🌱 Day 29 - First Day of Flowering Phase 🌱 Hey everyone! 🌿 I'm super excited to finally enter the flowering phase of my first grow! I have to admit, I was quite surprised to see that the plant had already been in pre-flower for three days and are developing really well. 🌸 Current Conditions for the Flowering Phase: Watered today with 800ml + 1ml/L BioBizz Bloom 💧🌿 Humidity: 50-55% 💧 Light: 100% intensity, 50cm distance, 16 hours light, 8 hours dark 💡🌙 Current Issues: I'm dealing with a few small yellow spots on the leaves, which seem to be caused by a calcium and magnesium deficiency.

September 25, 2021 Tons of growth this week. Its fun looking back at the pictures from a week ago compared to today, what a good week for these girls! They tripped in size in just a few days. The main stem on both plants is thick and strong. And I'm seeing significant signs of pre-flowering, especially with the Dinafem Critical+. That's super fast IMO. 4 weeks from seed to the start of flowering, 3 weeks from seedling. 👊 Fast Buds Blackberry is shorter but much stockier, with nice fat leaves. Definitely indica dominant. She hasn't started showing any purple yet, but that should start to develop in the flowering phase. I'm starting to see some pistols develop, but not as many as the Critical+. Its going to be exciting to watch both of these ladies through the flowering process. The Coast of Maine Stonington Blend is treating the girls very well, I'm very happy with the results so far. It is a little hot, I do see slight signs of nutrient burn on some leaf tips and also notice what looks like nitrogen toxicity on the tops. Nothing major, but it shows me there is still plenty of nutrition available in the soil. So far, this has been a water only grow, with a little Recharge once in a while. If they do start showing signs of nutrient deficiencies I'll start feeding them, but I'm very curious if they can make it from seed to harvest with only the nutrients available in the soil. Skipping ahead a bit. This is almost 3 weeks since I flipped light to 12/12. Slowly going to stop feeding Nitrogen nutes. I start with - FF tiger bloom (2 nitrogen) - TPS cal-mag (4 nitrogen) Then after around the 3 to 4 weeks mark, I'll stop all those and only use nutes that have little no nitrogen. Took all the clips off and defoliated everything up to the top few nodes. Want all the energy to go to the very top. She is growing great with a pretty decent stretch. Leaves are always praying to the light. My tiny MarsHydro 150watt is at 100%

Everything looking good! I have started increasing nutrients slowly now that the plants have some size to them. PPM's are at 265 and PH is at 6.3. This solution seems to be holding pretty steady. Once I see the PPM's start to drop and not rise, I will up the nutrients to around 300. I started adding a phosphite to my solutions for root health. In turf we use phosphites to combat root diseases such as pythium so I figured it couldn't hurt to try it in this setup.

Hey Friends, end of week 8 from seed :) Many new things have occurred this week Plant 1 is beginning to mature, its not growing in height as much as before but now its getting thicker and looking stronger. I am slowing increasing the amount of nutrition, I don't want to burn them at this stage. I noticed some of the leaf stems were turning red, so I decreased the light and its turning back to green. Did some defoliation this week to give more room to the smaller leaves. Plant was getting taller and was too close to the grow Light so I installed some netting inside the tent and it helped control the height for now, if it gets taller ill purchase a bigger grow tent 😩 Looking forward in seeing some bud formation in week 9, will keep you guys posted. week 8 they are starting to smell i let them go without water for a week and they were putting off the terps. did some light defoliate and gave them a 3/4 serving of water, I will check in 2 days and water a full drink for them. colas are getting heavy for the stems lots of drooping using the Scrogg net to help them stay upright. looking at 4 more weeks till harvest.

