce the amount of nitrogen and calcium to below half to the end.

Starting week six of flower. Conducting a defoliation experiment. It has good controls being a rdwc single strain grow in a 4 x 8. So defoliated half the tent and leaving the other half untouched.

Starting the week defoliating the babies, hopefully, they'll get more light penetration and recover in the pre-flowering phase, I think two more weeks until flowering stage.

Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! For this grow, I'm using some of the seeds I won at the Summer Buds contest from last year. I kept the seeds in my fridge door during one year. It worked very well because all the seeds successfully germinated after 48h! 馃槑 I used 3x3 seeds. I selected 2x3 seeds with the bigger root to put them in some pots. I will let them grow a bit and then select the 3 best plants to make it until the harvest. It's the first time I grow some Fast Buds under a light and in a controlled environement, I'm really curious to see how it turns out! My set-up: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Mars Hydro TSW2000 (300W). - Tristar fan (30W) - Greenmigo dehumidifier (155W). - Compo Sana universal soil (2x40l) - Timer - Weather station + pH meter Have a nice journey through my grow diary!