Day 14 VEG: A good week of settling in and heading outwards to the pots edges this week. No stress , just a nice, relaxed , adjusting to the world they will inhabit for the next 10 weeks or so. They are nearly all on their 5th nodes now so will possibly begin to play with the 5th growth nodes this week to break the apical dominance ( focus of energy on the main stem and bud) . I do like how neat and tidy autos can grow naturally but they can also get leggy and waste a lot of grow room vertical space that is always at a premium for me in my cramped , awkward space. I plan to now use 3 different methods on the Amnesia haze to compare side-by-side as we grow. Will hopefully answer some questions about the methods and which produces better results. One will be topped , one f.i.mmed and the last one trained over horizontal at the 5th node but uncut. The last method is better suited to a wider pot than the ones I am using but will be worth a try !. They are currently happy and healthy with no signs of any genetic issues but the #2 is in a more compacted soil which has resulted in an odd rectangular shape to her overall footprint. Her middle leaf points are retarded on all of her fan leaves so far and it will be interesting to see how she progresses too. The Girl scout cookies are also nice and healthy looking so far with no concerns at all. I plan to defoliation one of these ladies at intervals and stripped her right back during flowering while the other one is kept intact with a light defol as it grows to avoid light blocking only. Again this could answer a few queries regarding autoflowers and defoliation for a few of us. I hope to make this an interesting and informative run and welcome any comments , advice/questions or general chatter as we go along. I chose topping of Amnesia haze #2 as she looks like her nodes will be quite far apart compared to the other 2 and her lower growth was nowhere near as bushy as her 2 sisters either. This topping should stop her pushing the height of the lights up for her lankinness. #3 is going to be pulled over on her 5th node once it is long enough to pin down to 90° . Girl scout cookies have been cleaned of their 1st and 2nd nodes so i can focus the attention on the 5 remaining mains as they grow out more.. watch this space.lol .

Started training as the growth was too central and she needs some fattening at the base.

LST, HST and defoliated second time, Fimmed main 1x, fimmed all tops 14 days later, fimmed all resulting tops 3 weeks later. well over 100 tops and counting, removed all tiny branches off the mains. pre loli.. lol Ill let em up in a few days. should be well beyond the 20" circumference of the 20 gal pots. Gonn a flower 2 in the space , and 2 in my newly acquired 48x48x80 tent. Shopping a few Flowering beasts to put in for the next phase. The bubble og plants are very much middle of the ground there not the greatest so far but they are still doing great. All 3 plants are still looking almost the same. One of them has recovered more it has praying leaves all day. The other 2 plants when the lights come on there leaves sag to the dirt but when afternoon comes around there praying really well. I hate plants like this. It's so hard to tell what they want. On the other hand these 3 plants already have a very strong dank smell going on This past week all the plants did great dealing with getting repotted and topped in the same week. I definitely took a Rick doing that seeing i only left each plant with 4 leaves. This past week was also a struggle to keep the vpd in a decent range. The Temps outside have been below 32 for a few days with Temps dipping down to almost 0 at night. With the space heater running it's pulling the humidity down. I think I have figured out the solution to that problem so I won't run into that next time it gets cold again. All the plants have really started to grow their new branches sense being topped. A few of the plants are a little smaller than I'd like but I'm gonna keep em alive for now.

I think I've missed a week off the diary, im in week 3 of flower, does it look ok? Im happy so far for a first timer, ive had her under a bulb but the suns nice here today so got her out, its not the 1st time so I trust it'll be OK and not a shock, I seem to have been lucky in this so far so hopefully it'll turn out OK in another 2 weeks or so? Any info or ideas are appreciated, cheers

Day 50. Girls are running fine. Found some strange black curled leaves, had to apply Leaf Coat just in case. Was stupid enough to spray already flowering auto tent, all pistils went dark and girls look like shit. I know it doesn't influence final result but its a shock and all photos will look like shit from now on .... So here i did it purely for not doing later ... ;)) Blue dreams are biggest plants, Kalini Asias and Runtz end up somewhere the same, but smaller than BD. Silica, water, feed. Thats the plan for this week. Day 53. Girls got Silica Acid yesterday and it was too early ;))) i have to move lights, but i don't want to induce more run, inner spacing is enormous on couple last nods ... Better to use in early veg and after stretch ;))) Video shows it all ... Day 53. Evening. They just run to the sky, some girls are rubing LED's ;))) If i raise lights today - ill have to repeat it tomorrow, still almost 2 weeks of stretch left ... will go "slow burn" way ;)))) Happy Growing !

- Week 7 - ----- Day 43 ----- Fed 1150ppm @ 6.4ph 23 Liters. Hard to get above 1200 ppm now. More molasses being used, maximum Koolbloom dry powder as well. Tropicanna Glookies is starting to turn purple. Wedding Cake is fattening up FAST More photos later this afternoon mid light cycle. *Update* Big bulk phase is 100% on right now. Wedding Cake is thicker than a tall can of beer in 4-5 nugs easily. Tropicanna Glookies is sweating out trichomes and getting super sticky while slowly turning purple Great things await for these 2 ladies over the next 20 days. *Update* 2 close up shots of some purpling on the Tropicanna Glookies. ----- Day 44 ----- Here's a video. slow easy day of nothing ----- Day 45 ----- I see a tiny bit of yellowing at edges, nothing serious. I don't have to feed every 2 days now anyways its slowed to 3. I top off the ones near turgor pressure loss levels ( I check my whole hand down side of pot for moisture now) with tap water when needed today. Tomorrow will be feeding ~1000ppm most likely due to using Diamond Nectar chelating nutrients with large amounts of blackstrap molasses when combined and left in the reservoir before use. This seems to drop the detectable ppm even though it retains a high level of nutrient content... with Cal/mag (1-0-0) and KoolBloom Powder which is like a 0-30-40 its wildly powerful. Back right Tropicanna smells like Pineapple Sour Patch Kids without the sour. Its insane. I wish I had smell o' vision for you folks right now. Wedding Cake is like sugary sweet but weed esque... earthy esque type of thing. Not the Tropicanna... Shits fruity like kool-aid. Nugs are getting humongous and its pretty fun to watch it fill in, I had a low level anxiety of it never "Filling" in... but yea it's day 45 and look at Big Bertha... nearly dwarfing my fat ass arm... wild shit. Feel like these ladies have at least another 14~ days on the lower end. Wedding Cake should finish a week after Tropicanna... Trying to grab Wedding Cake "indica" tendencies and max them by going for 40-50% amber, 60-50% cloudy trichomes with under 2% (like literally 1-3 clear per 60X magnifying pic) clear trichomes. Tropicanna only 20% ish amber until clear is only about 20% of trichome and cloudy makes up roughly 60% of total trichome finishing... ----- Day 46 ----- Easy day Fed 1050ppm @ 6.4ph 13 Liters only. I want the root zones to dry out more and quicker, less chance of mold and other root rot issues. Cutting watering/feeding in half now but will be feeding prob twice as much. Buds are fattening FAST and are turning purple. Looks like I got the purple pheno Wedding Cake. Woot. ----- Day 47 ----- Easy day Buds are gettin freaky. Really poppin out now. It's quite awesome to see. **Update** *** HEIGHT CHANGE EXPLAINED! *** Took the Tropicanna's off the pot risers I DIY'd and brought them to the floor. Gives light in between the 2 plants at the side and also helps remove any light burn on the tropicanna, as I have been noticing a very slight tinting of too much light in the central part of the tent. Plants look incredible, tiny bit of tip burn but im not too worried, I'm feeding 1000-1200 ppm at the moment. Speaking of which, fed some tap water, 500ml each, they were dry enough to warrant a turgor pressure loss top up. Feeding tomorrow. Enjoy some lights off shots. ----- Day 48 ----- Fed @ 1150ppm 6.4ph 13L Easy peasy lemon squeezy, here's a new video for you guys n gals. 14~ days to go. ----- Day 49 ----- They're getting super thirsty again. woke up dry. gave 500ml tap water each plant. Will do the same this evening. Tomorrow feeding going to go to 16 Liters instead of 13 Liters. I'm lazy and don't want to water daily. Plants look phenomenal, buds are getting massive. The Wedding Cake on the left is throwing out paintbrushes thick of pistils, it's quite insane. Gonna be a hell of a plant around day 63!!! Day 53 i'll start checkin trichomes and start posting x20-x60 shots.
